I have been a regular for many many years. over 5 months ago had a incident with other customers over POLITICS. went in just recently 2/12/20 and was asked to leave they wont serve me. Service is always hit or miss. Mostly misses though. Always new waitstaff when I go but they seem to keep the same bartenders. There is always a good amount of people here but it's obviously just because of the convince of it being located in the mall. I always seem to be seated in the section appears to be one they are trying to close down for the night. At least it feels that way because I couldn't tell you how many times I've had one of the waiters feel the need to vacuum right around my table while I try to maintain a conversation with who I'm with. I probably should mention that the food quality is about as reliable as the service (hit or miss) as well. I've had cold dishes and wrong orders probably more times than I've had correct ones though. I always travel the few extra miles to the other location in town. They are always more reliable and it's less packed most nights. read more

I try to avoid chain restaurants and Applebees reminded why. The food was mediocre at best and not properly prepared. My son's food was served cold. They have "technology" at the table I assume to make service more efficient but it also has games for kids and if you use it they add $1.99 to your bill. My son just grabbed it and started playing. He did not need a pass code or a credit card. Our server was good, not great. I won't go back. Ever. The amount of money I spent there I could've easily went to some of the better food places in town where they care about their food and don't try to rip you off. read more

Have tried several of the dishes on the menu through various times at this restaurant, but none of them have ever been that good (in my opinion). I think the food used to be better, but has since gotten worse, and more expensive. Some of the staff also seem not very happy to be there. read more

My friend and I went in around lunch time during the week, and it wasn't terribly busy. It took almost an hour for us to receive our salads. The manager did come by an apologize, and also comped our appetizers; but our server hardly came by our table. We don't plan on returning. read more

Unfortunately, Applebee's has succumb to the impersonal service standard via technology "at the table." I waited a very long time, just to get a fork to eat my dinner. I'm trying to figure out how technology has somehow improved efficiency and quality. Hmmm. I told my daughter I'd never return. Went here a year ago and had terrible reults. Waited forever to be seated, food took way too long to come out and 1 in our party had their order screwed up. However all of us were given cold food. Reminded the waitress about my daughters chocolate milk 3x while our food was cooling in the back before it finally came out. That being said, gave it another shot last night. They outdid themselves again. Told it would be a 15 minute wait which turned into 50. We requested a table we could use a highchair at right away as it was my wife, myself, and 2 kids, but were offered a hightop table at the end of our wait. There were about five parties waiting to be seated none larger than four yet we counted 11 different tables open at one time. As we left, I saw two booths open in the lower level, and 3 tables for 4 open in the upper level....all bussed and ready to go. That was in addition to 5 high tops in the bar and 3-4 more tables for 2. We left and went to the food court. We'd run into a friend while there and her party of nine waited an hour+ to be seated despite the open tables everywhere. Had 1 person send a salad back 3x, for having the wrong dressing, waited forty minutes for their chips/salsa app. They were all comped $2/piece and a free salad for the girl, but 3 hours of their lives they'll never get back. We've gone to the NW Applebee's every now and then and never had an issue, no matter how busy they've been. From the front of the house to the back Apache Mall has issues. read more

Hours are listed as "open til 1:00am." We got there right before midnight and they told us the kitchen was closed for food. Whattttt? Every other time I've been here the service has been pretty awful, i.e. sitting at our table for 20 minutes before being acknowledged by our server. read more

The staff is USUALLY very knowledgeable, with the exception of a few. The bartenders are great, food is good for applebees, and they try to have fun there. 5 dollar burgers and beer on mondays. The manager Jim is a real cool guy, takes great care of the guests. read more

The service and food can be either awesome or horrible, there is no consistency. We have had very good lunches and dinners here, with great service. And on the other hand we have had some of the most awful ones as well. The majority of the staff are awesome and take pride in there job (hopefully you get one of them). We have learned that the best times to eat here is when they are slow... If they are busy, keeping walking. I will say, if you do have a bad experience they will go over and above to make it right. read more

