Not sure why this place got so much bad beef from other reviews. I'll try to smash the reputation with some positivity from my experience. Hope my puns aren't too... cheesy. When it comes down to a simple delicious burger, you really can't go wrong with the smash burger's double patty classic. Packed full of flavor without the frills and sits heavy in your stomach (like a darn good smash burger should!). Love the rosemary seasoned fries too. Service was friendly. Tables were clean. Not much more to it! Wasn't a fan of the payment screen that asks for tip. I often find myself feeling like I'm making a moral decision in front of the cashier and from people watching behind me. "The screen will ask you a question", but in my mind "how selfish is this person and should I serve him cold fries". I ended up tipping. I went to this location on 2/24/26 and granted my order was placed correctly but not bagged correctly and when I returned to the store I asked Shilam to have my order remade and she kept putting her hand in my face while explaining to me it's not her mess up and I advised her I can not have tomatoes please have my meal remade and she stated she can scrape the tomatoes off and or I'll have to pay for a new burger . I just waited 15 minutes to be helped at the front desk to place my order, and then was me with a rude attitude and when I asked about adding grilled onions onto the new big dog special. I was met with a rude responses about how I cannot add it on there, not even as a separate side and when I continuously said, I understand the female worker continuously told me over and over that I cannot do that and would not listen to me. Got to the restaurant and noticed there was only 1 customer. So I decided to dine in. I go to the register and no one is there. I wait about 1 min and I get helped. I ordered the spicy jalapeño smash burger, scorching hot fries and a drink. Total: $20.21 Sooooo this is where the review starts. When ordered the scorching hot fries, I did not realize I was charged for the Large size instead of the Regular size. It's debatable if it's my fault for not saying regular (or laying attention), but I would assume they would put regular or ask about the size. The price difference is about 50 cents. I didn't appreciate that part. Next, I get to my seat and wait 12mins to get my order. It's a normal wait time, I believe because they aren't like other fast food burger places. I start to eat my food and the fries taste just like regular fries, just oily. So I ask the employee if I got the scorching hot fries and he said yes. And gave me a container with more sauce. The fries did not taste in any way shape or form spicy or hot. Maybe they should be called, "greasy hot fries". I do not recommend them. Anyways, the burger was very well made. The cashier was accommodating however the lady working the order pick up does not have hygiene etiquette. She got herself a drink with ice from the tea dispenser near the fountain drinks. She walked back to her station and several minutes later walked back over to the tea dispenser and opened the lid, and poured her drink back into the tea dispenser! Omg disgusting! This was the worst fast food experience I have ever encountered, the woman who took my order purposely gave me coins instead of full bills for my change to put in her tip jar. I paid for a combo and she almost let me walk out with a drink until I realized I was missing it. When I told her I paid for a drink she immediately told me "I don't get a drink." Heard the hype about this burger chain. Went on a slow Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was...pretty much empty. The cashier was nice enough, polite. Nothing came as a combo meal like in other burger joints everything had to be ordered separately driving up the cost. The restaurant was clean and neatly organized. The food? The burger in this case; Wasn't as salty as other fast food places. Still nothing to write home about. It's like a burger one can find at Shake Shack. Enjoyed the sweet potatoes fries tho. I've tried this place before and was disappointed but I thought I would give it another try today. Still disappointing. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which looks OK. Except for the bacon is half cooked. And it's a small burger for 599. I also ordered onion strings but you can see from the photo or three dollars worth of nothing. I have not eaten any out of there in that photo.... ridiculous. And a chocolate shake. One idea might be for the staff to wait till you actually come to pick your food up to make your shake. I was about 15 minutes from the time I ordered on the app to the time I picked up and my shake was sitting in the little fridge next to the checkout. It was half melted by the time I even received it. In the photos I had taken a couple sips bc it was melting I've been to other locations but I could say this one was quite disappointing ... two times now. I ordered online yesterday and still had to wait 30 minutes for my food once I got there. After asking about my order the manager kept telling me it wasn't ready yet, however she asked for my name 3 times. It seemed like she lost my order when I asked her what was taking so long. Another employee came out and was able to correct my order and gave me a free side of tenders for the wait. I'm still giving the place one star because it seemed like the manger couldn't care less about customers waiting long and had poor communication with here staff. read more

Of course when we get there the burgers we want aren't included in the offer, although the ones we wanted were a "daily special" and it wasn't specified on the coupon that those weren't included. The cashier was also not the nicest when explaining this to us. The service was bad and the workers were watching videos loud on their phones and playing around like children. We each order a triple double burger, which came out much smaller than the width of a McDonald's value burger. Although the buns were tasty, the patties looked like they had chunks taken out of them. This location is kept clean. I like their burgers over any fast food except in n out burgers. Not a big fan of the truffle oil they use in their smash fries. The classic smash burger is on the small size but with a milk shake could be the perfect size. I was hungry but know that if I get two I'll feel sick. Anyways my kids love this place and so a trip to Smash was called for. The parking lots has plenty of parking, but exiting from this lot can be a challenge because Eldridge and Brian Forest be having traffic 24/7. So since I live close to this location I'm a regular , I started going to smashburger when it originated in Colorado so I have been going for years . This location is hit or miss but mostly hits . Now I do only get one thing which is the classic smash and have occasionally gotten the fries . There have been times when I have had to re cook my burger in my air fryer, had cheese missing or had the burger made very sloppy with sauce everywhere ,but that has only been a few times . For the most part when I call to place an order it's ready within 5-7 minutes and always nice and hot ,but again that depends on who's working at that time.Overall ,I don't think this location is that bad and has gotten better since I first moved to the area . read more

The location and staff are nice but i think the food is just alright. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that had guacamole, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and a spicy mayo sauce. This was about 8 dollars, then I upgraded it to a combo which increased it another 4 dollars. My boyfriend ordered the spicy cowboy burger, and his siblings got the original smashburger. For all of our meals, it was about $50, which is pretty expensive, in my opinion. As for the meals themselves, they were alright. My sandwich was good, but it got soggy pretty quickly. Also, I wish the buns were a little bigger. For the original smashburgers, the cheese wasn't even melted. The fries were good, but once again, I think the portions should've been larger to compensate for the price. I regret not going to Whataburger for half the price. read more

This place is such a disappointment. I was craving a burger, so my husband and I stopped in to grab some food. We were going to dine in, but since it was 8pm and they closed at 9:30 we decided on take out. I ordered a regular mushroom burger, he ordered the bacon avocado burger. He asked if they had a large tater tot and the register guy said they did. At this point two other people were in line behind us and no one was ahead, meaning there should be no mix ups in the kitchen. Attached are the photos of our food: a small, greasy tot, a plain burger, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Such a disappointment after a long 14 hour day. I would give the food 6 stars if such a thing existed! I always choose the "make your own" burger, and have gotten everything from avocado, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, etc on it and am NEVER disappointed. My absolutely favorite thing here though has to be the SmashFries - I could get 3 orders of it and scarf it down like nothing else, the rosemary and garlic is just downright delicious! The service is probably a solid 4 stars, as the waiter that too my fiancé and I's order was talking to a coworker and pretty much ignored us trying to get his attention for a bit, but it wasn't anything terrible and he was quick and polite when getting our food out!
