My friend and I come here once a month for their 1/2 price Appitizers and drinks. This is by far the worst visit we have had. We waiting for 20 minutes then other guests who came after us. Then we get shoved into the worst booth ever. Behind the hostess stand. Small and cold because we get the breeze everytime someone opens the door to enter or leave. Crappy service and food with sub-par quality. After taking our order for drinks and appetizers the waiter never turned up again. He did not even provide enough silverware for all. I had to send a message to him multiple times through my neighbor's waiter. The boneless wings are really salty. And do yourself a favor- don't ever order the Philly burger. I got a cold beef patty cut into two pieces served on a sub roll with mayo, unmelted cheese and coleslaw -- yuck. Don't even know why they are keeping this in the menu. This is not my type of place to eat, but once again I was dragged here and had to make the most of it to satisfy my diet. I probably only come to this Applebee's maybe once a year, and every time I come I am reminded why. On Friday around 530 I walk into the waiting area and see that there is no one waiting, cool we'll be seated right away. Wrong. After waiting a few mins someone finally comes and another girl yells, I got it and he walks away and the girl goes, ok watch your step. No, welcome at all. Passing by a few 2 seater empty booths we get sat at a 4 person booth, which is ok since it was not crowded at all. I go to sit and the table is soaking wet. The hostess says, oh the table is wet from them cleaning it, I hope you can deal with it. Really? there were 10 empty dry tables that we could have been sat at. Looking over the menu we pretty much knew what we wanted. We waited for the waiter to come, which was about 10 mins and then he asks about our drinks. He comes back to tell us that "oh did you want a pint or a bigger one cause I charged you for the bigger one". What? We weren't even asked about a size. Anyway we get the drinks and wanted to put in an order of nachos and our food, but after saying well have the nachos as an appetizer, the waiter walked away. As he came out with plates and the nachos (and 2 napkins which were definitely not enough) he asked if we want to place the order. We said yea and he then walks away again. I am in total disbelief. We eat the nachos and finally he comes back to take the order. I order a triple bacon burger, my boyfriend the tacos. I also ask for more water since we were empty. as we eat the nachos i noticed that there were maybe 10 chips on the plate and all the cheese and meat was in the middle with no chips whatsoever. I had to eat the filling with a fork because at 12 bucks for a small plate of chips, I was not wasting it. Now we have been here for over a half an hour at this point and still no water or anymore napkins, but i do see our waiter pacing back and forth from the bar to the order computer in the back. Someone else finally brings our food and I ask them for some napkins and water, since I've been without water for most of the meal. Well surprise surprise, I get my burger and it is the saddest burger I've seen. I am still not sure if i received a regular burger with one strip of bacon or just a mismatched pile of vegetables and meat. The triple bacon comes with bacon, cheddar bbq ranch and no LTO. This burger had one strip of bacon. ONE. LTO on it and mayo. I had to wipe the mayo off because I hate mayo. Also it was American cheese not cheddar and no BBQ at all. After waiting 15 mins for the waiter to show up i began eating it anyways because i was so hungry. Finally he comes back and i'm like I got the wrong burger, he says that hell get the manager. She was apologetic and pleasant but at this point we've been there over an hour and I wanted to go home, mainly to get a drink since it still never came. She offered a dessert to which my boyfriend took, although i wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. The waiter comes back to get the order and i ask for a box to put the burger in. Another 10 or 15 mins goes by and finally he looks at me with probably the meanest looking face I had and turns around and brings the box and as he turns away goes, uhh sorry about your burger. Please if you were sorry, you would have refilled the drinks, brought the napkins, shown up within 5 or 10 mins of the food coming out so i would have enough time to get a new burger or even brought the box and check in a timely fashion. Having the wrong food come out is one thing and I never hold it against the server since its probably not their mistake, but i still ended up paying for the wrong burger anyways and not eating it, but this guy was terrible from the start. And honestly for 45 dollars, I could have just went to Shoprite and bought everything and fed way more than 2 people, and actually have some water to drink. read more

Our food looked and tasted like it was made in a rush. Our wings barely had any sauce, there were no individual plates given to serve ourselves. Our entrees took 30 mins or more for two entrees. If you go, I recommend a few servers: Matt R., Mike H, Mike C, Nina, Nikki, and Matt Z. They're all excellent servers and will give you amazing serice. All are very attentative and will make sure you enjoy your visit to the fullest. Food usually comes out very well and any problems are fixed as fast as possible. Late nights for half priced appetizers are usually hell, but that's to be expected with the sheer volume of people who walk through the door all at once. Amazing bartenders, and great atmosphere too. Horrible strive in general. To start I booked a reservation and when I came they forgot. Then after they found it they kept on forgetting that we had a child. Then the woman who gave us our menus scratched her back under the shirt and went to set our table. This is absolutely unacceptable. Awful service. 35 minute wait for food, server (corbin) looked like that was that last place he wanted to be, asked for a tv to be changed (it was a a replay hockey game on the nhl network, and we wanted the mets game) and apparently that was too much of a hassle, ran out of patron. This location was the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. The service was trash along with the food. The server forgot what table ordered what our appetizers were walked to every table before it came to us. Pasta had close to zero sauce on it. Ordered drinks that never arrived and went 95% of the visit without seeing our waitress. Burger was served without topping ordered and it took 20 min to find someone to bring them. They rely on the electronic pad to do their job for them but then still expect to be tipped well. Retraining needed. Customers come to a restaurant to be server not to have to chase down employees to receive the service they are paying for. Disgrace. read more

