I ordered the Hummus Veggie Wrap, which comes with a free side, and hubby got a Chia Banana Boost Smoothie. If you order that together, the Smoothie is discounted. The dining area was spotless and vacant so we had our choice of seating. The Smoothie was made immediately and my Wrap came out shortly after. Got a dragon fruit bowl and a Caesar wrap. Unfortunately the dragon fruit bowl was way too sweet. It tasted like artificial sweetener was added. It was to the point where after a couple bites I could not eat it any more. Also the goji berries were too hard. Not in a crunchy way, just hard like a rock. Had to pass on these in my bowl. The Caesar wrap was nothing special. I think they put too much cheese so it tasted like a cheese wrap. Chicken was not too much. Overall not the best experience or food. read more

I was traveling so I was unable to go to my favorite tropical smoothie on 21 and van dyke where they actual care to take the time to double check the order/ read special instructions. Every item on this receipt was made wrong and drenched in dressing. Tomatoes/onions were added, the wraps were so soggy from all the dressing, and we were missing a banana. We had to throw the sandwiches out they were so disgusting. Will not be returning to any tropical smoothie for a while because I no long crave my favorite wrap. First time trying this place out but I was helping a friend that had their tonsils removed. Easy online ordering and my order was available when I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup time. Employees followed covid-19 guidelines and the inside was super clean! I loved the eclectic space with bright blue and orange chairs. On 9/7/23 at 4:50pm the store was not busy (one customer only, could see through the window parked out in front). I had a curbside order since I currently have a walking issue. The female employee would not answer the phone after several tries! And the answering machine was Full. Not even after the one customer left would she answer the phone. I had to ask a lady walking by to go in and get the employee's attention for me. She could see my car! The store worker gave my food to the kind stranger, instead of bringing it out to me and she was not apologetic or caring about it at all according to the nice lady who helped me. I made a brief stop here today to fuel up between holiday events with a smoothie. While I've committed a lot of time waiting at other Tropical Smoothies, this visit was very quick and efficient. I waited in line for a short second and my smoothie was made not 3 minutes later. I was impressed with the prompt and friendly service. The quality of the smoothie was great and I had no issues with swapping dark chocolate for the standard white in my order. I appreciate the level of recipe and quality reliability between franchises. Do not go to this location, there is one up the street on Walton.This is by far the worst location i have ever been to.The manager is very rude and they like to treat customers terrible. I only have issues when he is working.I ordered online and the manager purposely did not make my order bc he saw my name before i even arrived ..he looked at me and said i didnt make it. I ordered online and I arrived at the time the order confirmation said in my email. I dont wear a mask due to health reasons,enough said.I walk in to grab my order and walk right out. He decided to make a scene.I asked for the owners phone number and he said no.If you are the owner of this location i would find a new manager that knows how to communicate without being rude and yelling at a paying customer that orders a $10 peanut paradise daily, sometimes 2x a day. Good variety of healthy smoothies, performance smoothies, and indulgent smoothies. This is close to my place of business so it's certainly convenient. I never had a bad smoothie here. They do also offer a few healthy options for sandwiches & salads. Chips and cookies are also available. Unfortunately they offer one size, and they are pretty big. It is a good value, though. They also offer many mix-ins, such as vitamins, chia seeds, etc. I joined their email club and this is my least favorite part about this store/business. They really don't offer coupons or great promotions. There is like "$1 off" every few months. That could use an improvement. More promotions = more smoothies sold = more money! I like the smoothies, and the girls who work the early morning hours are great, but for the second time in 3 to-go lunchtime sandwich orders, the restaurant used actual chicken on a thai chicken wrap that I'd subbed, and paid an up charge for, plant based chicken substitute on. For example a Cuban sandwich with no Swiss cheese melted, or a Baja Chicken bowl with a teaspoon of avocado mash. Smoothies were poorly blended. Ice chunks blocking the straw so it was very hard to drink. Smoothie did not fill the cup. I let the young guy at the front counter know I placed a pickup he pointed at the order right next to him and said "it's right here" and walked away. He wore headphones in both ears the entire time. Very unprofessional. Missing one straw. Pretty disappointed because every tropical smoothie restaurant I've been too is much better than this. This happened at about 12:30 March 31st. This location in particular is very warm and welcoming. It never seems particularly busy and there is usually someone waiting at the front to take your order. After that it does take a little long to get everything in your order, even if you are the only one in there. I usually only get a smoothie and they are always made the same and to my liking. The only thing I would recommend to all Tropical Smoothie locations is that they offered more sizes because there is one size available and sometimes it is too much and only certain kinds are available in kids sizes. But, that will not stop me from going there that is different from coffee. read more
