Went there to try their all you can eat wings and was nothing but a disappointment as I drove to this location from 19 miles away from their sugar land location as they were out of wings at that location but this location when i got they served us 6 hrs old wings literally I had to ask them to replace them and after 30 min wait I got 5 fresh wings that took me 5 mins to finish and then another 30 min wait to get 4 more wings as they reduce the amount of wings every time so there's no chance of you wasting . Me and my sister came in and ate at the bar. There was a small black bettle crawling on the car but other than that the bartender was super cool. Ordered a Liquid Marijuana and he looked it up to make sure he could make it, and oh man it was good asf! Whenever I come back to visit my sister I'll come visit here. Went here for lunch with some friends last week and wasn't impressed at all. The good was decent but our waitress couldn't have been any slower. Our drinks were never refilled, no one would pay attention to is. The restaurant was clean and our food was cooked fast so that's the reason I give this place three stars. Your standard Applebee's fare, not so great, but not so bad. The soup and sandwich combos are the best for lunch, they are cheap and filling. Not much to say, I am not a fan of national chain restaurants, especially these that are so commercialized. read more

It's open till 2 am, and it has a bar plus a restaurant for dining. They have sports on TV when you are in the mood to watch a ball game. Overall it's a decent 3 star restaurant. First off, you are seated and order drinks, like any other dining establishment. If you want you can head over to the bar and have a cocktail, or any other beverage if you're in the mood. Then you order an appetizer, which is what I decided to have. So I had the spicy and mild chicken tender things while waiting for my food. The ranch that came with it was good flavor and the spicy ones are the ones I would have again if I ever came to another Applebee's. It's my favorite appetizer to get by far, but I want to try some others. I had the fish and chips for my entree, which is fried fish and fries. The fish had a touch fried skin to it, but the inside was a nice taste that you would find on any fried fish. I just wish the skin would've been a little softer and not overcooked. The fries and tarter sauce were good. I love tarter sauce and would get it on just about anything. I'd try a burger next time I'm in here. This is a good restaurant / bar if you're looking for a decent dinner out with family, but I'd choose wisely on this one because I wasn't too satisfied with the skin on my fish, but the other food I had a chance to try was delicious and decent. Still I have to try other items on the menu, but this was following a night at the Rockets game with my family. I went here with my mom and our server Eddie was awesome!!! My mom ordered a half size chicken Caesar salad we all ordered various meals. All of which arrived in a timely manner and were very good. However, when our bills arrived my moms half salad was only .50c less than the full size. The manager came over and did a piss poor job of explaining the discrepancy. Long story short she purchased the full size and Eddie remade the other half of the salad for her to go. I called into place a to go order, however the person who answered the phone acted like they barely wanted to take my order. We were prefaced that our server was new, and she was incredibly sweet, however, a little less efficient than expected. Came back to ask questions about the order around 3 or 4 times, which caused a delay in the kitchen and we had finished the meal by the time our last entree was even out. We had ordered two entrees, one soup, and two appetizers, three of those items were included in the "2 for $25" deal. Two of our orders, including an entree, hadn't came after over thirty minutes of sitting and waiting, so we had decided to forgo them and get them taken off of the check. When explaining this to the server, she had brought back who I'm assuming is the big boss. He had explained, once again, that she was new and we had explained that she was not at all the issue. The massive delay between ordering and receiving the food was the issue. I hate to be the customer who says "Customers should always come first!", but in this situation, the manager had not an ounce of empathy and seemed like he couldn't care less for our problem. Can I give negative stars? Megan was our server and took forever, we ordered drinks and they never came out. We even told her three times and still nothing. We got the spinach and artichoke dip and the chips were burnt and covered in salt. The BBQ brisket tacos were discussing. We waited 30 mins for our check and she double charged us which took another 20 mins to fix. They are so desperate for 5 star ratings, they will even give you a free brownie for one. I am very disappointed in this place. Most Tuesdays I go there with my children for Kids