Came here right at open and was the first table sat, I waited 15-20 min for a server to come up to our table! I order the 3 cheese pasta and when I ordered I said no bruschetta! When my food came out it had the bruschetta on it so they took it back and I waited 10 minutes for a new one the manger is walking out and walks it to the wrong table then at the wrong table this little kid sticks his whole hand into my pasta after that they released that's not what we ordered! She then walks it over to me and asked me if i ordered this I gave her a shake on my head and she then says"i'll get you a new one since I put it on the wrong table" she then brings me a whole new one in less then 2 minutes? So you're telling me my first mess up took 10 minutes but my 3rd mess up was only 2 minutes after that she proceeded to tell me she got a free dinner on me! read more

Good has always been good when I've gone to eat there... no complaints w/service. Had a few issues w/take out orders but the Manager is quick to make things right and then some. I'd recommend as they are super busy being the only Main Corporate Restaurant other then fast food in the whole town; so they are super busy but have great service and again the Manager is quick to right any issues if any. read more

As of late the food has been horrible with a big price tag. I can't get burgers anymore because they aren't done. Now the noodles aren't ever done. The service at car side to go is okay but now on the app they automatically charge the largest tip they can after you pay. It's horrible and I'm done with Applebees. We had a late lunch here today. We had the 4-cheese Mac & cheese w/ honey pepper chicken and the 3-cheese chicken penne. We chose pretzels w/ beer cheese & boneless wings for appetizers. Our waitress (Tracy) was really great! She was attentive and refilled my husband's drink as soon as his glass was empty! Bonus points for that! Appetizers came quickly & were the perfect temperature. Those pretzels are the bomb! The boneless wings are hot, crispy, and come with celery and bleu cheese dip. Yum! Both pasta dishes were really great. Perfect combo of pasta, cheese, and chicken. A couple of miles off of I-86, this is my favourite Applebee's. They take care of you real nice here. The food: The lemonade and iced tea quenchers come with a choice of fruit at the bottom, (at this location they don't just add one piece of fruit, they add plenty). I chose the lemonade with blackberry. Refreshing and the taste combination when you've squished some of the blackberries was perfect. The taste of the Bourbon Street Chicken + Shrimp was on point, and Half ribs were finger licking, fall off the bone good! The portion sizes seemed to be bigger here, which in my case is just what appetite was looking for. Is it a Sports bar? Definitely. The layout is great for watching sports on one of the many TVs, especially at the bar. Note: You've gone to the right place when taste wise everything stands out, the portion sizes are great, and your date eats their meal without offering you a bite. read more

We were greeted and promptly seated (we declined the first offer of a tall table at a bar) in a booth toward the back of the restaurant. I ordered the loaded chicken fajitas and my husband had one of their burgers. I also ordered a $1 drink that was on sale - Vodka, Raspberry, Lemonade. It was quite refreshing and nice surprise. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot and tasty. We came here after a few bad experiences at some area restaurants and it was nice to have a meal that we knew would be at least predictable. We, my family and a neighbor, went over on 12/10/21 to get a bite to eat. We were seated at a table and seats that were wiped off and overly wet. We had to get the table and seats wiped dry before we could sit down. Then there was no menu; just a scan on the table. None of us brought our phones; had to ask for a menu. When the silverware came, we were only given a fork. No other utensils; so we had to ask. No ketchup; no salt and pepper. Waitress was nice, but overworked. She apologized for all that occurred but this is clearly a management decision doing all these cutbacks. We were very happy to find an Applebee's in Sayre. Great place, plenty of variety and quite satisfying. This location stays busy with locals as well as travelers. We didn't have to wait long for our table. We especially liked that is was quiet enough to have conversation without so much background music or noise. read more

Had John-Mark for our server. Good service and good person to ask for. Went for our anniversary and it was great! Hubby had unlimited ribs and enjoyed all his portions. I was trying to be careful with what I ate and had the shrimp wonton dinner. Both were nicely seasoned and were good size portions. I ordered the fiesta chicken suggested by the friendly server and it was delicious. My friend's steak was cooked perfectly and it was a good piece of meat. We have been to this applebees many times before and it was really good. But tonight my husband and two grandsons went there and never again! We were seated right away, but then we sat there for over 15 minutes before one of the workers walked by us and I told him we had been sitting there for over 15 minutes and no one had taken out order. Then we waited another 10 minutes before someone came over and went to the couple behind us that came in after us! The guy told the server that we were there before us and to wait on us. I thank the guy for that. But my grandsons were hungry and getting tired of sitting. Finally got out food. My steak was over cooked, potatoes were warm. We've eaten here maybe six times since they opened. Generally, the food is average and the service friendly. Tonight, a real first for me. Eating my burger at the bar and the server knocked over my glass of water spilling half of it onto my plate, soaking the remaining half of my burger and most of the fries. Hey, accidents happen, and the server apologized. What shocked me was that no effort was made to acknowledge that I'd only eaten half my meal and that the remainder was swimming in ice cubes and water. No offer to replace the food, adjust the bill, nothing. I didn't even get a replacement glass of water. The accident isn't what aggravated me since stuff happens, but poor customer service, well that's never acceptable, even at a middle of the road chain restaurant. read more

I went to this location on my birthday, looking forward to my favorite red apple sangria. The waitress came and took our drink orders, only to inform me that this location no longer serves my favorite (bummer!)I went with the peach sangria instead. She seemed kind of displaced while taking our order, which wasn't that big of deal, although it wasn't very busy in there. The peach sangria was alright, but it wasn't a good replacement for my 'staple', so I tried the bourbon and berries. That drink wasn't as good. It seemed to be missing the taste of berries all together. I didn't finish that drink, and ordered a strawberry lime margarita to finish the night off with. It was absolutely terrible. The lime flavor was so strong, it was almost like drinking straight lime juice. The food did come out pretty warm, but not as hot as usual. It would be decent quality for if it were privately owned. But since it's a chain, I would expect it to be made better. I ordered the macaroni and honey barbecue strips. The strips tasted like the ones burger King offered last summer. The mac and cheese had practically no cheese at all. It was at the bottom. Side salads have fatty bacon, not eblnough dressing.
