Let me start by saying the service on our visit was fine they were not busy for a Sunday after church, this was the first afternoon in several months that me and the wife were babyless so we looked forward to our "date". We got a the sampler appetizer to start and she order the shrimp rice bowl, and I the new neighborhood burger (the endless fried shrimp and riblets were out of stock). With that, the appetizer came out missing the quesadillas and the boneless wings were ice cold. When our server brought us the quesadillas they were just cheese and pico no chicken which is sort of gross but we aren't ones to really complain. Then the main courses get to the table her food was not good in the slightest everything was cold as if it were a salad, and my dish was just disappointing. The size of the burger was laughable although it tasted mediocre I could have paid less for more and similar quality from sonic. All together we used to love to go to Applebees, but it hasn't been the same. I hate to see a good place go downhill, our bill was $50 at the end of the visit and truly that will be the last $50 I spend with the Applebees franchise. read more

The food was cold from the beginning. The chips were stale and Burt my teeth. The spinach dip was cold. The fries were cold , like they have been sitting on a counter for over 30 minutes. My sister asked them to hold the bacon on the Mac n cheese... it still had bacon. My moms pasta was COLD , why was it cold? My sister ordered a streak and it was way more rare then asked. SeemEd to me like they just threw it on there for a few second; hopefully she does not get sick. My stomach was hurting after the appetizers. In the list of me and my family wstruggling to NOT be wasteful of this food and try to eat it; We heard screams and laughs and yelling from the kitchen. Since this is our local Applebee's we keep giving them a try hoping that the last visit was just a bad day for them..... Well, here we are again, going on 40 minutes waiting for our food. The waiter just told us they are short staffed in the kitchen and it will be another five minutes or so. I guess we need to learn our lesson and realize that the management team at this restaurant is just not up to par. Haven't even gotten the food yet and already a bad experience. After being disappointed before at this location, decided to try again as we heard good things about new management, so I went with my family of 3 and a baby last weekend. The waiter and other staff were very nice, but my steak ordered Medium was burnt crispy all around the edge, and center was raw. My daughter who ordered the same thing was well done. They took mine back to cook longer, and was better 2nd time around - but still, shouldn't have to send back to get it right. My daughter just ate hers as is, very tough since well done. My son-n-laws meal was good, but he order all appetizers; and the kids meal was good. Lesson learned is Do Not Order steak. Today is Saturday, November 19, 2016. 4:30 P .M. Weather brisk/ Sunny My boyfriend and I just returned from Applebee's, located at 4789 Atlanta Highway, in Loganville, Georgia. Our dining experience was totally disappointing. Now, let's begin with the facts; We treat ourselves to a restaurant outing, at least 3 to 4 times a week. Whether, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on our work schedules. Wgen we arrived at Applebee's today, the restaurant was at approximately, 25% customer capacity. Which is great, when your hungry and don't have to wait too long to get served. Our server was Veronica P. Upon her greeting, she seemed a bit overwhelmed, or confused. My boyfriend and I picked up on that right away. We dismiss it, and took our menus. We gave her our dribk order. Coke abd a hot tea. 15 minutes later, my boyfriend commented, "How long should it take to get a glass of coke"? I said, maybe the delay is the cup of tea? Low and behold, we get our beverages. Now Chris was famished, me on the other hand, I already knew I was getting French onion soup. Easy, usually delish! And since I had that delicious serving of mac-n-cheese, earlier in the week, still had a craving for it. I said, French onion soup, and a small side of mac-n-cheese. Chris ordered a hamburger and FF. He akso git an appetizer, to hold him over until the main meal arrived. Veronica brought the appetizer, never asked if we wanted refill on our beverages. Now about 20 minutes in, Veronica comes back, with burger NO FRIES. Explains the fries are being cooked, she'll bring them out when they are ready. She gives me French onion soup, that looks like it has two human fingers in it, in place of bread, and the soup tastes God awful. In the meanwhile, Chris's burger is getting cold while he waits fir the fries. Veronica delivers a dish to me with mac and cheese that you can buy in a box, dry, and not even Kraft mac n cheese guaranteed. Still, has not asked or offered to refill our beverages. 15 minutes..no fries. I sipped a bit of the soup, laughed at the mac n cheese, never touched it! Chris us livid, asked Veronica to see a restaurant Manager. A woman approaches Chris, asked what the problem was, and I have to say, customer communication and service was not this Manager's forte'. She said, they delivered the burger without the fries to keep the burger frim getting cold. HELLO- it's not getting warmer sitting on the table. Your body language sucks! Your managerial conduct, as well as solution (none) sucks! Your huffing and puffing away from our table, all unacceptable! Veronica finally xame with a Coke refill fir Xhris, slammed it on the table and walked away. Our bill was $36.00 dollars. I do not reward bad behavior. Tip ZERO. No apology from the server, or the Manager. The food was disgusting! The customer service was diplorable, and the all around experience was unacceptable! YOU WILL NEVER GET OUR MONEY EVER AGAIN! We will never eat at your establishment, and we will tell all our friends of this experience, and they will follow suit. You'll lose them as customers as well. read more

