Service was slow even though there was hardly anyone here. The atmosphere was just okay nothing special really. Food was fine but extremely pricey for being ordinary. We ate lunch there today around 1:15 pm, on a Saturday. It was deserted and now I know why. I should have checked Yelp first! The 2 stars would have told me to go somewhere else! Two in our group ordered burgers. They were pink around the edges and RAW in the middle, both burgers. So all they got for lunch was fries. No WAY we are eating raw hamburger! Have you not heard of e. Coli? I had fish and chips, which wasn't as good as Captain D's. I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

I have been making the exact same order for years, 2 for 20 it used to be, now 22$. That's fine, I understand costs are rising. I get the steaks with Cheese sticks, I guess going on 7-8 years now, to go. Suddenly, seemingly just dependent on the night, the cheese sticks are not apart of the meal deal. You can still buy them, they just don't allow them to be part of the same deal they have always been on tonight.... I say tonight because just a week ago I ordered this exact order from the same store and got it no issue. The time before, they did this crap they did tonight, which I assumed was a mistake on the stores part.. until tonight. I usually eat at our store atleast a couple times a month, min. I have been to this Applebee's many times and have had great service and food everytime! Would definitely recommend!

One of the worse meals I have ever had. Valentine's day is one of the most busiest days of the year, and they had very little to chose from on the menu, after waiting over an hour and a half for our food, had to send some of it back, the shrimp was ice cold. When we received our bill it was over $80. Unbelievable, I will never eat at this restaurant again. Could have drove 40 miles to Texas roadhouse and got a better meal and much cheaper. Actually could have got a better meal at McDonald's. This restaurant needs to be closed down. Absolutely awful! Will never ever eat there again. Customers where walking out, which is what we should have done. shame... read more

Clearly the worst experience ever. We wanted to dine for lunch at your restaurant but what a mistake. First the only positive was the professionalism of our server. A tall redheaded man with a beard. Unfortunately, the rest went downhill fast. We ordered chips and queso and the queso came out cold. after which we ordered the Chicken tortilla soup which was also sent out to us cold. We asked for hot soup and the female manager took our soup and put it in the microwave and served it with the crunchy tortilla chips melted which were all soggy changing the whole texture and presentation of the soup. Upon settling our rewarmed soup rather loudly on the table she said in a rude tone "It's hot now so be careful" We were so over the whole experience we just walked out. read more

This particular Applebees is hit or miss. Consistent service is never delivered and the food is bad one night and plain mediocre the next. Great for large groups as the menu is simple and caters to most pallets. Locals seem to enjoy the bar the best. The bar is always packed except on Sundays. Price right. Food is unimpressive. Service is severely lacking. Servers are mostly teens. As a guest don't expect much attention. Drinks will basically go flat awaiting a top off from your server. The most disturbing fact is that this location seemed to change managing teams every few months. No consistency! The trick is don't have high expectations and you won't be let down. read more

Came in on lunch when it was busy, food was amazing and fast, waitress was friendly and great service.

My Mom and I ordered the Prime Rib Dipper to share. Had to wait 40 minutes to eat. Meat was burnt, hardly no onions and hardly no meat. No cheese on sandwich. I told Waitress and she got someone. She came to table and brought cheese and said, Here you go and walked away. She did not apologize. I had to ask waitress who she was. She was the Manager. This horrible sandwich was !4.99 plus tax! Fries were not fresh! I had to go to bathroom before leaving and Manager come to my Mom and asked how was everything and she said horrible. Manager asked her what was wrong and she explained about meat being too done and sandwich was not good. Manager said that was the way they were taught to cook it. Never once apologized and walked away! This is totally unacceptable to me as a Consumer! Pathetic food and pathetic Management! read more

