Garbage food and garbage service. Just wasted 45.00 and an hour and half that I will never get back. Ordered Fiesta chicken chopped salad. Wrong lettuce,not chopped and no dressing. Rather than send it back (had sent hamburger back already ) I asked if he could bring me the dressing on the side. Fifteen minutes later waiter comes back. You would think if the entree was wrong you would make sure you took care of problems immediately. Sick and tired of the lackluster effort given by people in the restaurant industry on this side of town. News flash, I'm doing you a favor by visiting your establishment not the other way around. If you enjoy very loud music (hip hop and R&B) playing over the sound of televisions and over the sound of everyone almost yelling to be heard at their table then you will love this place. My husband and I couldn't have a dinner conversation due to the noise level and even the server had problems taking our order. At the table next to us, the manager could not hear the couple trying to make a complaint and even pointed to the speakers to say it was loud but never turned it down. This pretty much ruined the experience for us and we will not go back. The service was good and the food was "OK" - not the best, not the worst. The kitchen was fairly slow. read more

So we went here on a whim bc we were in the area for an appointment, we live near Peachtree city. Hadn't eaten at an Applebee's in years and our kids had never eaten there, so we were pretty excited to go. We pulled up at 12:40 and the doors were locked with a sign on the door saying they were opening 2 hours late- no reason or explanation given, not even a date, so we didn't even know if that note was for today. The manager (I'm assuming it was a manager bc of how he was dressed, but we didn't know for sure) saw us and cane to open the door to let us in. He explained that they had "plumbing issues" and didn't have water earlier, but that it was fixed now. So we were the first customers in the door. As we walked in, the bartender was wearing his headphones and listening to music, which I found a little unprofessional, but we weren't sitting at the bar, so I just wrote it off. We walked past a girl (which ended up being our waitress) and she was standing there in the middle of the restaurant buttoning up her employee shirt and her belly was exposed as we walked past. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. Especially when she was 15 feet from the women's restroom and they had been closed for 2 hours previous to our arrival. We sat down and waited and waited for the host to bring kids menus. They never came, so the server just listed the what was on it so we could at least order. We were told that the manager was printing the kids menus bc they were out, which I think was a lie bc the manager and host were just standing at the bar chatting. But the real issue for me was after we ordered, I took the kids to wash their hands in the women's restroom and it smelled foul. I've worked in the restaurant industry as a server for over 15 years previously and to me, it smelled like they used an old mop and mop water- like a moldy/mildew smell, but way more overpowering. This was a red flag for me, along with the fact that they were closed for "plumbing issues", so it prompted me to look up reviews in yelp. The second one in showed a cockroach in someone's salad, and I've had food poising in the past and would not want to ever have that again, plus I ordered a salad! We made up some excuse that we had an emergency and had to leave. We did offer to pay for our drinks, but the server said she would just get the manager to take care of it. She was at least nice. Be careful eating here, especially since a lot of the previous reviews contain encounters with bugs and undercooked food. I'm shocked that health grades gave this place an "A". This Applebee's is a good choice if you like this genre of food. The location and parking are easy access from I-75. It is clean and well staffed. A sure sign of good management is that on this Veterans Day Comp Meal service, the host ASKED if we would mind sharing a table--not a requirement. This sped up service for everyone and made it easier on the staff. The door had been held open for us to enter and leave on this cool weather day. We had the Fiesta Lime Chicken which is a sautéed breast with a southwestern sauce top and covered in cheddar jack cheese. It was served with southwestern rice which was tasty and cooked just right with kernels separating and not mushy or sticky. Accompanying was a lime wedge, pico de gallo and tiny colored tortilla strips. All in all a good choice as we have eaten this several times before across the US; it has always been consistent from one to another of the chain. Our server Sharonda was very pleasant and professional. We shared a table with a couple that was rather demanding. The servers' attitude was great and accommodating and did not suffer any ill when one of the ladies wanted another vegetable choice after the food arrived (she actually received two more fresh sides because she told the runner and the server she didn't like the first menu item given--she was charged for neither). The 20 something irregular customer also did not like her food touching anything on the plate and thought the free steak was too small, but her friend got her to "get over it". The steak customer did not complain about the way it was cooked, so it seemed to have been satisfied as she ended up taking the leftovers home and even ordered dessert. The other customer (non-comp) had baby back ribs and the plate was cleaned. Sharonda keep up with fantastic service in the busy dining hour and met and exceeded everyone's demands. She was a true professional that I would have love to have in my own Café. The iced tea was good but my wife said the coffee was not fresh--the only complaint, typical but not acceptable in the mid afternoon hour. Always ask for fresh--most servers will start a new pot. Received an email that Monday is $5 burger night, so four of us decided it was a cheap night out. We got what we paid for ... Food and service were adequate, but nothing to brag about. Went here for dinner as we were staying a night in Stockbridge on our way to Florida. We were seated immediately & quickly greeted by our very friendly waitress & placed drink orders - a glass of wine & vodka on the rocks with a couple of olives. Took a while to get them, but gave them a break because it was a busy night. My husband's vodka came in a glass, just vodka - no ice, no olives. We were told they don't carry olives?? Took a while for waitress to bring a cup with some ice cubes plus a bowl of lemons & limes - guess that was supposed to be a substitute for the olives? When our meals were delivered we had to ask for silverware and napkins - twice. We were only given forks the first time but my husband needed a knife to cut the meat he ordered. Our meals were OK. I went to use the restroom before we left & found it filthy. The first stall I tried was out of toilet paper. The trash can by the sink was overflowing & there were no paper towels in either of the two dispensers. A loose roll of towels was sitting on the counter in a puddle of water. It appeared it had been hours since any employee had checked the restroom. read more

