This is our first time dining in and other than the line to order was taking a bit too long per one of the customer in line; it was a pretty good experience. They have 3 self service kiosk, which was convenient for us. I do however think they need to rethink of the kiosk placement. There were 3 people in line to order from a live cashier and with the 3 kiosk all taken, it felt like everyone was on top of each other. The place was super clean. I've gotten sick from their chicken sandwich and reported this to corporate and yet to receive a response. My con and his children as welll experienced the same issues with their chicken products and they filed a food poisoning complaint with them and corporate and they have not responded to them as well. Habit Burger is a burger chain that has a bunch of different locations throughout San Diego. Luckily I have a few not too far from my home. Always looking for the next great burger. I felt it was time to try this burger spot. Being a newer franchise compared to other burger chains. The stand alone burger spots are newer modern structures. Everything is clean and not outdated. Maybe too nice. Maybe not. Service was timely and friendly this visit. The star of the show is the Charburger. Prepared different ways. There is a few variations of the original. Being the first time here. I went with a regular Charburger with cheese. A delicious meaty burger very reminiscent to WhatABurger which I am a fan off. We had the special of the 5.99 charburger on the banner outside. For a dollar more u get cheese. We had the cheese but they didn't melt it! The meat was also very salty and not hot and barely warm. They appear to do delivery service at their pick up window; I waited 30 minutes behind a car yesterday, I mentioned that to the lady at the window and she shrugged her shoulders as I was trying to humor her, I asked for it for free at $1.59 she said I already rang. For the Habit Burger restaurant they have been the one that can be considered as the beer chain restaurants that also with the many of the beers that they have was introduced at the International Beer Festival. For the many restaurants that say they have a great burger the way the burgers are cooked with the buns they have. For this review will be in two parts for the many burgers that I have had the advertisements don't describe it's the taste and the presentation of the way the burger is prepared. When the beer festival took place it gave me chance to see the service it was more of a frat house group. The way the restaurant is represented is the food of the brand and the flavors of the beer. The many restaurants of the Habit have been in the sports parks and those of the drive in's which makes some of the best burgers . The many restaurants I have seen are ones located in the many parts of San Diego with the sports fever that has taken San Diego Habit should name burgers for the new movies. To create a great restaurant to have the best burgers for many places that try say they have the best falls apart on the first bite . Habit burgers need to have specials and the classic burgers for the ladies and the guys to have a balanced menu that can can show great food for the ladies and the guys . As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many restaurants and travel locations for the great hamburgers and those of the combos presentation and the way a burger should be made is one that catches the eye not to have a greasy mess one that stays together. I came in with the intention on having a cheese burger combo, but when I noticed they also had an Ahi Tuna Filet burger as well, I decided to got that route. I had the combo. They temp the tuna at a nice medium, otherwise indicated, and it was very good. The tuna was nicely seasoned and tasted very good. The burger came with the basics: tomatoes, lettuce, and a tartar sauce. I added pickles too which worked very well. The French Fries arrived piping hot and crispy and well seasoned. Service was up beat at the counter and friendly. I do recommend they light up the place a bit. It's a little on the dark side inside the building. Let's put some light on the subject. I love the food and I used to visit this location every payday as a reward. Lately I quit going there because there is this guy that works there that acts like a huge jerk to me. If I ask him for anything he acts like I'm taking food from his children's mouth. I don't feel like dealing with him anymore. First off, great upgrade from the dreary and sad excuse of a Burger King that once inhabited this space. Replaced by modern furnishings, tastefully decorated, and clear, easy to read and understand signage, and friendly people. I love the kiosk idea even tho I am old school when it comes to liking the interaction with the counter and added service. I ventured in and found the experience to be intuitive and easy to navigate. There was enough info on the menu options to make my decisions and the check out was painless, including payment. I received a text to confirm my order and within minutes my order was ready for dine-in. I ordered the Charburger with cheese, onion rings and a bottle of H2O. The burger was really good as is, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, pickles, and light mayo. The onion rings were lightly breaded, piping hot, and fresh. The menu is well done and between the burgers, meatless options, chicken sandwiches, a nice selection of salads, it would appear there is something for everyone. Finally, the mark of a restaurant that cares about its patrons and the health of its occupants is the restroom. I give this place flying colors for having clean and fresh restrooms. Ordered at the kiosk. I don't know if you can order at the counter, but I assume not because nobody greeted or acknowledged us. Ordered tempura avocado. Received tempura green beans. Asked for an exchange and was told they dont carry the avocados. I asked why the kiosk has that item available and she said the employees have no control over the kiosk. They did offer me sweet potato fries or onion rings. I asked for a refund on the item, as I was not interested in those. And then they told me they can't refund kiosk orders. Seriously? That makes no sense. I asked why they wouldn't at least put a sign on the kiosk, and they said they couldn't. If this is truly corporates policy, shame on them.
