It's Applebee's, and while, the food was decent. The service was not great likely because there were more people than they were employees. However, the employees that are there working are awesome and their very hardest to support. The oriental chicken salad was actually pretty good. I feel like as an Eastsider I should have known better. But Applebee's Grill + Bar in Roseville attempted to play in my face last night. So me and my sister got there around 10:30 we just wanted a drink and some appetizers full hour and half before closing. When I say we waited 15-20 mins just before our waiter even acknowledged us should have been the first red flag but I wanted to try this new drink. But that's a whole different issue. My real issue is my freaking burger was RAW not medium (I asked for well done) but RAW I noticed after taking two bites. So after asking the waiter to have them make a new one a whole 40 mins later they finally brought it back out WTF someone ate off my burger. At first the manager tried to argue saying it's how they cut it because I told him hey I'm missing half a burger. I even said I don't want y'all to remake it, but I'm not paying for a full of meal. This was before I saw bite marks so I picked the burger up to show him. It wasn't a full burger since he wanted to keep saying it how they cut it when I seen the bite marks I didn't get no apology. We came in to use a coupon that was expiring. It had been so many years since we visited this location so the coupon was really the only reason we stopped by but I'm glad we did. We had a bit of a time crunch with the rest of the day we had planned, but we're seated right away and food and drinks came quickly. The server was very nice and it was on overall good experience. Came in to get my birthday dessert. Had to spend $15 to get the dessert free so I got the Shrimp and Parmesan Sirloin which came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes came PIPING HOT. That alone sets them high in my book. I hate room temperature food. The steak was expected quality for a $20 steak so that's neither here nor there. I got the $5 Long Island which was literally juice. Didn't get even a concept of a buzz but for $5, it's whatever. I got the chocolate meltdown as my dessert and it was delicious. The service was so poor. She didn't even use her note pad to write what we had down and completely forgot my moms steak and tried to convince us that we never said she wanted it. On top of that the little short manager was really rude. We had to ask two different workers for silverware one being the rude little manager who was just up at the hostess desk. The manager walked past and said I'm going to get you a server. After five minutes of waiting I had to get up from the table and go to the bar to get me and my mother a silverware set. Mind you the manager or whoever the short girl was, seemed to have an attitude as she said she would get the server. Then ten minutes later the server came out with silverware after I already got it. My moms chicken was burnt and the hostess even lied stated "she got us" on the silverware just for me to look over at the hostess bar and see her blindly staring off. So if you want attitude and poor service around a bunch of rude customers the please come on in. Especially if you want to ask for basic things like cutlery to go plates and bags to carry them in. I even heard one of the workers stating that a pregnant woman got a uncooked piece of salmon. We still tipped cause our server seemed old and my mom is really nice, just wanted a steak tonight. But yes, after her steak came out they kept giving us small containers and having random people come to our table with food and the food isn't accurate such a shame to see how bad Applebee's have gotten especially this one. read more

During this year of world-wide coronavirus pandemic, when so many businesses are closed, it was nice to be able to visit Applebee's restaurant on Veteran's Day to enjoy a complimentary meal. I first came here many years ago, and have always had excellent service. I have visited on Veteran's Day many times, and I'll have to admit, there have been a few that I missed because there wasn't any parking left in their lot. This year, I used Yelp's app to get on their wait-list and it worked out extremely well. I was able to get on the list from home, then once I arrived and checked in, there was a shirt pause before I received a message on my phone that I was ready to be seated. A special abbreviated menu was provided and I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken, a first for me. Not one to remember all the fancy ingredients, let me assure you that my meal was oh-so-nice! In years gone past, I have visited during the lunch period on Veteran's Day, enjoying the comeraderie of fellow veterans as we sat at a special communal table. I knew that this year, the pandemic rules would prohibit seating such as this. I hope Applebee's can provide this special touch in future years. This restaurant is one of my favorites. We come here once a week to have dinner together and skip the gym. We usually split the 2 for 25 and order one of the featured frozen drinks. Every month they come out with 2 new signature cocktails, we have never had one that was bad. I recommend then all. The Mr. Always get the boneless wings as our appetizer that we split. I always get the side of tortilla chips and salsa. If we are not splitting the 2 for 25 I recommend the Oriental Chicken Salad. It's to die for! You will never find a better more filling delicious salad like this anywhere else! We always sit at the bar. It's been a long time since we've been to an Applebees, it'll be a long time before we return, if ever. Maybe it was the location we chose, but the food left a lot to be desired. The riblets my husband ordered were actually cold, not warm, cold. I should've taken a picture because they were pretty gross looking as well. My fiesta lime chicken seemed like it had been sitting a while before it was brought out and the rice was dry. The service was ok. This location is a little run down and could use some remodeling. It became very busy after we arrived. Not sure what's bringing in so many people, maybe the cheap drinks? Considering the price of the food, we can get much better quality and a better atmosphere elsewhere. read more

Very slow and sporadic service. Arrived during dinner rush with a 45 minute wait; the restaurant had many empty tables. We were #1 on wait list when someone walked in off street and was seated ahead of us (based on observed interactions, apparently a friend of an employee/manager). Our party of six (w/children) were seated at a high top bar table; we were crammed in like sardines and one person could not leave table without the other 2 standing up as we were elbow to elbow (even while eating). They could have placed a few low top tables together, but that didn't happen. The hostess seemed inexperienced to handle seating. The cooks could not follow requests (i.e. no onions, no cheese) and wait staff indicated it was a continual problem. Food was standard fare (arrived hot and fresh) and wait was somewhat attentive (drink refills), friendly and personable, however table service was really sporadic (long periods of no interaction/follow-up, plates kept piling up without offer to clear them) and disappointing. I'm not sure who owns/operates this location, but if they do not properly train their wait staff and management (i.e. less conversations among coworkers and pay more attention to their patrons), they are going to go the way of their neighbor, Denny's, and seize operating and close. Too many other options in the area with better food/service. May be best to try and order carryout--but make sure your order is accurate/complete before walking out the door. read more

The last few times me and my little family came into eat we had crystal C as our server and she is amazing! If anyone know how it is to go out to eat with a 3 year old she always make sure her food comes out with our app then not even 20 minutes we get our main dish.