This is hands down the WORST apple bees in the world. This store seems to be staffed with disrespectful and unorganized people who only need a check . The customer service is down the toilet and the drinks are even worst . I have reached out to franchise own a number of times and he or she has failed to return any of my phone calls . I'm not sure how this place is still open/generating revenue with such poor staff. Don't waste your money. Go next door to Taco Mac atleast they have good customer service ! read more

The restaurant was founded in 1980 and even back then business was booming, after visiting Applebee's for the first time guests fall in love with their variety of choices on the menu and the amazing deals. Applebee's signature dishes range from pasta to seafood to chicken to burgers to salads, they even provide dishes under 630 calories for those who prefer to eat healthier. Not only does Applebee's have good food, they have impressive deals. The 2 for 20 or 2 for 25 offers 2 salads or 1 appetizer along with two full-size entrees you can choose from their deals side of the menu. My personal favorite to order is the tender shrimp 'n' parmesan sirloin, with fried red potatoes, shredded parmesan cheese, sprinkled with bacon bits, creamy four cheese mac and cheese with bacon and a refreshing mango ice tea. Although the sirloin was a bit on the chewy side and the ice tea tasted a bit watered down, over all I had a really good time. This place is filthy! Within a months time, I came here 3 times while on business trips in June. The first time I immediately notice how dirty the carpets were. I'm not talking foot traffic dirt, I'm talking food, crumbs, napkins, etc. The womens rest rooms were equally dirty. No tissue and paper towels overflowing the trash. But it was lunch time and busy, so I was able to dismiss it. The 2nd time, I went alone, so I sat at the table in the bar area. It was around 9 pm, good crowd for the time but not overly busy. For 15 minutes, I sat waiting to at least order a drink while watching 3 staff members talking/laughing near the kitchen entrance. 1 or 2 of them occasionally looked my way but didn't bother to acknowledge me. Meanwhile, I'm noticing how dirty the floors are at my table and around bar area in general. Finally one of the people I had been watching came and took my order. 3rd and last time, I went for dinner. After dinner I wanted to wash my hands. This time, I had to walk to the opposite side of the restaurant to get to the restroom. Passing the entrance to the kitchen, pass the bar, and all the way debris on the floors. Then, just before the restroom, I got a glimpse of inside another entrance to the kitchen, literally, piles of food, on the floors along the counters. It was sickening to think I just ate there. Came in to place a to go order and have a drink while I wait. It took my server 10 mins to get to me. Then he took my drink order and walked off without leaving a menu. It took another 5 minutes to find him and ask for a menu. Another 5 minutes for him to bring my menu. I ordered 3 to go meals, so now he's checking on me and saying my food will be up shortly. 45 minutes later my food comes out. I ordered the crispy brew house chicken for myself. I checked the order and noticed It was missing the cheese. Asked the server, he went to get it and then comes back and says it doesn't come with cheese. The menu states it did. So now he looks at a menu to confirm. As long as I waited, even if it didn't come with cheese, why argue it. While waiting, I checked the food temps, and all 3 meals were ice cold. I told him I don't want them they're all cold. I wish there was a half a star button. I'm not a person to leave a bad review. But I will not return to this establishment!!!! read more

Recently moved to stockbridge and stopped in for dinner one night... NEVER again... they were moderately crowded but not to capacity. Our server was friendly.. when we saw him. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks and another 20 each time we requested a refill. We waited a full hour and a half for our food and maybe say our server 3 times in this time frame. Food arrived cold.. not warm.. cold. Not normally one to complain but this time I did. We had been here an hour and a half with a growing more Nd more restless toddler and receive cold food? Another 20 minutes and the food was returned hot and the manager did apologize and although the food was decent it was by far not worth the wait and hassle. A $12 steak that took nearly 2 hours and had to be warmed, not worth the money. Normally waits don't bother me, I don't dine in if I don't have time but this was rediculous and it seemed to be the norm here. Was pointless to request a drink refill because you wouldn't get it, and the wait staff seemed to be moving in slow motion, i didn't even feel like they were trying to keep up. By the time we left the restaurant was over half empty and it still took several minutes to get our check and several more to get our change. Never again. read more

My husband and I wanted to go out on a Friday night and have a couple of beers after a hard week of work. We came to applebees and sat down at the bar the waitress at the bar was nice we ordered our drinks and she gave us the menu. My husband and I ordered off the 2 for 20 I ordered the ribletes she then told me that they are getting rid of that item do I want something else right next to the 2 for 20 was the 2 for 25 there were a half rack of ribs on it I ask can I substitute that. She said let me ask my manager she came back and said you can but it's 2.50 more. I asked why the ribletes were taken off the menu there wasn't anything to take its place like ribs. I asked her could I talk to him myself. The manager came over his name was Carlos Ortega-cruz we asked him why this could not be done since there wasn't a sticker over the item or I wasn't told before I ordered. Carlos told us flatly it's 2.50 if I want to substitute or pick another item on the 2 for 20 I told him that's not fair for me as the customer he said well that's what the price is he can't do anything. My husband told him give us the chk for our drinks he said fine. He was letting us walk put over 2.50. we asked for his name and I called applebees home office while I sat there told them everything that happen. The representative said they should had a sticker over the item and they told all manahers to put tge stickers on the item so this would not happen. He then apologized aswell and said someone would get in touch with me. We left went to Red lobster and it was wonderful drinks and food spent 90.00. Thursday the following week a Chris Langeroy director of applebees called I told him what happened he apologized said that Carlos no longer works there for not just my complaint but for others and that he would send me something in the mail to keep my business he agreed with me and kept apologizong.That was three weeks again I will not beg for free bees because I don't need it i now know applebees from the top to the bottom does not care about their customers and I will not be going back and I will definitely let EVERYONE I know and don't know about applebees customer care practices. read more