eat Free night. Upon arrival, receptionist was nice, but the waiter sucked. First of all, I didn't even know who our waiter was because no one came by our table in a promptly manner. I was surprised because there were only two other tables with people at this time. Then this guy in passing said that he would be right with us. He came and took our order with no care in the world. (This is the exact reason why people are not tipping for their service!) He brought me my drink without a straw. My annoyance level was increasing at this point. After our food was brought out, upon eating it I noticed hair in my food. (Totally gross!) he took the plate and said that his manager would handle it. When he returned with our bill, he stated that Kids eat Free only meant one child per adult, which I knew was a totally lie because we come often on Tuesdays. This place tried to get over by trying to charge me the cost of a child's meal because by them taking off my salad my bill would have been only for the coke I drank. My wife and I visited the Mt. Pleasant, MI, Applebees on May 12 at about 1:30 PM. Your restaurant was busy and lively. We had to wait to be seated and sat at the bar and had a glass of wine while we waited. The bartender was pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed. In a very short period of time we were seated. Our waiter appeared and we ordered our meals. In additional to the meal order, I ordered an appetizer of breadsticks and marinara sauce. I also needed a second glass of wine at that time. The waiter asked if we'd like the appetizer before the salad and I told him we would. He gave us plates for the appetizer. After a while, he reappeared bringing our salads - not the appetizer and not my glass of wine. I pointed that out to him and he apologized and left. After a while, he reappeared with my glass of wine. I asked about the appetizer and he said that he didn't know what the problem was. After a while, a different employee appeared with our main courses. In order to make room on the small table top where we'd been seated, this employee removed the unused appetizer plates. After a while, our waiter appeared with our appetizer. Except that we had ordered marinara sauce and he delivered alfredo sauce. Not sure of the results if I tried to explain, I decided the food on the table would suffice. At this point we hadn't finished our salads. We finished our meals, paid our bill, and left. We were not happy with the experience and consider it unlikely (with the multitude of choices in Mt. Pleasant) that we'll return to Applebees. read more

I'm literally sitting here debating on just leaving without paying because I didn't even eat the food it was horrible and the server hasn't been seen in 20 minutes. Sat at the bar, as usual, Lash V. was great: prompt service (for myself and the other three or four folks in the bar), took my modified order without complaint and we had a good conversation about our love of Sam Adam's Octoberfest. Since I drank the first beer rather quickly I expected to wait until after my food arrived for a second, but Lash was on top of it by the time I had a finger or two left of beer. Ok so we arrived here at 6:45 pm and there was no line and the place was 1/2 empty on 12/9/17. We were told that it was going to be 15 to 20 min before we would be able to take our orders and be seated because the kitchen was behind. First time in quite awhile, started with chips and salsa. Well we received stale chips which more than likely from a bag (not hot but actually cooled chips, and looks like something from a store). So there is no reason to try the food if the chips and salsa was bad from the start! Also 3 of us tried their $1 margaritas, we left 2 of the 3 drinks untouched due to the fact it was more like iced sweet and sour with no liquor at all. It was pretty gloomy inside and the waiter was more interested in telling us how bad he felt and his headaches. Then came the total...$24 for the food plus tax of course...oh but then there's the merchant fee...then a service fee...then the delivery fee...and of course you have to tip the driver. This was perhaps one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Should've known better when we walked in and there were only a few tables if customers. Our waitress was nice and the restaurant itself was clean. The silverware was not. Literally had food stuck to it on 2 knives and two forks out of our 4 silver wear sets. But you know, just ask for clean silverware When the waitress comes back. When the waitress did come back with our drinks, there was lemon in mine which I very specifically asked her not to put any lemon in my drink. But ok.. just took it out. When our food came, they brought my daughters soup, but no spoon and they left off the dipping sauce and did not bring our 4 th order. The waitress came over after several minutes and asked us what our other order was.We told her what it was, nothing complicated, And she remarked that it should be in the kitchen waiting for her by