I guess this place is a go-to for Sunday afternoon NFL football in Loganville. We were seated in the bar area which had more than a few football fans rooting for their team in a very lively manner. Now I don't mind football but it seems to me that you typically root with a little less passion and vigor in public places but these were Saints and Steelers fans so go figure. Pros: The beer was cold, the servers were nice and everyone but me was happy with their meal choices and drinks. Cons: Never offered water after the beer was gone because the bartender was too busy with the football fans drinking at the bar. Didn't bring my soup before my main dish, then they forgot so I told them to forget it and take it off the order. The brisket tacos looked so tasty in the menu photos but when they arrived it was nothing more than watered down crock pot day old brisket that was surprisingly disappointing. My family and I went for a late lunch. It took the waitress several minutes to approach the table. At this time we figured they were understaffed, which is fine I can definitely be patient. Brooke took our drink order and remembered everyone's besides our 4 year old son's strawberry lemonade. My husband had to approach her at the bar to get our son's drink. She really had zero emotion. Then once we put in our food order we didn't see our waitress for at least 35min, our waters needed refills and just when we were about to get up and leave our food came out. Nothing was hot it was just warm, my husband's steak was well done when he asked for medium rare, my sister's fajita roll up was super saugy, and my salad was fine. We finally got the bill and showed the waitress the saugy fajita roll up, Brooke rolled her eyes and said "talk to my manager". So we spoke to the manager and she said "we should have said something when we got the food".. but we couldn't get anyone's attention! This experience could have been better if we were told that they were experiencing some staffing issues and there will be longer wait times and if the two people working checked in on us other than just bringing something to our table maybe three times. read more

Pasta was brought with no bread sticks and fiesta lime chicken was a processed chicken breast with a little cheese melted on top. Waitress explained they were out of breadsticks and out of the fiesta sauce. Makes you wonder what weren't they out of back there. I really don't understand the negative reviews here this is a above typical family restaurant compared to most other Applebee's. I have lived here 4 months and have yet to have a bad experience. Not awful, not great. We come in for lunch or dinner occasionally. The classic food staples (salads, chicken, sandwiches/burgers, stir fry) are usually just fine. More often than we would like there is generally a mistake that they are quick to resolve or remove from the bill. If you are looking for the absolute worst Applebee's, then congratulations...this is it. On a Monday night they ran out of silverware when it was less than half full. How does that even happen? We were given plastic spoons. We literally came in at 6:30, and weren't able to leave until 8:30. It was clearly our fault though for, you know, ordering anything or expecting refills. Been here several times. While the food is usually good, it takes forever to get to you and the waiting staff is atrocious. Out of the occasions I've been, they have messed up my drink order each time (heaven forbid you order one of the specialty ones from the bar, those take 10-15 minutes to arrive), and last time they cooked my burger with the separator paper in it. If it wasn't for the convenience of being in the center of town, I would never consider being a repeat customer. Do not use curbside to go if you want quality food. Food was cold, shrimp was over cooked and tasted like it had been fried in oil that was overdue for changing, no sauce for shrimp, no butter or sour cream for soggy, brown, baked potato, cole slaw was hot. Meal Inedible! No utensils, no napkins.... My husband always says I over tip for curbside to go... i guess I expected the curbside to go servers to check the order before giving it to the customer. If I could give zero or negative stars I would!! For starters we walk in and the alarm is making a god awful noise because the the batteries are low. 2nd the hostess greeted us with her nose hanging out of her mask, walked us to our table to send over our waitress that is wearing her mask as a chin strap. While wearing her mask incorrectly she proceeds to get our order and bring us our food and drinks while talking over them. Our food was slightly cold and we never got the sauce we politely asked for when our food was brought to us. Then when you looked into the back what do you know other employees walking past incorrectly wearing masks as well. In all food sucked and employees probably don't even have a GED to understand the proper use of masks, or even have the common sense to at least wear the mask correctly in front of customers. read more

If I could give a half a star I would. My mother and I went to this Applebee's in Loganville about 1pm on Sunday March 1st. We ordered the chips and salsa for an appetizer with our meal. 15-20 minutes later no appetizer... and of course they brought out the appetizer with the meal... I sent the appetizer back and cordially informed them the appetizer comes out before the meal. 2 minutes later another person.. found out later it was the manager.. tried to bring me my appetizer out agin..really!! My mother's order was a grilled chicken breast.. they gave her a fork and spoon for her soup.. but no knife to cut her chicken breast with. I flagged down an employee and asked for a knife for my mom. No one returned with a knife.. waitress asked my mom if she would like some more tea.. mom said yes... never saw the waitress again until she came back asking if everything was ok.. asked to speak to the manager... well ... needless to say I will not be back to this Applebee's.. like I wrote on the receipt.. My wife and I stopped by here Sunday evening to order dinner. After sitting for 15 minutes, a waitress from the bar finally came to take our order. We ordered two dinners and two glasses of water with lemons. Another 15 minutes goes by and I walked over to the bar to inquire about the water. She replied "I will get it." I went back to table and watched the two bartenders talk and fold napkins. I counted eleven customers in the entire grill.
