One of my favorite places when you want to ensure a great meal for the whole family. The restaurant was very busy starting dinner service. Very cool that they had mocktail samples as you walk in. It was a little loud, but nothing unexpected. The server was fantastic tonight. Such a great positive attitude...just started the meal off right. I had the Kabobs, which was awesome as usual, but did have a few not great pieces. The potato was cooked to perfection. The kids loved the kids meals. I gotta give our WAITRESS...I mean our server Angie a lot of credit. We were giving her crap (jokes, sarcasm, etc) from the moment she came to our table til the very end. But not once did she try to trade tables with another server. Haha. She was a lot of fun to interact with during our meal. Okay I had my doubts going to a more "chain" steakhouse but wow I was soo impressed by the steak quality! I got the Sirloin medium rare and it came out with the perfect amount of red and the seasoning added a nice crust to the outside! Texas Roadhouse is obviously a chain, but they have a pretty quality product from my experience. The interior is a bit like a barn style, with lots of wood and leather in the furniture and decor accents. They used to have peanuts on the ground where you'd wait for your name to be called, but I think they did away with that due to many having peanut allergies (which I totally understand). I have been to this Texas Roadhouse a few times (with friends, family, and now my spouse a couple times). Throughout that all, I basically always order the same thing to this day. We, like everyone, start with the amazing Texas Roadhouse rolls that come with the divine cinnamon butter. You absolutely have to get these at the restaurant. Do NOT get them to go! We got them to go once and they were literally just hamburger buns. Very disappointing. This was during COVID when they just had their To Go window open, but that shouldn't mean they are cutting corners on quality (because they definitely did not reduce prices). My favorite app, if we get an app, is the fried pickles. They have a thin coating and a delicious ranch for dipping. I don't usually get an app to start, because I need to save room for the rolls and my actual food LOL Anyway, my go to is the Pork Chop (under the Country Dinners), as a single chop (you can get it as two chops, but one is enough for me). The chop is juicy and tender and comes with a peppercorn sauce that is divine, so I also get extra of that on the side to make sure I have enough. You get two sides with it and I always go with the corn and the Caesar salad. They do have an expertly dressed Caesar, I must say. Each leaf is coated (not gloopily), with their delicious caesar dressing and shaved parmesan. The corn is just basic corn with some pepper, but it goes really well with the peppercorn sauce that comes with the Pork Chop. (Making my own recipes/mixes over here.) My husband usually gets the rib eye or some sort of steak there, so we usually only head that way if he's craving their steak specifically, as it has a certain smoky flavor he likes. His favorite side with it is the baked potato, with lots of sour cream and butter. Salty peppercorn sauce, cinnamon butter rolls, and sour cream and butter potatoes - you definitely don't want to come to Texas Roadhouse when you're on a diet! We arrived Sunday afternoon about 4 PM and the parking lot was full and people standing outside. It was so busy! We put our name in for a table and they told us it would be probably 5 to 15 minute wait and I thought yeah right. About 15 minutes they called our name and seated us and the server brought our drinks right away and took our order. Our salads came out right away and we're absolutely perfect. Plus they left us their yummy rolls and butter. Our steaks and baked potatoes came out and were absolute perfection. Plus they brought us more rolls and asked if we wanted to take some rolls home which I couldn't turn down. I forgot our servers name but all I have to say is he was very good. This restaurant was packed and people were still standing waiting to get in when we were leaving, but they get you in quickly somehow. We will definitely be back to this location! read more

The party of 4 that I dined with this evening at 4:25, were seated at table 324/2, with a wonderful waitress ( Brittney), who did amazing and also agreed with us that the pounding noise on the roof was unacceptable! The party I was with,thought possibly the pounding would end at 5, it continued, customers who were coming in as we were wrapping up our meal, approached the waitress and asked, I felt so frustrated for the waitresses, telling these customers they are having some outside construction done and that they are sorry for the noise, well those customers walked out with us! Number 1, when your restaurant opens at 3, construction is over until the next business day. Number 2, don't set your customers in the area of the noise, it was on the south side! Yes, managers came by the table and asked if we needed anything, how was our food, nothing mentioned about the inconvenience of all the noise, a little common sense goes a long ways. It had been a while since I had visited, since they are often too crowded. Arrived at 4:30 p.m. on a holiday Saturday and seated right away. I had forgotten how good their steaks are. Clearly a notch better than equivalents at the price point. I opted for a 16 oz New York Strip. Ordered medium and it came medium rare, but that's in the ballpark so I went with it. A superior steak and a good value. Rolls and fries were also excellent. What an odd experience...my fiancé loves Texas Roadhouse and had never been to the one in Omaha. Right from the beginning, something was weird. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty and we were the only ones waiting, it took them nearly 5 mins to decide where to put us. They wanted us to sit at the bar, but we wanted a table, which was apparently a difficult ask. My Caesar salad was absolutely swimming in dressing. However, the chicken critters were pretty tasty. My fiancé ordered the ribs, and they were all but inedible. They tasted like really dry chicken. He said they were the worst ribs he has ever had. The second star is only because the rolls with cinnamon butter were incredible, as per usual. We will not return. read more