the time she got back there. She did not come back to us for quite a while so I finally got up and went looking for someone to help us. The lady who seats people came up to me and asked me what the problem was and I explained it to her that we had made our order and have the rest of our food and have been waiting for 10 minutes for our other order. She said to go sit down and she would find our waitress to come help us. When our waitress made it over we told her what we were waiting for and she left she eventually came back telling us that she forgot to put our order in. And that she forgets things very often. You can imagine our displeasure by this point. I was so annoyed, I didn't finish my meal, we got our ticket and our waitress was telling us how to add the tip on the thing you pay at the table with. We arrived at 610 and were promptly seated. We were greeted by Antonio who asked us for our drink order. We ordered a raspberry tea, rainbow lemonade and a water. It took 5 minutes to get our drinks and then another 6 minutes for the server to come back and take our order. After ordering our food which included bourbon chicken and shrimp, a quesadilla burger and wings, it took 15 minutes to get our order. The food was hot and tasted good. The only complaint I have to far at this point is the potatoes were just a tad on the salty side. Our server kept up with our drinks and was super friendly. Also we watched him take care of other tables and he seems to be the only one who cares for the customers as other servers who we saw just stood around after people were seated. Overall I'd rate this at 3 stars and just say be weary of the lingering smoke smell coming from the bar and the semi long wait on food. read more

My granddaughter and I go to Applebee's every year for her Birthday and we both Love it! Her favorite is the grilled sandwich and fries she says they are the BEST ever! Dining at this restaurant was absolutely HORRIBLE. The only good thing about it is that we were seated quickly. The dining area was almost empty (should have been my first indicator), the host was training as a waiter due to the lack of staff. The bartender was processing food orders for the entire restaurant. Drinks brought out to our table were all melted, asked several times for glasses of ice to keep the drinks cold. Also ordered holiday margarita, never got it because bartender was running back and forth trying to process food orders. Appetizer ordered never made it to the table, host/waiter in training visited the table 5 times to confirm the order, then tried to bring out dessert items we ordered before the appetizer or main course was ever delivered to the table. ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, have never seen that level of incompetence in a restaurant in a LONG time. Recommend steering clear of this place; there are PLENTY of other restaurants in Katy with MUCH better service. I honestly don't know how this restaurant is still open. I will NEVER go back there. Host in training: if you are reading this, I would recommend going to work somewhere else where you can receive the proper training; this restaurant is definitely a poor choice for your resume. read more

I am almost too disgusted to even write this review. If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. I also wished we had read all of the bad reviews on here before we decided to eat at this Applebee's. We walked in to some alarm beeping without stopping. It sounded like a carbon monoxide detector. The host seated us and complained to us about the beeping making him crazy. How did he think we felt? We were gong to pay to eat here. The place smelled of smoke, stale beer and despair. I wanted to leave but my grandson was hungry. We waited for our server to arrive and was entertained by another server dealing with issues with two different tables. There was a total of four tables occupied in the entire place, so two complaining was not good. We ordered our food and it happened to be express lunch. Not only did it not come quickly as stated, but my food and my grandson's food came and we sat and waited for my daughter's food. Not just waiting for the server to run right back with the food...no, we waited a while. We are finally all eating and no server ever showed back up except toward the end of the meal. We mentioned our problem and were given really just the runaround of excuses. Then some sloppily dressed woman with no manager tag or uniform came and asked us if all was ok. Again we explained about the bad service, again lame excuses. She basically argued with us about why the third entree came to the table late. She offered us a small discount, but with attitude and not one single apology. If our server had ever come back, we may have had coffee and dessert and been ok if somebody at that place had said sorry, but they did not. To make it worse, a roach ran across the bathroom floor when my daughter walked in. That was the final straw. We paid and left and will never return. read more
