The food was very delicious. I like the different varieties and options to choose from. Their four cheese Mac and Cheese with the tenders on top is one of my favorite dishes. The service was nice we got in pretty fast and the margaritas were very tasty. read more

Last time I went with my husband we were ignored by all the servers never got silverwar, no one ever took our drink order , I used the tablet they provide to send our appetizer order back. When our appetizer came the chicken was cold and I bit into cartilage I lost my appetite after that. We sat their getting ignored for almost an hour even though we got the host to go get our server 4 times she never came. Then when we asked to speak to the manger another server used their body to block me from getting out of my side of the booth. I asked her to move which she didn't she ignored me and only looked at my husband but until we told her that we weren't staying and wanted to leave and only after my husband asked her to move did she actually move. I felt scared and trapped when she did that. I don't advise eating here due to servers not doing their jobs properly and ignoring paying customers for over an hour. My go to restaurant for when I'm on my way to upstate NY hockey tournaments. People are really friendly and the food is great! I suggest the 2 for $20, really an awesome deal when you go with somebody. They also have NY lottery games up there too! Which is cool! Overall, I'd come here if you're in Elmira. read more

I love apples bees don't get me wrong but sitting at the bar and denying people of drinks because they don't have the new id is not cool lots of people come to drink with old id and don't know the new laws and it very unfair that the denied us of drinks even tho we were 21 and older but because of our id any other bar would let us drink please be kind to the people that don't have new id especially older people that don't know what the new id look like at all read more

Their food isn't normally that great, but I was looking for a change last night. First off, I was greated warmly, the doorman was excellent. I was seated and was told that my waitress would be right with me. However, this is not a discrete time frame. It turned out to be over 5 minutes before a waitress came. Luckily, in this time, I was able to figure out what I wanted and ordered right then along with a Pepsi. I saw my waitress again 10 minutes later, and I got my Pepsi. 15 minutes later, I got my steak, from a different waitress. It was at most decent. It was cooked to my liking (medium-rare), however, it wasn't that tasty. The veggies that I ordered on the side had some that were cooked and some that weren't...interesting. I finished what I could of the meal (without another drink because I still hadn't seen my waitress again). Finally, as I was pushing the plate away, she came back. I asked for another Pepsi and my check. Over 10 minutes later (and I timed it), I received my Pepsi and check. I gave her my debit card right then because I didn't want to wait again. 7 minutes later, I got my check back to sign. All this while, I watched her walk around asking other tables if they needed anything and then going to the bar to talk to people. She did not get an excellent tip. I will never go back. Aside from my son's burger not being quite up to par and how it was handled, the rest of our food and service was good. The Cowboy burger. It was to have fried onions on it, and when brought out, it looked like a big, black ball of burnt. Instead of the waitress taking the entire plate back to the kitchen to have it corrected, she took the onions off the burger at the table and took them back to the kitchen and we could hear her yelling at the cook. About 15 minutes later, the manager came out with a fresh pile of onions and had my son put them on himself. As far as I'm concerned, it was totally handled wrong. He wasn't offered any comp, so regardless of the rest of our food being good, I comped myself by deducting a percentage from my usual tipping standard. Overall it's okay, just some restaurant business practices really need to be tweaked up. read more

Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, staff was very friendly! Found a piece of paper in my sandwich, but the manager immediately took the sandwich off the bill and i was more than happy with that! The way they handled the mistake was quick, professional, and honorable! I will be returning to Applebee's in the future! read more

The food is always good and we've never had a bad waitress here. I usually get the Asian chicken salad and my bf tries something different every time and he's always happy. My only complaint is that the cosmos and long island ice teas were very weak. Otherwise I'd give them the full 5 stars. The prices are great compared to Fridays. We can't wait to go back. read more

Food was great, the waitress was awesome. The manager on duty checked on us since our food did take a while. We were in no hurry, so it was not that big of deal. I do like that you can swipe a credit card right at the table, so there is no waiting for the waitress to bring you a check and then wait for them to come pick up the card and then wait for them to bring the card back. 1st thing as we were seated at r table noticed food in front of r table and silverware n food under table. Had to actually say something to get it cleaned up even though waitresses stood in it 3 times 1st to take beverage order 2nd to deliver beverages 3rd to take order finally had to say something. All of are appetizers came out with salads except 1 order of mozzarella sticks then came soup and are pasta and the other order of mozzarella sticks next b4 we were even done with salads. 1 soap was boiling hot and 1 cold asked for them to heat it up came back just slightly above warm. 1 pasta dish was hot other cold seriously what is going on with this place? My girlfriend and i hardly ever get out without are children like 3 times a year and sucks we wasted 1 on this place! We will never come back again! Top all off to pay almost 40 dollars for crap food crap service and dirty! I could of taken same 40 and made a spectacular sinner at home for my girl! Not as flavorful as the Applebee's in Pittsburgh. My wife had Napa Chicken and they served white mushrooms and not portabella as advertised. Also the restaurant in Pittsburgh had a gravy in their meal .. not here. No flavor as well. My shrimp dinner was missing some ingredients as well. read more

I love this place. The food is excellent and they have so many unique dishes. Great atmosphere. We always see people we know there. Prices are mid-range, but they so have great appetizer specials. A group of 4 of us have been going there for the past several years with no issues. Arrived around 1120.. ordered by 1130 and by 1245 we had not recieved our food. The table behind us that arrived at least a half hour before us got their appetizers and food in the time we had to wait. One persons coffee was cold and the waitress eventually came so we could tell her. The waitress came and stated that our food was almost ready... then the people behind us got their food. We asked where ours was again.. because it was ridiculous. Someone apparently higher than our waitress came back and said that the kitchen was really behind and orders got backed up and numerous other excuses. Our waitress was very nice.. however being that it was a very busy day one would think that a restaurant would be much better prepared. There are now 4 customers that will not visit that applebees location and possibly any others. read more
