After going to a local doctor, we decided to stop by for lunch. Hubby had the daily special of 6 oz. Sirloin, and I chose the Bacon cheeseburger with unending fries. We switched the fries to hubby so I received the mashed potatoes from his order. Our orders were delivered quickly even though we were at the height of the lunch rush. Before leaving I needed to wash my hands. I hate walking on a tile floor and feeling the stickiness of a dirty floor. The bathroom should have been cleaner than it was. I could see the grout lines in the tile floor was dark or black and needed cleaning. Not sure if we will return. read more

I went here on Friday mostly because my mother notified me about "National Hamburger Day". I decided on this since it's been a while, and I mean YEARS, since I've been to Applebee's. The food is quite large in portion as seen by the Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich. The service is really good, I don't think I got the lady's name but she does have lots of tattoos on her arms. Which is kinda ironic since I saw a bunch of lady employees having tattoos on her bodies but I digress. She's really friendly too. The ambiance was quite packed with families considering it was graduation week. So that's to be expected on the last week of May. The place is quite good for me, I will be returning (hopefully) later on this month for the all-you-can-eat offer for $15.99. read more

Food was good, however service was extremely slow. Me and a colleague stopped in at lunch for a quick bite. We were seated, and a couple that came in just behind us were seated near by. Our server must not have known we had been seated, giving her the benefit of the doubt. Because the couple who not only got drinks but also got their order taken as well as food served before the server even came over to greet us and take our drink order. After asking the host where our server was she came over. I let her know we were there on our lunch break. I gave her our food and drink order to save time. She brought out our drinks, then when the food runner brought our lunch she came over just as he was putting our food down on the table, and asked us how does everything taste???? We all just looked at her... the plate literally was just placed in front of me. I don't know how it taste yet, I just said it looks good I'll let you know. She walked away. Then 30 minutes later I had to let the hostess know we were ready to pay since she never came back to our table. Never checked on the food, never refilled our drink. But did ask us if we needed a to go box, when there was no food on our plate? I'm hoping she was either new or having a real bad day, because if that is normal you will lose a lot of lunch patrons. Hailey was our server tonight and she was wonderful! The other servers and management, however we're not so great. while sitting at our hightop, we could hear the managers and the other servers talking in a disgusting way about our server and making her visibly upset. It seems like our server may have been new, but she was doing a fantastic job. I think the other servers and especially the management were very unprofessional with the way that they were speaking about a fellow coworker, who is supposed to be a part of their team. Hailey, if you see this, I hope you have a much better night and I hope you leave that sad excuse of a workplace. No job should EVER make you feel that way! read more

I just came in town and went to Applebee's for dinner with my sister. We had a nice time, and 80s trivia was going on. The host caught us walking in the door to play. We played two rounds and had fun while we ate. The food was decent salmon was a tad bit dry and the garlic mashed potatoes needed some butter, salt and could've been a little hot, instead of luke warm. Broccoli was good. My sister said her food was pretty good. The drinks, service, and entertainment were great. read more

DH & I stopped in for the 2 for $25 meal. We were seated right away. We ordered the Caesar Salads and we both got the chicken tenders with fries. The salad greens were fresh & crisp. Both had a generous amount of shaved Parmesan Cheese and croutons. The Chicken Tenders had a crunchy fried topping. The chicken was moist & cooked perfectly. Service is good but the food quality is terrible. I'm sure this isn't just THIS location- I always say the apps are the only good thing here. I did have a chicken and rice bowl that was pretty good but still stand by the apps are the best thing Applebees has to offer, and even still they're not amazing. Food prices are up and overpriced and still the quality is down. We ordered the top sirloin, which is basically the same price as carabbas or outback, but what we get from Applebees is something with the taste and consistency of liver. It's WILD! They are definitely not serving legit steaks and if they are, something is seriously off with them. We were on vacation in Spring Hill and wanted a quiet night at home. Decided on Applebees burgers. They have the 2 for $25 deal that includes an appetizer. Pretty good deal! And we have an Applebees at home, usually very good burgers. They do not deliver at the Spring Hill location. If you order to pick up make sure to call the restaurant and talk to a person and definitely confirm the location. We called and you get an automated service that takes your order. It was ok but didn't ask about any changes to the toppings. It told me the order would be ready in about 30 min. So I called after the order was confirmed and got a friendly young woman that assured me she would make the changes on the order. We arrived at the restaurant right on time; however we were told they never receive the order or it was sent to the wrong location? So they had to put the order in again and we had to wait. The bar area was very clean and the employees so nice. They were apologetic and said they would get it done asap. It was done in about 30 more minutes. We ordered one burger with some pink and one with no pink. When we got home to eat, (starving at this point), opened the burgers and saw both were too pink for either of us. The spinach artichoke dip saved the day, it was very good. Probably would have been better off just eating there. Seems our order was rushed and not done correctly. read more

Hostess was great, seated us promptly. 15 minutes later we saw a waitress go to a nearby table, exit and totally ignore us. I went in and requested a waitress. One came out went to the table next to ours, ignored us and again left the area. I returned to the hostess and told her the manager had less than 5 minutes to report to my table or I would call corporate. This behemoth slob of a man soaked in sweat comes out the door made some comments to his staff and attempted to exit. I explained that we had been there almost 45 minutes and he was the first employee that came to our table. We stopped by Applebee's today and decided to eat on the patio, due to the weather being so nice. So often, this is an issue with wait staff, since you can end up out of sight and out of mind. This was NOT the case today. Chasity waited on us and was absolutely perfect. She was delightful from the moment we met her. It was obvious that she knew the menu perfectly! Every now and then you find wait staff that knows what you need even before you have the chance to ask for it, Chasity is that person. The food was great and beautifully presented as always, but she was the stand out for sure. There was a blonde waitress that was extremely rude to my mother who is a 70 year old woman all because she was in her way. There was only one passage for everyone because it's too tight between the tables and booths. I was trying to let my mom know there was someone behind her to try to help the stupid waitress and the waitress just rushed through almost knocking my mom back in her seat, when I pointed out that she was being rude she said she wasn't of course..I said ur face says different. I asked for a manager and he apologized I'm just hoping they let their staff know not to treat elderly women like that. And the drinks had Long Island ice teas we both agreed that is why we stopped coming to Applebees a year ago would have perhaps gotten a little tipsy, ordering a soda their drinks are horrible. Service, food, promptness and drinks all earn a 5 star rating. We spoke to the manager and he is on top of his game. He treats employees right and as a result, low turnover. We were seated quickly, ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Food took over an hour, the steak was cold and raw in the middle, had the consistency of a rubber band. This place has gone downhill over the past few years. Mostly just recently. This last time we were sat immediately and waited about 15 minutes for someone to come to the table. After all that time we were ready to order our drinks and food. The girl took our drink order and immediately ran off. She brought the kids drinks in about 10 minutes later showed up with the wrong adult drinks. Took her a few minutes to figure out they don't even have our drink. She said hers was ok but my steak and chicken taste god awful. I was a meat Mgr for Kash n Karry for 25 years that was not choice or even good graded. The meat taste like it was from Mexico and I know the difference for the price of those steaks was a rip off maybe you should go see what they are serving because I know meat.
