‼ Dashers Beware ‼ I've been working DoorDash and picking up from this location is horrible. They DO NOT prioritize DoorDash orders. When you arrive, regardless of the time of day, you will likely be told they are still working on your order. I have, on multiple occasions, went in to pickup an order while they have very few customers and they still don't have the order ready or even close to being ready. A typical wait time for this location is 15+ minutes. In addition, the staff are demeaning and rude to the Dashers. The last time I went in, the employee told me it would probably be about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. He said he can speed it up and I told him I was grateful because I loose money the longer I wait for orders. A waitress went to the back and was loud enough for me to hear her as she mocked me for telling him that. That's when I immediately cancelled the order and decided I would never pick up from them again. I don't accept any DoorDash orders for this restaurant anymore because I've waited over 20 minutes for an order and the staff I've dealt with are rude. I came to this restaurant about and hour and half before closing we ordered a burger and pasta. pretty simple and when he got his burger it was not all the way finished it was more pink then finished. When she asked what we wanted the waitress knew he wanted it all the way done. We also ended up finishing our drinks before getting our food like people usually do and she walk past us multiple times did not refill our drinks. However she kept going to the back or sitting at the bar with her friends. anything to ignore her job. I'm very disappointed I'm a waitress myself and I know most of your money comes from tips. the pasta was good but she did not do her job and it's very disappointing that people don't understand what customers service is, I've never complained or made a review but I feel like this need to be addressed. read more

We were out at the car dealership in the area and decided to head over to Applebee's for dinner. We came in and they weren't very busy and we were seated right away. It did take a little while to have the server come over. Once she did she was very nice and pleasant. We got our drink orders in and went on to look at the menu and decide what we were eating. We got some appetizers which came pretty quickly and were hot and yummy. We got queso and chips, mozzarella sticks, soups, boneless wings. All were cooked to perfection and of an ok portion size. We got our food shortly thereafter. All came out hot and was correct. I got one of their new pasta/Mac n cheese meals and it was incredible! Every one ate and enjoyed. We did have a strange experience with some people in the restaurant who were letting their child climb in the windows and kind of trash the restaurant which was a huge distraction to my little ones but to each their own I guess. The service there seemed lazy and didn't really seem to care about the legacy of Applebee's. One good thing was the the place was moderately clean. ***** YINZ WAS OPEN. MADE MY LABOR DAY! ***** Okay. So we got up a little late to get on the road Labor Day morning. So late, in fact, that we missed the continental breakfast at the hotel. Found hour plus waits at all the brunch places in Cranberry. Lines out the door even at Denny's and Cracker Barrel. Should give you an idea of the desperation that we faced. Considered getting on the highway and gutting it out. Took a chance on an empty parking lot at Applebee's. Was it permanently closed? Couldn't believe our luck that it had opened two minutes earlier at 11:00. A tug on the door handle revealed that we were the first customers of the day. Grilled chicken cheddar bacon on brioche would have been incredible even if I hadn't been famished. Darling wife loved her club sandwich. The hostess's genuine smile and server Ciara's cheery disposition brightened our day. It was like having two Mary Poppins taking care of us. Applebee's is never going to have any surprises. They do a good job all the time. Their employees seem to enjoy their jobs. I had their "whiskey cheeseburger" without tomato ( don't care for raw tomatoes) . The sandwich was very sloppy because it had so many ingredients....... But...........it was delicious. I really enjoyed it along with the perfectly done Fries. To make it a really good experience our server, Leah, was great and the Mgr coming by the table to check on us was a nice touch. We came in today, Sunday June 16th for lunch. Immediately we were met by a rude hostess, or so we thought but this person ended up being our server. Rude would be complimenting our waitresses behavior! Tables around us were complaining about their food and slow service. We had to ask the manager to be waited on because we sat for almost ten minutes without being acknowledged. Our food took 42 minutes once we ordered it. We could not get drink refills, the server never checked on us at all. The food was not good as the burger was burnt and my pasta was cold. At no point did the manager visit our table! I called the manager Christine tonight. My fiance took me there on a date and the drinks were extremely diluted. My fiance is a lightweight and he had two long island ice teas. He was completely sober. I then ordered a double shot of Tito's vodka on ice and then knew for certain it was absolutely watered down. When I talked to the manager Christine she was extremely rude with me and hung up on me. I have a stuttering disorder and was told that I could barely even speak I was so "intoxicated". I was not. When I told her that I have a stutter and I was very angry she dismissed that and told me to "get some sleep sweetie". I will be calling corporate today. That is not right and is highly illegal. I have been ordering from Applebees for years, however lately the food has been going downhill. Today we ordered for Carry Out; 2 Riblet Platter dinners and an order of boneless chicken wings. I have ordered this same meal several times. This time the dinners were horrible, meat was tasteless and smothered in an overly gross BBQ sauce. We decided to get out of the house for dinner tonight. We can to our local Applebee's to see if it is any good. As we walked in it was not busy, so very easy to get a table. We ordered our drinks which I got a Blue Moon, which was not cold, it was slightly chilled. The orange was probably on the verge of becoming rotten. We ordered two chicken meals based on the picture. One was as shown the other not even close. It was supposed to be chicken, tomato and mozzarella sliced and lined. Instead they combined it like a sandwich which made it taste like crap. Applebee's has been our long time standby place to eat. Whether we are looking for a quick bite, a fun place to watch a game or looking for a late night stop. The place is always clean, there is always a host or hostess to open the door. Nothing better than a friendly welcome. We always ask for and get a booth. Another thing to like about Applebee's is their ever changing menu. As with any new year, there is always the same old resolution. And I am famous for the trying to eat meals with a few less calories. Applebee's helps. They currently have 3 Weight Watches choices worth 12-13 points. My favorite for the time being is Lemon Parmesan Shrimp. Now, if you aren't doing W.W., that meal is 490 calories. It's big enough that you can divide it in half, take half home and both your meals is 245 calories. Nice. They also have "Under 550" meals that include exciting items like a Sirloin Steak with Garlic Herb Shrimp. This one is kinda high in fat, so you might want to stick with the Napa Chicken & Portobellos. Service is always fairly quick and fairly friendly. Also, if you have an issue, the manager is right there, "Johnny on the Spot", to fix things up. All and all, a good chain. read more

