This review is solely on Customer service! This was the first time my husband and I came to Applebee's. The food was good, nothing spectacular but the service was awesome. Her name is Megan and she was just a little fire cracker! She is very knowledgeable of the menu and suggested some options too. We definitely shared a few laughs. On Aug 25, 2026 . My colleague and I recently had a dissatisfying dining experience. We selected the 2 for $25 meal, which included two side salads as an appetizer. The salads were unappetizing, primarily consisting of approximately thirty salad leaves. For our entrees, we chose the ribs, which incurred an additional charge and were improperly prepared. My colleague's sirloin steak was also inadequately cooked upon arrival, appearing as though it had not been grilled. Despite being returned to the kitchen, the steak remained improperly cooked. If I could get this restaurant 10 stars, I would first of all the food is OK it's Applebee's after all. You definitely get the bang for your book. However, it's all about the service and the ambience which I would give the award to this young lady named Pourche, which is a great bartender she gives this place 10 stars anywhere she goes she will make it shine. She makes a party she makes you feel good. She's your therapist. She's the best ever if I own the restaurant or I ever went to Business, I'd want her to be my number one partner. Also she had an attitude after we asked for refills after we talked to the manager. ED the manager on duty seemed more concerned with correcting us on our order placement than correcting the order. He proceeded to call me an ignorant drunk and asked us to leave. Then tried to escort me out the restaurant after I specifically said i did not want him near me.Dude seemed to have an extreme chip on his shoulder. He needs to be fired. To top it off we heard cursing and yelling from the kitchen throughout our meal. One waitress really stood out seemed to really like her job and provide excellent customer service her name was cherry. I work in a service industry so when I spend my money service is number one. It took almost an hour to get our food and our food came in different stages, I was the last to receive my food about 20 minutes after everyone else. My fries were cold. When we got our appetizers we received 2 very dirty plates the water had a very bad taste. Worst service tonight ! The lady walked us in was nice and formal. I thought she was a server ( that would have been great ) but she was at bar area, assuming she's a bartender. The lady that was supposed to be the server in our dining area, just stood at the 2 guy-table, assuming her friends of some sort, talked and talked for 15 mins straight. No service was provided, or even a greeting or water the moment we sat down. The talking went for 15 mins , for god sake we even turned our head at her, made eye contacts with the guys at that table. Ordered food for pickup. It was later at night, so one of the few places still open. I saw bad reviews, but assumed it was complaints about the service which had little relevance to me. I got to the restaurant about 7-10 minutes before the estimated pickup time, and was pleasantly surprised that it was already ready. I had a 2 minute drive back to my hotel, and by the time I got back, all of the food was cold -- not even lukewarm -- indicating the food was not hot when I left the restaurant. No utensils were in the bag. I ordered pretzel sticks (which were soggy) and they failed to include the dipping sauces. I also ordered a cup of tomato bisque -- again cold -- and the cheese (that would ordinarily be sprinkled on top of soup) was far in excess of "a sprinkle" and had instead coagulated into a large clump at the bottom of the container. The croutons (included on the side) were soggy and had no semblance of "crunch". For someone who had been traveling all day and hadn't eaten at all, I was going to be pretty easy to please, but even with my low standards, they still managed to fall below them. This place use to be so good. It was cool going to a neighborhood spot where over the years I got to know the staff/servers. At my best I'd be in there on average 3 times out of the week. It was never the best at anything but they were very good at the most important things. The people by far being their most redeeming quality. In 2024 this place sucks. My last visit with my fiancé was so bad I almost skipped out on the check because the service was so friggin slow. I practically begged a random server to take my credit card and check me out so we could leave! The food was so disappointing. When we ordered beers it took no less than 10 minutes to come to us. Hell, the first two we ordered I left my booth and picked them up from the counter because they had been sitting there for at least five minutes. I'm not an impatient person but when I see that we are one of five tables being served, that's a problem! I blame our server for that but the strange part was the shift manager. The worst service. I came in after a long day. Ready to drink and relax. I was ignored by my bartender Porche (blonde). Myself and other guests were annoyed with the service as well. Yes! I totally recommend this Restaurant. Today was our first time at this location and our server, Courtney was amazing. I was so surprised because she looks so young but she made us feel so welcome since the moment she walked to our table. She does have very good manners towards her customers. A quiet spirit but with a smile on her face in all times. She was very attentive with us, quick, and with a very good disposition to serve. Like very professional. I was very impressed on how a young lady knew how to behave and work with clients keep her sweet and quiet spirit. She must have a very good example at her house with her parents.
