My family and I have been Mug Club members for over three years across four different locations, and we've visited every TailGate taproom except one. This opinion isn't based on one bad experience, it's a pattern we've seen across the company. As Mug Club members, we've watched the value of the program decline. They advertise 20 oz pours, yet the pours often seem noticeably short. Members were invited to a Mug Club appreciation party that advertised free beer, pizza, and a free t-shirt, only to find the free beer was limited and the "free" shirts cost $20+. On an earlier visit this year, happy hour for mug clubbers was still being advertised until 5pm, but after ordering four more beers we were told happy hour had actually been changed to end at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. without any formal notice, communication to mug clubbers, nothing. We weren't informed until after we were charged full price for not 1, not 2, but 4 beers. Taken together, these experiences leave customers feeling misled rather than appreciated. The most disappointing part is the attitude toward loyal customers. Hearing "you'll be back because you're Mug Clubbers" says a lot about how ownership views the people who have supported the business for years. Loyalty feels expected rather than valued. I also have concerns about how employees are treated. TailGate advertises health insurance, yet many non-management employees reportedly aren't scheduled enough hours to qualify for those benefits. It appears that Wes (the owner) is more focused on controlling criticism and the overall narrative of the company than addressing the issues that generate it, leaving employees/managers to deal with the fallout. TailGate built its reputation on great beer, great staff, and a loyal customer base. The employees continue to deliver on that. Unfortunately, ownership's bait-and-switch approach and apparent disconnect from both customers and staff are hurting a brand that many of us genuinely want to support.

Need less to say we continued inside. I'm no sure if this is handicap assessible as we walkeeld up a lil incline to steps. When entering we were looked at in a way that was not warming. However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.

For food, he offered a choice of savory bread pudding or shepherd's pie. Got the latter and it hit the spot, but you cone there for the beer and not the food. Talked with other custard the bar, and had good, friendly conversations. Will definitely visit again if our travels bring us this way.

I expected this would be like a chicken salad but the waitress said it came hot and melty, and I was in the mood for a risk. And man did the risk pay off, this sandwich was one of my favorite things I've eaten all month! It comes hot and melty with a house made pesto, blueberry compote, fontina, and thin pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked. The panuozzo bread is almost as if you made naan out of pizza dough, and it keeps everything nicely contained without making the sandwich too bready. The flavors are unexpected but work so, SO well together - truly a work of genius. I paired it with their shake shake fries, which have an awesome seasoning (not spicy, just adds flavor) and a Diet Coke. Service was so kind and helpful, even on a busy Wednesday night. I was able to get in and out within 40 minutes, which was a win for the time crunch I was in but I still felt relaxed to eat my sandwich at my leisure. I love it the level of consistency in quality and service here after so many years - I truly always know I'm guaranteed to have a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere with helpful servers every time I come. Nice dedicated parking lot in back is just an added bonus to the overall experience here!

We exchanged pleasantries and he informed me that Wednesday is actually 1/2 pizza day.... I said SOLD and came back 2 hours later. I had a 'Detroit Style' pizza and a couple of their own IPAS. Both were very tasty but I prefer the very thin crust of the flatbread. The bar is dimly lit with nice wooden accents. Larger than it appears from the street and quite loud. We sat at the bar and order food bc we did not have time to wait to be seated. Bartender Jasmine was very nice and provided great service A lot of restaurants in the area are closed until 3/4.