Hadn't been to this Applebees in a while and, sadly, today gave us the reason to never go back. Can't comment on the food, never got a chance to taste any or even look at a menu. My wife gave her name when we arrived and was told about a 15 minute wait. That seemed reasonable. However, after 15 minutes, and 3 couples who arrived well after us were seated we decided to check on our status. We were then informed that they hadn't written down our name, and thus would have to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes. No apology. We left and went to another restaurant (where, btw, we were seated within 15 minutes with no issues). Mistakes happen, but there are ways to handle them. It's a little town filled with great modern conveniences and with a name like Cranberry, how can you hate it. The fam was starving and decided to pig out a little, so we ended up ordering a ton. Here's the list and I'll mention the winners of the night. =P. Apps for the family, Spinach & Artichoke Dip, a chicken noodle soup and a typical Caesar salad, winner was the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. It was deliciously creamy, but not watery and the tortilla chips were fresh (if that's even possible). Nice combo and it was exactly what was needed. Now for the mains, we shared the 12 Oz Ribeye cooked medium rare with mash potatoes and a small clam chowder soup. We also ordered the Steak & Portbello which was upgraded to a 10 Oz cooked medium rare with some seasoned vegetables. There's an option for that so definitely inquire if you're a bigger eater and lastly, a three-cheese chicken penne pasta bowl. And the winner of the entrees was definitely the Steak & Portbello steak. It was tender and was marinated well. Not over cooked at all, the juices and flavour all worked. There was a brown sauce with the dish, not sure what it was.. but it was tasty. Probably some kind of gravy that's a little unique to Applebee's for this dish. Overall, I have always liked Applebee's and the night was exactly what we wanted. Nice, comforting food, and a place that won't break your bank. I did actually like this location a little bit better than most. But mann is this a popular place to be as the wait on a weekday was 15-30 mins on an average. Kinda nutty eh? unprofessional, absolutely disgusting environment. bartenders and servers at this restaurant make this industry look like a joke, would get better service at mcdonald's. there's also an inch of grease on the bathroom floors but if you complain the servers will go in there with their NON-SLIP (if compliant with serving requirements which is unlikely ) shoes and make a mokery of customers for slipping on their disgusting floors. servers and bartenders spoke so loudly about tables with 10 people in the entire restaurant so everyone could hear- making it an extremely uncomfortable, disrespectful, and unwelcoming environment. would not go back here or recommend anyone go here considering i am well-bodied and almost cracked my head open twice. once on a wet floor that had absolutely no wet floor sign in sight and a second time in the bathroom. this place should honestly be shut down for safety concerns let alone their untrained unprofessional staff. not to mention the disgusting drink the bartender made me i could not even take a sip of because it was 95% tequila- despite ordering a mixed drink with many other mixers in it. my server then grabbed the drink off of my table, untouched, and took it back to the bar (didn't even give me a chance to drink the one she made me pay for) and got me a new one, had the audacity to charge me for both drinks- despite her taking my full beverage that i PAID FOR and not even allowing me to finish it. i would have had no problem paying for both beverages if i even got to drink them (despite the nasty first drink) but my server made that impossible. if i knew i was going to be charged for a $15 cocktail that my server likely took to the back and drank herself, i would have kept my original disgusting drink read more

This place, starting at he front entry, stinks as though the carpet as NEVER BEEN cleaned, but left to ferment. This condition is not surprising since the management and front of the house don't seem to care. In my two visits, I witnessed the wait staff standing around, complaining about their lives. I'm probably never giving Applebee's my buisness again. I frequently do Uber eats orders with them while I'm at work. They're usually descent. The past like 3 times I've ordered from them it's gone way downhill. Just keep in mind with Uber eats I'm paying almost double that I would if I were to dine in. Yet everytime I get an order from them, the portion sizes are even SMALLER than if I were to dine in. So I called ahead this time and asked them to include some ranch, and to make sure I got more than 8 fries. Not only did they not put the ranch in, I got the same McDonald's dollar menu sized fries, and my food was something you use utensils with. NO UTENSILS. IM AT WORK. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EVEN EAT IT? WITH MY HANDS? The people that work there are so unprofessional and just honestly really ghetto. And cheap. It's like because they know it's an Uber eats order, they know that they don't get tipped ( I know for doing so much work being a cook, oh wait but they're not the cook, all they do is hand the driver a bag) and the driver is the person that gets tipped(WHICH I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER), so they make sure your order is horrible, because they're greedy. I ordered curbside at this restaurant. I ordered a super big wing platter and a dollar drink. The food was good but what really amazed me was the service. The server who waited on me, John, I believe, was such a nice young man and was very courteous when handing my food to me. He noticed me talking to my mother in Spanish and he started up the conversation in Spanish with me! It was absolutely delightful.
