I found out about this place from my favorite Beer phone app. It had been popping up a few times but we finally decided to go check it out. As we approached the place on this rainy Friday afternoon, I noticed there was a small shared parking lot up front and a sign pointing to the rear for additional parking. I was lucky enough to find a spot on the far end of the lot in front. We took the short walk over, cut through the side covered patio and entered. It was what I expected, feeling like a dark Dive Bar (in a good way). We saw a sign that said "Seat Yourself", so Wifey picked a high top close to the wall of beer taps. As I sat down a smile came across my face because of all the choices they had available. We sat there a few minutes and then our server, Alyssa, arrived with menus. She greeted us warmly and gave us a minute to look over their extensive extensive beer selection. By the time she returned we asked if they did flights. They did not, but she said we could get three samples for the table. Wifey picked two and I ordered one Three Taverns stout called Slay the Psychonut. For food; I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich with Tater Tots and Wifey ordered the Spinach Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Alyssa, quickly brought over our samples. My stout, which I realized I had before, was delicious but I decided to order the Parrish Ghost in the Machine. Wifey ordered the Bell's Oberon Eclipse wheat. As we waited for our beers and food I looked around and noticed TVs everywhere, even lined up at the bar. This place would be perfect to watch a football game. When we were cutting through the patio, before we entered, I noticed a Vegas Raiders poster board so I am not sure if this is a Raiders bar. I also noticed a room labeled "Game Room" so I had to check it out. I peeked in and it was smaller than I expected. There were only 2 people in there and the only games I saw were some electronic ones all the way in the back. I was really expecting a pool table or something. Our beers arrived and Alyssa informed me that my glass was the last in the keg, so it was free. I never heard that rule before and she also said she would swap it out for me if I didn't like it. Initially, I said I am gonna keep my free beer but as I kept drinking it, it tasted a little flat and I swapped it out for another beer from Parrish. Soon after, the food came out and looked OK. We started digging in and my sandwich was good but the tots tasted like old frozen tots and were not crunchy at all. Wifely enjoyed her Chicken Spinach sandwich and sweet potato fries. I stole one of the fries and they were not crunchy either. Overall, I enjoyed my 1st visit to Summits. The extensive beer selection and the friendly, attentive service we received from Alyssa were the highlights. Her service bumped my rating up from a 3.5 to a solid 4. We will definitely be back to try some of their other beer offerings. read more

Here for lunch! I ordered the Chicken Spinach sandwich with fries. I've had it before and it was delicious. Had it on my mind today for lunch so here I am It's very cold outside and it was very cold inside. I'm not sure if they're having issues with heating but it was a little uncomfortable. You seat yourself no hostess. I sat in my usual seat near the restroom. My server greeted me within 5 min of seating. I told her it's freezing and she agreed but didn't say why there was no heat, I proceeded to place the order bc I was on limited time. As I stated earlier I ordered the grilled chicken spinach sandwich with fries. It was delicious as always. It comes with spinach, cheese, smoked bacon, and tomatoes. Bread is fresh. Fries were popping hot There were 6 other guests there. 2 were seated at the bar. So it wasn't busy considering it was lunchtime. I did not have dessert. Had a Coke instead Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza but there is additional parking in the rear. If you're looking for good food specifically Taverns, this is a good spot. Not a trendy part of town and could easily drive by without ever considering visiting if it was not a suggestion by a friend. Classic bar, well worn wood furnishings, walls collaged with miscellaneous mayhem. Divey. Craft beer ~ extensive list 50+ taps. Great selection of styles and where they are from. Fresh tastes and happy to offer samples. Food ~ great value. Everyone in our group of 10 enjoyed all that was ordered. Bar food yes, but large portions and a bit more attention to taste. Service ~ young gal was awesome, especially friendly and was on top of taking care of us from beginning to end. Maybe the best beer list in this area, personal friendly service, and tasty food. Came to watch Sunday football. The service is cook to order and the ambiance is typical bar surrounding. The food came out cold that was the first disappointment. Waitress was very accommodating, place is nice and friendly but my Reuben was not up to par. (shredded corned beef, little or ni dressing, skimpy on sauerkraut and not on rye). Terrific food and excellent service! Destiny was wonderful and attentive. We shared the pretzel appetizer which is HUGE and delicious. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. The food was good but the server was apathetic. We had the Fish & Chips and a burger. We ordered cheese curds as an app which never came and the server never returned to check on us. After leaving chilis right down the street, after having a bad experience. Stopped here. Not only was service amazing the food was great as well. Very chill and laid back ambiance. What a great experience we had last night! Service was on point. We arrived late but was still able to order food. We started with fried cheese curds. My expectations were low being from the north. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavor of the cheese and the breading was tasty. The order came with a savory yet sweet fresh marinara. We ordered a variety of food. The nachos were huge, stacked high with goodness. The steak quesadilla was packed with meat and came with guacamole and sour cream. The portion was a great value. The blackened fish tacos were seasoned well. The only disappointment was the queso and chips. The queso was watery and bland. I would not get that again. When I went in at around 5pm the place was pretty empty therefore service was fast. It's a self seating place so just come in and sit. The place gives neighborhood bar so you can come dressed casual. I started off with their pineapple cider which was a 10/10 very sweet and not too beery. Then I had the Thai chili calamari which was pretty good 9/10 the sauce had a nice sweet heat and the calamari had a nice crunch not very oily which was good. I then had their hot garlic parm wings and California burger both get 8/10 pretty tasty wings were crispy and wet, burger cooked to perfection. Chocolate cake was 10/10. This is my 2nd time coming here. On this visit the waitress was very attentive, The food was on point. The drinks were not watered down. The atmosphere was very inviting. There was some time of trivia going on at the time. It was like 10pm so I guess that was the trivia time. My Louisiana Purchase cheeseburger and fries was amazing. I would have liked to have more fries on my plate but the burger was nice sized and juice. Summit's is something like a sports bar with a family atmosphere. Even though it was after 10 there were kids all around. No one seemed to mind that the children were kicking it like the adults. Nonetheless, I would still come back. I would not bring the children. I would try other items from the menu and I would also try some of the other drink selections. read more