Terrible! Food was terrible, service was Terrible! We choose to eat at Applebee's because generally it is one of my favorites from back home. We were in town visiting the Mayo clinic and stopped in on my Birthday. Our server was far too busy. My steak was horrible! Only left 1 star because I had to. The manager was very very rude. We were having a fun girls night talking and laughing and had 2 drinks and the manager said we were too loud. Super rude and walked away when confronted. Will never return to this location! read more

Went here for dinner with my family. Service was just really horrible from start to finish. Got to the table and the host had to get a towel to wipe down the table. The waitress brought us our drinks and we asked for two extra little cups of water for our little ones and never received them. They brought us our boneless wings and they were cold. I ordered a burger medium and it was almost well done and tasted cold. The water tasted like it had chlorine in it. We asked for extra napkins twice and still never received them. It was not even a busy night. Took forever to get the bill and afterwards she had the guts to tell us there is a math section on the receipt to help us figure out the tip!! Horrible service, basically no serviced provided at all !! Will not be coming here again! read more

I haven't been to Applebee's for several months, but it is always hit or miss. It does seem like every time we go something in order is screwed up. The place was empty except for a few people at the bar, however, the server brought us other peoples food (twice). We ordered burgers and only one burger made it out because the server didn't put it in the computer. But she was nice enough to bring me some chips for free since I had to wait for my burger to be cooked. It was the whiskey bacon burger and it was great! Nice waitress! It does gross me out when I see employees working at a restaurant use the bathroom and not wash their hands. (like the supervisor in the bathroom who did NOT wash her hands) yuk. My Mother and I usually go to Applebee's in Charlton, MA, and the people there were very nice. My Mother had broken her hip in July but to celebrate her going outside and took her to Applebee's. The parking lot was a mess. There were no handicap entrance and the workers inside were just staring at us and didn't lift a finger to help my Mother and I wither wheelchair. They didn't even open the door for us! The worker said they couldn't fit my Mother's wheelchair and we were refused service. I called up there headquarters in Kansas City and all they had to say was, "How many times do we have to say we're sorry. They didn't care. Yes, Applebee's is America's favorite restaurant if you are Not disabled! I suggest Boycott!' read more

Went here with friends from out of state. Was told we had to wait 15mins. We had no problem. Until people that came in behind us, and were told the same as us."they had a 15min wait" but we were left standing there while 4 groups were seated before us that came in after us. I will be contacting management and NEVER going back. And wouldn't suggested this place for anyone else. read more

Applebees is okay, but the service is abysmal. The incident in particular that makes me condemn the Apache location is as follows: I was planning a big surprise 21st birthday for my fiance and called a few days in advance to make sure they can accommodate a 21st surprise birthday. The individual said yes and made a note for the staff of that evening. I called the evening before, since it started a few hours later at 11:30 or so and NOT only did they not know what I was talking about, but they said they were not going to accommodate an individual turning 21. After a little cursing I told them I would not be going there because that was a huge blunder and then contacted Wild Bills, being the only other bar and grill restaurant fully functioning for meals that late in the evening. Not only did Wild Bills accommodate us on short notice, but they also stay open later for our group. Needless to say, I was thankful for the gesture and refer others to Wild Bills, formerly the TGI Fridays. read more

Manager is a liar and will seat people that he thinks are more profitable first even though you were there before them. We went to this Applebees on Nov. 11th and we were told we would have to wait about 10 minutes for a table. About 5 minutes into waiting a group of 24 people came in and the manager told them it would be a least 1/ 1/2 hours to seat that many. In the meantime another hostess came over to us and said our table was almost ready. 5 more minutes passed and all of a sudden that group of 24 is sitting down and we are told we will have to wait for an open table because they are now full. The manager said they had reservations. Kind of funny because they don't take reservations and apparently he didn't realize we were sitting there while he told them originally 1 1/2 hours. We also heard him tell the hostess that he didn't want to turn down that much bussiness so we will seat them first. Nice huh? Well we will never go there again and I will make sure everyone I know knows why. read more