My daughter and I ate lunch at this location yesterday and we both got sick. Nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal cramping, and severe diarrhea. We both had chicken. She had chicken tenders and I had the fiesta lime chicken. It didn't really taste as good as usual so I'm guessing the chicken wasn't as fresh as it should have been. If my entire high school graduating class wasnt on the waiting staff I would def stop eating here. I love buffalo wings so that also compels me to keep giving them a try but the local Applebees is terrible. The bartenders rarely know the drink menu or have any experience selecting an adult beverage. When I order to go it is hit or miss. It's best to eat inside. Never order the $1 margarita unless you like margarita mix on ice. Some of the waiters know how to create a dish you like if you don't see anything you want to eat but the quality suffers at times. read more

If you want to eat your appetizers off of napkins get your food order come out wrong and not get another drink after your first than his place is for you... If not stay away!!!!! The food was ok, except there wasn't much sauce on the pasta. And they keep up with how long you're in the bathroom, which is kinda awkward and embarrassing when you have problems such as IBS or Crohns. I don't think I'll be eating here again. read more

This place has renovated. New staff constantly. They just can't get it right. The wait on a couple salads pre-made outta the fridge shouldn't take 45 minutes. Wait staff is lacking big time. 2 of 6 meals ordered was cold. Just stay away. Even with new investment........it never changed. read more

After reading the previous reviews I guess my family and our guests lucked out because everything we ordered was wonderful. We (hubby and I plus friends and sons) have eaten there a lot recently, and everything we have ordered during our frequent visits was wonderful. Perhaps Applebee's read the previous reviews and made some changes. All I know for a fact is that we were in 3 times recently, once with a large group, and everything was well seasoned, tasted great, and all of us were well satisfied with our meals and service. I have no connection nor any personal interest in Applebees, I am just a happy and satisfied customer:) read more

Service is slow. Food is generic. Drinks are not very liberal. And be careful not to have more than one drink, the staff will call the police! Not all Applebee's are this way, some are run well and have quality food and service. Regional manager should pay more attention and clean house. We ate our anniversary dinner there last night 10/19/17. They have delicious food and drinks my steak was so tender and the maple pecan mashed sweet potatoes was awesome. I also liked the green beans. Their margarita's are good too. Our waitress was great she took our order not long after we was seated and she kept checking on us. I don't know why we keep trying to get a decent meal at this AppleBees? We should know better by now. It is very frustrating to see a delicious looking picture in the menu and then be served something inedible. My husband doesnt like to complain even when things are bad, bad, bad. So its the second time I've paid for a steak at AppleBees and then gone to Ferrell's to actually eat. At Ferrell's at least you get what you expect, good service and a great burger. read more

This used to be a fine restaurant but not any more. Restaurant and bar service are both inept if not downright rude. Food is uninspired and salads such as the oriental chicken salad have become nothing but lettuce and chicken nuggets. Applebees should take its name off this one. read more

1.5 Stars: I have been looking for a good burger since moving to Kentucky. I tried this location hoping to get a decent burger and fries. My first mistake was not sitting at the bar. My second mistake was not walking out. I was sat in the bar area then about a minute later another couple was sat at the table next to me. The server was flirting with a table of guys and after 5 minutes noticed there were new tables. I actually think one of the guys pointed it out to her. She took drink orders from both tables and I ordered my meal at the same time. My iced tea came out in exactly 22 minutes followed in 56 seconds by my meal. I'm not that anal, I was looking at the time on the tv. The fries were over peppered for my taste and the burger was slightly charred. To be fair, my server was very attentive after the table of guys left. She came to the table 4 times after my meal was served. The couple next to was noticeably upset. The Guy, who waited 22 minutes for a beer ordered the second one early (smart guy). She wouldn't bring it to him until he "was low" missing the whole point of ordering early. He finished the beer and slid it across the table. A few minutes later the server brings a replacement and says "see I took care of you." Wow, late and still bragging about being on time. She did apologize for the slow service at the end and said I'd have a better experience next time. No thanks, I'll try another restaurant. read more