My friends and I decided to go to this location out of convenience, what a big mistake that was. We should have gone even to Denny's would have been a better meal! I ordered the Quesadilla burger as I have had this in other restaurants and really have enjoyed it. Food was a bit slow to come out but not a big deal. My burger although was drenched in oil, so I called the manager over to complain, I was told well this is how the burger is due to the cheese and sauce they use, so I decided to opt for another burger the Bacon Cheese burger, I had to wait a little while my friends sat there and ate. The burger finally came out and this too was greasy and gross. I took the lettuce off as my son love to eat it and the amount of grease that was on it was gross. I ate half of it only cause I was so hungry but I did not even want to take the rest home. The fries were even pretty blah. The manager never even bothered to come check on me again to see if I liked this one. I had to ask our server to have her come back over. I asked the manager if they happen to use oil on the flat top to cook the burgers and her reply was. Well, we do not use a "high quality of meat", she even was pretty rude about the whole thing. Never offered to supply a comp on anything I had to argue with her to get the meal which was gross to get taken off. This is inexcusable for a burger that cost $9.99. I have gone to Mcdonalds and gotten a $1.00 burger that is not grease covered. I even got sick from the meal I had somewhat eaten, let's just say there was none of that meal left in me to throw up anymore but stomach acid. I would never go back to this location due to the poor costumer service and awful food I was served. I think this may have even tarnished me from going to any other locations as well! This is my worst experience at Applebee's, I went out there for $1 margaritas with my friend and my girlfriend and I have never been treated like a child ever in my life besides my parents obviously when I was a kid but anyways this waitress literally comes to our table stares at are I'd's for like 2 minutes for me and my friend and she questions who's driving , and at that point I'm thinking to myself this is becoming personal and she doesn't need to know but anyway neither me or my friend drove . And just spoke with manager literally not finishing review just cause I'm so disgusted with service there managers purely on waitress's side . Staff are always great. Special "Shout out" to Scott and Lori for always doing a good job. That being said, I am not happy with the recent menu changes. They got rid of the phenomenal nachos appetizer and replaced it with a more expensive version that is not as good, and is smaller. This review is from a 9/4/16 visit that I sent directly to Applebee's and have received no reply. My family and I visit this location 15 - 20 times a year. 90% of the time it is a very enjoyable experience but not this time. Our Server Bobby or Bobbie (a woman) looked like she did not want to be there. We had to ask for more silverware and then plates when the appetizers arrived. (no problem) I ordered a cheeseburger and asked for the meat on the side so that I could eat the bun, cheese, lettuce tomato and onion along with the fries and take the hamburger home. (I am a vegetarian) They served me the bun on the side. I sent it back explaining how it was supposed to be and Bobbie came back with the burger now on the side but with the cheese melted on the hamburger. At this point my family is halfway through their meals and I tell her to that I do not want it now. As she is turning away she rolls hers eyes at me. The manager (Craig Mitchill) visits my table and I tell him what happened to my order. He is sorry and wants to make me something else but it is to late now and he buys me a beer. When the bill comes I see a charge for the cheeseburger. Now I have to wait and have it fixed. I get the new bill and decide to ask to see the manager again. He is not there and had to go buy a tape measure. When I tell him everything he wants to give me a $10 voucher which I refused because I did not want anything from him now. While I was talking to him he seemed very annoyed at me for complaining. I am very disappointed with my latest dining experience. Service was awful. read more

Went for lunch, had the 2 for 20 with spinach and artichoke dip appetizer (nice and hot) my wife had chicken and I had the basket of ribs, not bad considering the price. Was just there 11/16/16. Waitress was great!!!!!!!!!!!!but on the menu does not explain very well i was charged extra cause i order steak quesadilla at 9.99. But i also ordered french onion soup 5.69. They charged me 10.69 for steak quesadilla. All cause i order something else. Plus they said i would have gotten a smaller portion of the quesadilla cause i ordered the soup. I was like what im being charged more cause i ordered 2 things instead of just the quesadilla i was really. Well i was like um no so yes they took off the extra charge and the waitress was it's my fault i should have explained it to you. I was like no it does not say anything like that on the menu. So beware of how they like to charge you extra. And buy one get one free is a crock off s!!!. They have crapy selection. And no where on the menu does it say you cant take it to go. My wife and I were provided Applebee's giftcards earlier in the year. Although our prior experience's have never been overly pleasant, we figured that we would redeem the giftcards on an otherwise mundane afternoon. Which happened to be this past Sunday. We immediately noticed that the hostess had an attitude. She was unresponsive to our question regarding the expiration of our giftcard, and rolled her eyes at our question. The table that we were seated at was sticky, but to no surprise considering the establishment. Our booth seating was also not cleaned prior to us sitting. Our server seemed pleasant while she took our order, however was completely inattentive and nowhere to be found throughout our dining experience. Not once did she visit to see if our food was okay (which it wasn't, because it's Applebee's). Throughout our meal, we could hear the dialogue between the hostess and other servers at the front which wasn't very professional. While the manager was clearly on the floor working, she obviously did not care enough to say something to them. When it came time to pay, we had no choice but to learn how to operate the sticky machines that are left at the edge of each table. As no attendant was available. While we were paying, our server finally swung by for a final appearance, while asking if we figured out how to use the device. Yea, I got it, thanks. While leaving we noticed that the restaurant smelled better outside then it did inside. read more
