Unfortunately, this was one of the worst Applebee's experiences I've had. To start, our waiter never refilled our drinks, even after our cups were empty. He also left the menus and the tray he brought our waters out on sitting on the table for our entire meal. We moved them behind us! We waited about an hour for our food. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with mashed potatoes and green beans. I specifically asked for my food to be brought out hot because it arrived cold the first time. Instead of making it fresh, it appeared they simply put the same plate under a warmer and brought it back (which is fine I suppose). It was still only lukewarm, and parts of it were cold still but my plate was hot. My son ordered a full slab of ribs with fries. His ribs were only warm, and his fries were cold. If this location is dealing with staffing shortages, that's understandable--but please communicate that to your customers so they can decide whether they're willing to wait. What isn't understandable is waiting an hour only to receive food that isn't served fresh and hot. At that point, the wait simply isn't worth it. We arrived about 1pm Saturday 4/26/24. Pretty empty, party of 8. The man who sat us seemed really hesitant about our party size and seating us. The driver, Codie took our drink orders quickly. But seemed like we had been forgotten and it took awhile to return to take our order. I had the grilled Asian salad- while it tasted good. Within about 2 hours after leaving (now about 4-5pm), I spent the rest of the evening- at least until about 11pm vomiting and dry heaving or with diarrhea. Made our evening not so wonderful. No one else got sick. No one else had a salad. If you do go- I'd just avoid the salads. read more

Wish I could rate less than star. Reservation. Didn't matter. Dozen plus empty tables. Not enough cooks. Claim they won't seat you at a table to wait. After 1/2 hour of standing we left. We had an great experience last night. Travis was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The food was hot, timely and good.

i stopped into Applebee's in Fremont with family members for lunch on Monday May 8 around 11am and we had a server named Brittany (sp)? who was very good at what she does and she represented the company very well! Courteous, knowledgeable of the menu, organized and she gave us great customer service. Management should feel very fortunate to have someone like Brittany out on the front lines giving patrons such great service! Food was excellent also. Brittany would be for us a reason to come back. Staggeringly slow service. Took 30 minutes for the wrong dish to arrive (hot wings), and another 10 for the correct dish to arrive (apple walnut chicken salad). Great when they first opened but downhill from there. Their fish and chips were great. Two years later the fish and chips were greasy batter and chips. Continued to go back there several times but the last visit was our last. I had a grilled sandwich that the grease was rancid, we had to call a water over to clean the table. I will be surprised if this Applebees is open in a year. Fortunately, we got a seat and got our meal in a timely manner, but I saw AT LEAST 10 families come in and leave in the little amount of time we were there. Our waitress was great, as well as our food. There was one other waitress that we great as well. As for the rest of the staff, they were LAZY!! At one point I saw three workers standing around chatting while there were 10-15 people waiting for a table. Applebees are closing left and right, this is why. I have always had good food and service here. I visit here frequently when I am in town for work.

Food was half way decent. What made us lose our appetite is overhearing the manager with a couple of service talk about faking a pregnancy or talking about abortion. They could of went to gossip in the kitchen or not talk about it until there were no guests. We couldn't get outta there soon enough. Out three children were there too. Worst service in November and haven't been back. Our waitresses name was lisa. It took her 20 minutes to ask what we would like to drink even though she was standing at the table right next to us that whole time talking to the men and bringing them margarita after margarita. She thought she was going to get a huge tip from them it was apparent. So then the ribs I ordered for my daughter was burnt and rock hard the manager didn't seem to care at all when she brought her a new plate and lisa is still standing behind him at the other table. Took her another 20 mins to bring us our check and I was trying to keep my unruly toddler happy. Now months later lisa the waitress had one of her friends start harassing me on my Facebook review. They used to be one of the places in town to eat. Now it's one of the worst. The last several times were disappointing. The waitresses are as awful as the food. No one had asked how the meals were. My last meal was a chicken fried steak which was cooked to perfection on one side the other side was burnt, I scraped the burnt side off. Very disappointed and poor service. About once or twice a month we come in on a sunday night with group of around ten. The hostess always acts overwhelmed and like its near closing time which it isnt snd not even that busy. But writing a review because we always order several the chips/salsa. My son asked for refill if chips and waitress snapped at us loudly "just so you know we only do one refill on chips/salsa!" We said menu says unlimited and every applebees we go to offers that. Then she quickly snapped well its our decision and each district can decide. Which makes no sense when menu we were given says that. We said we could understand if thats all we hot but we were all getting meals and drinks. She just shrugged her shoulders. We could of argued about the size of salsa cup. If we only get one refill then salsa cup should be all the same and we had few so tiny that couldnt even fit a chip in it. (As pictured) rest of food was acerage but smaller than normal portions. Friends dip was only about half full etc. Dont seem worried about keeping customers happy if what to stay in business. read more

When we walked up and a server came and opened the door for us and we were seated immediately. The waitress that we had was very nice and conversational. Our food was okay, not exceptional though. I ordered the spinach and chicken pasta and it was good for the first few bites and then became bland after awhile. The air conditioning wasn't really on so it was a little warm inside. Also, it was pretty dark in there and was hard to read the menu at first. Just little nit-picky things but the experience was alright. read more

Uh-oh -- something has changed at AppleBee's. When I go there, I expect a certain level of food, not fabulous gourmet, but quick-casual uniformity. Unfortunately, my two visits in June 6/5 and 6/24, the food was all dried out. Tried BBQ ribs, which were dry, a very small serving with very little meat on them. Next time, I tried the Fiesta Lime Chicken, which must have been left under a heat lamp because the rice and cheese were hard and dried out. They either need a new cook or management needs to look into this Waitstaff, however, was quick and attentive. read more

Told the waitress we would like our soup and salad before the main course of ribs (obviously) and they brought it all out together. They fixed it though, cooked us up a new set of ribs after we had our soup and salad, and they did not charge us for the main course. Excellent service from Manager Rydel, which we greatly appreciated and if not for him we would not even think of coming back here. This bad experience was all the fault of the waitress, she was not personable what so ever. She was like a robot who stopped at the table and hit the Play button. Other people had to tend to us because she was slacking. Overall the food was pretty good, only wish Fremont had more non-chain options. read more