Neat place with better than average bar food. The only thing we got that wasn't good were the "nachos all the way" which didn't even have cheese on them. They didn't even visually resemble nachos other than having chips. They have a huge selection of beers which is awesome. We've been there a few times and the service has always been good. The biggest issue we have with this place is that it is always extremely loud. With the patrons all trying to talk loud enough for the people at their table to hear them over the music, the combination is almost deafening if there's more than ten people in there. It's a large open floor design so there's nothing to reduce the noise. It's the sole reason why we rarely go anymore which sucks because it's only a few minutes away and we really like the place otherwise. I do recommend trying it out and seeing if you like it. read more

My lady and I went to this restaurant for afternoon chow with our 16 month old baby girl. We sat ourselves inside but wanted to sit outside. Server came eventually and allowed us to sit outside. Waited forever for our food and when food arrived we had zero napkins. Whole time, what the waitress would consider "regulars" were sitting a few tables away chain smoking cigarettes. We complained to the waitress several times referencing the sign and our baby, but they would not ask them to stop smoking. The waitress finally asked the manager to say something but the manager said that as long as the smoking was at-least 15 feet away they're not breaking the law. I said, so even tho you have a sign that reads no smoking and Ga law prohibits smoking indoors and on patios where food is being served you create a rule to not assist paying customers. The food was half cooked and the fries were terribly cold. After receiving our half cooked cold food and watching more cigarettes being lit, we decided to pack our our food, pay and leave. If we could see and smell smoke near our table, the smokers are not 15 feet away. This restaurant has truly fallen off. This place is the typical burger joint and bar/tavern. What I liked the most about this place is probably its beer selection. It's huge and perfect if you're a beer connoisseur. If you're not, the servers are so helpful with it. They explain and ask you what type of beer do you like so you can make a good choice. I tried Hop Dang Diggity (6.7%) and White Monkey (9.5%) and they were alright. We ordered chicken nachos as an appetizer and it was so big we were literally full when we got our food. I ordered lemon pepper chicken wings and they were also giant but really tasty. I enjoyed my visit and I'm panning to go back sometime in the future. This spot has been here for a minute and has def become a neighborhood favorite for a lot of locals. I've come to this place before to catch a game and BEWARE, it's a Patriots bar! (Go, Pack GO!) Nonetheless, it was their special they have every Wednesday of all-you-can-eat crab legs that had me wanting to write a review. The price for this special is $36. With that, it comes with unlimited chowder w/ corn bread (8/10), cajun seasoned french fries (9/10) and of course crab legs. I am not sure exactly what type of crab legs they were, but they were large, fresh and pretty good, I would give it an 8/10. The first round came on a small plate, but after that, the crab legs were brought out in small buckets. I came with a group of 8 and our server was able to keep those crab legs coming.
