This place is going to kill someone. I just stopped in for a beer and some wings and was served raw chicken wings. Twice! The manager came out to say "the prep cook said oops, maybe I didnt put them down the 4 extra minutes". Oops?! You are in foodservice. There are SOPs and temps in place for a reason, especially at a franchise! I highly recommend each cook and manager go back and be recertified. Our waitress was extremely rude, our dinner party was four people, we got two orders of spinach artichoke dip, the chips had an insane amount of salt on them to the point to where you had to scrap it all off to make them edible. When we told the waitress she said "yeah they can be a little heavy handed with that sometimes". We also ordered medium steak which was given to us rare. Was extremely bloody and looked as if it was only briefly seared on both sides. When asking if we could get it thrown back on the grill the waitress was rude as well. Longtime customer of this location as I grew up in Linden/Fenton area and recently, our visit to the restaurant was absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Jamie O was phenomenal with making sure our order was correct, coming out fast and fresh. We ordered a drink she suggested to us while greeting us and we loved it. She ran back and forth for our table numerous times for dips, napkins, refills -- she was the BEST! Definitely will be requesting her during our next visit. This establishment has come a long way. I ate there on Nov. 27th 2018. I'm so sick!!! Avoid eating there!! I ate French Onion Soup & a Salad. The waitress made thousand Island for me. That was nice of her, as they don't carry it. I have been throughing up my food and have diarrhea. I called the store to let them know of the problem. They said they refrigerate everything and sorry it happened. I asked if they could be compensated for my meal. I was told they haven't had any other complaints. She also asked me, if I ate somewhere else( I said I wouldn't be calling you if I had). I just had a perfect night out with my wife at this Applebee's then I found out that I was charged $1.00 for ice cubes in my drink $1.00...... I didn't have to pay for my ice in my water glass but evidently whiskey glasses are more important. Now I know I'm in Fenton when all I review are huge chains, kinda grosses me out. Alas, I am obligated to share my opinion and experiences - alllllll for you! We stumbled into this joint around 10pm on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised. They really do a good job of making you feel like you're Eating Good in the Neighborhood. The decor is as if a local owner plastered all his memorabilia and old local photos on the walls with comfy booths and wooden tables, it's really pretty genius. And the food, the food actually tastes great. I suppose anything covered in butter and cheese and salt tends to taste amazing but they do a better job at it than most. There was no shortage of people, even at the late hour, and everyone seemed to be having good 'ol time. Sharon was pleasant, efficient and had a genuine care for our pleasurable experience. She made recommendations and even laughed at my fellow diners' jokes. While I would highly recommend going somewhere local for diner, I think there's a steakhouse right down the street, if you find your tummy rumbling at late hour than this place will surely do the trick. read more

This is the only Applebees I've been to in the last 2 years that may actually be worth the chain restaurant quality overpriced food. Let me be honest, my house is NEVER quiet, so online ordering is a option sent from heaven for a person like me. My favorite Applebee's meal includes pico de gallo, which I don't like. This is the only local restaurant where I can order it without the pico online, without having to make a special note or call to make the request. Thank you!!!! The server took care of part of it, but the shift manager was no where to be seen. A concern left on Applebee's survey site - and a request for a follow-up, did get a call. But the woman manager that called was abrupt and short in her request to why I "complained". It was clear on the site, and with that attitude - I was getting nowhere with her. Owner, Franchisee, or Applebee's corporate - you have an issue here. Whatever manager was on-shift about 5pm on Jan 7th should be given parking lot litter duty. To whom it may concern, I am a former employee at Miller Apple L.P., specifically the Applebee's on Silver parkway in Fenton Michigan. I am leaving this review to let potential customers and potential employees know my experience with the Management at Miller Apple L.P.. I worked at Applebee's for months to help pay for my schooling. Back in March of 2022, I was working a shift and felt weak. Upon leaving I went to the emergency department, and I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I let the management know about my health problems. Then I turned my focus to my health and treatment. After many rounds of chemotherapy, months in the hospital and a bone marrow transplant in August, things seem to be heading in a good direction. After one of my doctors' appointments, I thought it would be nice to stop in today October 28th, 2022, because it would be nice to see the team. The service was great, and the food was fine. When the bill arrived, I was told my employee discount couldn't be applied because I no longer worked there, and this was news to me. I was still in the employee group chat and planning on coming back when my medical team gave me the okay. When I asked to speak to Tammy the manager in charge or Justin the next most senior manager, I was told they were too busy (it was not busy in the dining room but I don't know what was going on in the back), so I talked to the manager in training. I didn't have an issue with her as she had nothing to do with the problem and she seemed nice enough. After all the effort I put into my work, I felt insulted. Until this experience, I held both Tammy and Justin with upmost regard and respect. My issue isn't with the discount but rather how people are treated. After dealing with an illness that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, it genuinely hurt to be treated that way by people who preached about teamwork and caring. People who I thought cared about me. I can honestly say that I will never dine at or work for any Miller Apple L.P. business ever again. While it's not my place to tell anyone else what to do, I will say consider my experience when deciding on a place to dine or a place to work. Thank you. read more

Waiter was quick and friendly and answered the questions some members of our group had. He also refilled drinkers in a timely fashion. Food came pretty quickly and was very good. We ate here the other day at about 3pm. I don't usually prefer this place but my kids love it and I had a gift card for $10 I had to use so we did. I ordered a meal with no cheese because I am allergic to it and was trying to pick a soup that did not have dairy...which it seemed like quite the task..I finally decided on tomato basil assuming it didn't have dairy. After asking the server if it had dairy he didn't know and said it didn't have cheese. So I get it (shortly after the kids got their food), it looks creamy and of course, has dairy of some sort..luckily my allergy is tempermental and doesn't always affect me bad but, you just never know when it will and then...ambulance ride. The kids got their food and mine was nowhere to be found because they put cheese in it and I had to wait until my kids were almost done eating for them to re-make it. I honestly dislike this place very much...don't prefer the food and the service sucks...I should have demanded a discount at the very least for my inconveniences but I don't like to make a scene. I just wish the server would take it upon himself to make sure the customer is happy...but..they don't care. read more
