The waitresses important at work they are not very friendly. All they do is Call at you they don't smile. It's not a great place to hang out obviously unless you know them personally I don't wanna go back. I don't feel welcomed. read more

We had a great first experience here! Two of us had 2 beers, a burger, and wings and it was $34- great prices! We can't eat our for less than $45 these days! Solid drink selection- great craft beer choices Wings- 6.5/10, very crispy batter which I enjoyed. Husband loved the bleu cheese dip Burger-7.5/10, peppery but in a good way. I did have grease dripping down my chin eating it! Fries- 6/10, reminded me of McDonald's (that's a good thing for me!), they were just too peppery for me. We got a carry out of ribs and bread sticks. The ribs were incredibly tender. No smoke flavor on them, but very good. Very reasonably priced. It came with a 1 pound container of slaw which was pretty good. I would go back again to try something. read more

We came here after the Renn Faire, and I understand they were super busy. But the service was so, so bad. It was obvious that they had like two people for the entire place being packed. This could not have been the only time during the rennaisance faire season where they have been so packed. I don't know if someone just didn't show up to work, or if it was some sort of failure to staff the place appropriately, but it was not good. The food was fine. The food was disappointing. Our table ordered fish and chips, Ruben sandwich, and chicken tortilla soup. The Ruben was sliced not shredded and when you bite all of the meat slides out. Fish and chips was pretty bad and the soup was too spicy! read more

Stopped in after we went to Holly Oaks ORV Park for drinks, food and to watch the Kentucky Derby. Rachael was our server and she was very sweet and took excellent care of us! We are bourbon drinkers and they had a nice selection and the prices were good! We split a couple appetizers - hot cheese balls and the steak bites...both very good...great ranch for the cheese and the zip sauce was nice with the steak which was cooked medium like we ordered. We were getting full but wanted to try their cheeseburger so we split that also. Great flavor and the bun was nice. Fries were very good too! Restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere...we would definitely come back! read more

I GIVE 4 &1/2 STARS!!!!! GREAT burgers breadsticks & the BLT pizza? my daughter loves it. First let me say that the burgers are REAL meat, not that thin fake meat. This hamburger meat or Beef tastes fresh and not processed. The french fries are seasoned very tasty different than any other restaurant around. They have great customer service only reason i didn't give 5 stars is they get a little busy and have messed up an order or 2,or 3 but it was small things like forgotten salad or bacon on my burger when i didnt ask for bacon. But its understandable when its a very busy friday night. Its a little pricey but its worth it. Highly recommend whiskey River. read more

Passing through on a journey from Detroit to central Michigan and stopped in for dinner with a group of 5. The food was disappointing and over priced for the quality of the products they are using. The waitress was distracted and forgot to bring part of the order, multiple times. Local patrons clogged up narrow aisles, blocking the route to the bathroom. read more

The food was average. I had chicken strips and fries. I found the breading on the strips to be a bit too crunchy for my tastes but it wasn't overdone or inedible I just prefer a softer breading. The restaurant itself it somewhat noisy because the ceiling is really high and there's tvs going. It has a sports bar feel to it. read more

Went here with my husband and brother to try somewhere we had not been. Traditional bar food. Fish sandwich was reported to be good by the hubby. The Mac that came with it was tasty. The burger was head-nod good according to my brother. I ordered the BBQ nachos. They were tasty also. It's a large serving so we took some home. So I have been here several times over the last several months. From the road, it looks a little rough but once you walk inside it is very nice and clean. We have watched several sporting events here, and they are great about us drinking and taking up seats. The menu is a typical bar fair but very good and recommend the wings. Went on a Sunday evening and the crowd dwindled to the two of us and two or three other customers. It was about 8:00pm and even though the posted hours said they were open until 11:00pm the bartender was more focused on wiping down the bar and tables and mopping the floor than serving customers. It seemed like things that should've been done after they closed. She was using bleach and other strong cleaners and the odors were off putting. Meanwhile our glasses sat empty on the bar. Our food came and it was good so that part of the visit went OK. I have been to this place several times before but probably haven't been for a year or so. I have a loyalty card that should've had some considerable credit on it and when I went to use that credit I was informed that they no longer took their own loyalty cards.