It had been a number of years since I had been to a Texas Roadhouse. We were given a gift card for the holidays so we decided to bring my husband's grandma along for a meal. I had no idea about the ability to join their online waitlist, but I was so thankful I was looking at the menu and saw that feature. It DRAMATICALLY cut down our wait time (we waited maybe five minutes from after checking in) and I had overheard the hostess tell a gal that walked in right before us 15-25 minutes. So I would definitely do that again! The waitstaff was very friendly and immediately got a highchair for my daughter, which is always appreciated. We decided on no apps this time but I was sure glad to have the rolls and butter. Honestly, they are some of the best. I decided on one of the larger "Texas Sized" meals do that I could share with my daughter vs. getting a meal and a kids meal (it was dramatically more cost effective given the fact that toddlers are mysterious creatures in the fact you never know what or how much they will eat). We chose the "Ribs and Chicken Critters" meal (I don't love that they are called critters instead of tenders, but that's very minor. Just thinking mystery meat vs. chicken). For side I selected a house salad with honey mustard dressing and steak fries. The salad was pretty good but I do feel like the fries could've been slightly warmer and crispier. My only critique for the ribs were that there were a few bones that were pretty fatty. Overall, we were all pleased with our meals and my daughter really enjoyed the two birthday celebrations and singing from the staff. Since it had been nearly 1.5 hours since I ordered, I got in line at the outside window to check a status update on my order and they said oh it's right here! What?! Food was barely luke warm. I called and spoke to the GM who put it on me and said I maybe should've called (I did) or just gone up to the window (freezing cold out). He didn't apologize for his staff not sending a text when the food was clearly ready a while ago. He said he would refund the whole order and then he hung up on me. I have not received a refund. We considered going a few other places but the craving for the signature rolls and butter took over! I'd been to a few other locations before, but I brought a few other first-timers along. This was my first visit to Texas Roadhouse; they ended the practice of shelled peanuts on the tables during Covid, I had never been because my husband is allergic, but this time I was out with a friend. Everything was so efficient I didn't think to take photos, but my meal was very enjoyable! The server brought a basket of warm fluffy dinner rolls to the table, a lovely way to start the meal. I ordered the 12oz ribeye - never had one before - with a baked potato and salad. The salad came out first, with a little cup of extra tomatoes just as I'd asked for. I only got through a third of it when our entrees came out. My ribeye was well seasoned, hot, and medium rare as I'd requested, perfect for that thinner steak. Terrific potato, all was top-notch. It was 6:00pm on a Friday so it was pretty loud, but just the energy I wanted to start the weekend. Let me also say that the "join the waitlist" button on the website (I went to check out the menu, first visit) was super helpful; I texted when we got to the parking lot, and 5 minutes later we were passing 20 other people and seated. Thursday night 630PM pickup I had placed order on internet for 3 steak dinners at about 430PM. To go orders were ready for us at 640PM. Parking lot very crowded and regular Dine In customers had taken the To Go parking places and we had to park really far out. I'm not sure the Roadhouse could do much about these people since they knowingly took the To Go spots. Our orders were correct but it was really hard to tell whose order was whose since they didn't have names or any ID on them. Fortunately we were able to cut into them and figure out whose was probably whose. When we did this online ordering in Ft Worth 2 months ago the top of each steak container had each person's name clearly marked on it so these unmarked containers were a severe disappointment. It would have been tough to figure out who got what if we had been ordering for 12 to 16 people. Of the 3 steaks 2 were perfect and the medium was definitely a medium well. Not only was she friendly and patient, she joked around with us as well (always a plus)! COVID-19 Alert here...beware! Avoid this location at all cost. None of their cooks wear face coverings that are cooking or preparing food. What are the managers and employees thinking putting their customers at risk. Check out the pictures. You can see these cooks in the kitchen when you check in at the reception desk. When I confronted one of the cooks he laughed and said who cares. We will never go back there again. My family will tell as many people as possible about their lack of self-respect for their customers, their ignorance in adhering to the law, and poor management at this location! The hostess at the front wanted to redirect us to the bar but I insisted on getting a table. The bar only had 2 people seated and 13 empty seats. Perhaps, she was told to insist small groups to sit and the bar. The other hostess who sat us was definitely not having a fun day, scowling the whole time while seating us and not even saying anything to us, once we were seated. The rest of the visit actually picked up. Service was decent, food was just okay, and the whole place was packed with kids who just wanted to scream their heads off while their parents ignored them, while drowning their sorrows with alcohol.
