i came on a sunday with my family for my fiancés birthday and we had 9 people sit down first it started with the hostess she had an attitude and kept sitting other people and would give us attitude then our server was good but service was horrible the food came out three plates had to be sent back my brother in laws food got sent back twice and then my step dad honestly just asked to have it boxed up and his check out server was amazing he did everything but the food was not the greatest today to be honest i don't think we won't be back i'm sorry i'm just happy he commped some stuff read more

Yesterday I went into Applebee's with a friend and I ordered their Tex Mix salad and I found it was I just really liked it and as I do sometimes I decided I wanted it again today well and trying to order it. I had ordered it with the oriental salad dressing and it doesn't really come with salad dressing but they had nice enough to put it on yesterday and so I called in and because you can't give it over the phone Marco he was absolutely just absolutely wonderful. He answered all my questions and they understood why I couldn't come pick it up myself and he saw it to it that I got my oriental dressing and my salad and I'm I'm very happy and I thought they were absolutely wonderful both yesterday and today and I'm sorry I can't remember the ladies name from yesterday cause she was absolutely wonderful also so just to say hey they've got some great people there and I really like the fact that you can talk there and it's you can have a conversation I really I used to go to Applebee's out by the Y in Rancho San Diego with friends, but I had never noticed this particular thing on the menu but this time I did and I'm I really really enjoyed it and and you know it just it's just so nice to go into a nice and friendly clean wonderful place and Marco again I must say young man put up with all my questions. Horrible waitress. I had two gift cards. I usually use them. Then leave the waitress a tip in money. Charlotte swiped my gift cards at the table. I had no idea what I was agreeing to. Our son was at dinner with some friends so my husband and I decided to go sit at the bar for a drink and a quick bite to eat. It's rare we can sit at the actual bar so we figure why not. The bartender was super cool, it was quite busy but she made sure everyone at the bar top was taken care of and was enjoying themselves. She was really nice and attentive. I ordered a vodka club soda, hard to mess it up but it was good. Just the right mix of booze and bubbles. We ordered chips and queso and a side of honey glazed boneless wings. The chis were good, queso I could have used a little more spice but that is my personal taste. The boneless wings were good, sauce was tasty but they weren't entirely coated in the sauce so they were a bit lackluster. Overall good was ok but the service was great and we enjoyed our banter back and forth with the employees and the patrons sitting at the bar with us. We'd go back for drinks for sure. read more

the new sizzling skillets are so good!!!! I had the cheese chicken skillet which is served on a sizzling skillet, with broccoli which caramelized on the skillet and was delicious. chicken in a creamy cheesy sauce on top of mashed potatoes. Superb! haven't tried the others but the chicken is so good. will try another, maybe the shrimp. UPDATE: We went back a few days ago. And they no longer have the sizzling skillets!!! What??? I got a text this morning from Applebee's that said with the code pick6 I would get 6 free wings for an order of $10. I ordered $92 worth of food typed in pick6 and it said invalid. When I got to the restaurant I told them what happened and the manager sent over a waitress (he didn't have the backbone) to tell me if I want the wings free I had to order more. I come here all the time and I never have a problem! I love to come here for some after work margaritas and some boneless wings! Is it Michelin star food? No. Does it fill your stomach and easy on the wallet? Yes. I have no problem with this place. I have to give a big shout out to our awesome waitress Maria. I request her every time I'm here because she always gives us the most outstanding service. Hard working and pays attention to every request you make. I know it's average food at this chain applebees, but something about the service and how affordable it is always brings me back! Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my recent visit to Applebee's. The beers that my table ordered were advertised at $3, but when we received the bill, they were priced at $6 each. This was very misleading and the manager explained that the prices are different online but gave no explanation as to why. The menus also don't have prices next to the drinks so we relied on our server to give accurate pricing, which he was unable to do. To add insult to injury, the food was only average tasting and was overpriced for what it was. While the service was decent, I would not recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good value. Craving French onion soup with yummy cheese and crostini so I ordered from Applebees via Uber eats and this is what I got. As soon as I held the bag it was so light I could throw it around. I thought I received the wrong order. I opened the bag and this was what I got. It's like what would be served in an old folks home. There was no onion in it and it was just Joyce. It was cold. The bread that came with it was covered with some goo that had solidified on top so I couldn't even tell what it was. It was congealed. I threw the entire meal away! Disgusting. When you've been to one, you've been to them all we have found over the years. It pays to be somewhat saavy to come a few times and choose wisely on their otherwise basic menu. Many of choices look and sound better than taste. Bourbon street chicken was best entree so far. The butter pecan blondie dessert is actually the best thing in the menu though. A absolute must for us every time. I've found that you get what you pay for around 90% of the time with few exceptions. I'll admit that my expectations were somewhat above average, so don't let yourself down. The mere fact that you can return your plate much more to your liking is worth it alone. Occasionally things will be over- salted so just send it back. Don't hesitate or think twice! Believe it or not, they do want you to like the meal and the experience here. Course this applies anywhere right? At least it should. We've mostly done the 2 for $20 or $25 depending on choices at a few locations, and they seem the same everywhere. As in quality, taste and service. I think they have a decent happy hour for beer and drinks. Portions are smaller for better plates, for cost control obviously. We've found it aight, and after all, what else can you do with that gift card you received? Well, you could re-gift it I suppose. Nah, use 'em or lose 'em. Fancy like? Not sure that this is where I'd bring a "date" (who liked country music) but it was a good choice for Veterans Day - thanks to their offering a free meal to those with military ID. The line was also shorter here than a the very nearby Texas Roadhouse - and shorter still by being willing to share a table with other vets. They even gave me a card to get $5 of my next meal this month to give me even more reason to come back (or possibly check out a different Applebee's location - with someone wanting to enjoy two straws and one check like in a song). read more

My poor husband had to walk far to sit at a table. He can't do stairs. I would say the first stairs by the door make those a ramp. He's plump so he can't do booths. Go here for the drinks and friendly service not the food . We had the boneless buffalo wings and cheese sticks for appetizers . Those were good . But the chicken tenders and fries were pretty bad . The chicken tenders were over cooked making them hard . We also ordered the half rack of Bbq ribs and onion rings . The rings were good , but the ribs were so over cooked they were gross . I've never had ribs that bad . This was not the first time the food was not satisfactory . I've dined here many times over the years . met 2 friends late after we'd all had separate stressful days. we were a bit indecisive about our drinks until our waiter Corban spent a few minutes with us. he was informative, funny, and patient with our questions. we got the extra pour cocktails and loved them. everyone tried everyone else's drink and still loved them lol. i had the mai thai and could have happily had that in front of me all night. decided to mix it up round 2 and had the brewtus margarita, which i also enjoyed. Applebee's stores are always clean, and the staff is always attentive. I used to like eating here, this last time has soured me. I went in and they seated me. They were fairly busy, I admit, but they seated me in the bar in a booth. The bartender could easily see me, and wait staff were all around. I sat, IGNORED, for 15 minutes. Nobody acknowledged my presence, nobody offered me a drink or menu, nobody even had the courtesy to just say that they would be with me shortly. The bartender was more interested in flirting with customers at the bar to boost her tips. Since they weren't interested in my business, I left. I called the restaurant to leave a complaint, the person who answered didn't really seem interested in listening or caring-I guess they have enough business that they don't really care about customer service. I called corporate and was informed they would talk to management and update me. This was three weeks ago, I guess corporate isn't too concerned either. I know parking at this location is terrible, but I see more people parking to eat at the Texas Roadhouse instead of Applebees. read more
