Horrible service!!! Took at least 45 minutes to get our meals (6 of us). Every one around us that arrived after us was served before us (at least 3 tables with 4+ people). Where do I begin... The vodka and diet...had no vodka....The 2 orders of BBQ brisket tacos, the flour tortillas were hard shells! The bunless whiskey bacon burger....was just meat and 2 slices of lettuce....no bacon. ...no BBQ...no crispy onions and the Patty was burned!!! 2nd time we came and 2nd bad experience. Will not come back for a third time. After being seated for 30 minutes the waitress came to ask for drinks. We ordered food for 5 us. An hr later meals showed but were cold and only 4 of the 5 meals were served they forgot and never made the 5th. Waitress never came back. Despite some reviews we ordered take out. And we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and tastiness of the food.

Another long night here. Waited for a long time to place our order, then waited forever to get part of it. The staff was congregated at the end of the bar engaged in a never-ending animated conversation among themselves while food was getting cold in the kitchen and customers was waiting for their checks and refills. The staff was indifferent to the waiting customers on a level I've not seen before even here, and this is not the first time we have experienced poor service here by any stretch. While the food is decent, the service ruins the experience. Every time I have been there, the service sucks. They are extremely slow and the servers walk by without eye contact and there are even moments with no servers to be seen. At the moment, we are waiting for our server to come and pick up our credit card so we can pay. We have been waiting for about 20 minutes and it took about 30 to get our check. This was a let down from the beginning. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait 30 minutes later we were seated. People waiting standing room only with 7 to 10 tables or booths open the whole time we were there. Food was cold by the time we were served, I was tired and hungry after several hours traveling so I just finished my food and left. I should have kept driving. Although the servers were trying to be helpful, they were not. I had to wait 15 minutes for a refill and still didn't get my refill until my food came. The food was ok but as many waiters and waitresses that were on the shift, on a Sunday night. We should have gotten much better service. I honestly think that the food could have been better but my burger was slightly soggy. Maybe it's the city we were in, cause I've had better experiences at other locations. I'm disappointed to write this I read the reviews and they were all talking about how late the food came and how the food is not fresh. Victoria our waiter is very kind and nice she did the best she could. So 5 stars on her. The cooks 1 star, food took over 1 hour , food was not fresh at all , and they gave us the wrong food twice. We were seated quickly for a large party. One end of the table (5 people) got their food after an hour, 3 others 20 min after that, the last person at the table waited almost 2 hours for a burger!! Below average in all regards. This Applebee's is sadly in line with this chain restaurants reputation of sub par food for the masses at cheap prices. Server was very nice and attentive, decor was to be expected, and cleanliness was average to include the bathrooms. This place has that unique foul smell about it that is far too familiar with chain eateries such as IHOP, Shoneys, Dennys, and anything with a cheap buffet. Let's just say it's not pleasant and is likely from soiled carpet and floor mats. The lunch menu appears to offer many choices but is confusing and overly complex. The food itself was delivered as ordered, yet salads were straight from the costco industrial sized pre-made salad bags. My oriental chicken salad was the standard mixed cabbage salad from costco with some crispy noodles and sliced almonds tossed on top. It was also wilted, dry, and unwashed; nice job Applebee's. My tortilla soup was lacking actually tortillas, was chicken soup from can instead with some chopped jalapeno peppers thrown on top, and watered down. My bread stick was still partially frozen and hard as a rock. I have had worse but have decided this is my last trip to Applebee's. Sorry but not even worth a second chance. read more

Didn't think too much of it as some parents think not supervising their own children in a public place is acceptable (I don't agree) but when MY server came up to the table HOLDING this little girl I was beyond shocked!!! She asked if we needed anything- I asked for water and asked if the little girl was hers.... She said..... Get ready for it..... "Oh no, she's not mine... She's my managers. So for the rest of the dining experience I watched several more servers and the hostess pick up this snot nosed toddler who was toodling and falling all over the floor, and I'm sure -without-stopping to correctly wash their hands before dropping my water your food etc off to tables. DISGUSTING. I wonder how corporate is going to like the next email I'll be sending.... Or wait maybe it should be to the county health department??? Manager should be FIRED. Before I give a review I usually give the place a good time to convince me that it can get better but this time I just couldn't. Every thing from wating for a table to just getting a check took forever. Even the service was all over the place. Our waiter Laura C. took wrong orders, gives out food first before drinks to some and we had to remind her to take our plates after we were finished. There was just too much wrong going on. I like taking my lunches around 11-ish, for many reasons, including beating the chaotic, noontime lunch crowd one typically finds at most eating establishments. Being that Applebee's is well, Applebee's, I felt that this place was no exception. So I get there at around 1115 and notice the place had been open for only 15 minutes, and so naturally the place was rather desolate. I come in and am seated right away. I immediately notice the lack of server presence, my observation lasts for about 15 minutes before a lady who I presume to be a server (she DID have an apron and a name tag? Was her name FLO, by chance?) noticed me with a weird look on her face. She proceeds to come my way when I get up to leave. Told her how long I waited before I left. No hard feelings, she was nice, but this is another reason why this place is so poorly reviewed. Get your shit together APPLEBEE'S!! Working stiffs like me have things to see and people to do -AHEM- I mean, people to see and things to do... if you have a valid excuse for not being at your post (i.e. taking a crap, morning sickness) then at least delegate someone else to take over! On 3/31/19 I had placed a carside-to-go order for my wife and I, She arrived 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, After some time an employee came out to take her name, 5 or so minutes passes and he comes out and takes her name again and goes back inside. For the third time he again asks the name of my wife and goes back inside. Having waited almost 45 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time She decides to ask what is going on, She is told that In-house guest orders take priority and she would need to continue to wait with no estimate as to how long. She waits another 10 minutes before the employee again appears and asks her name and what the sides were on the order. She cancelled the order After being told that the delay was caused by orders not appearing on there monitors (what was it, In-house orders take priority or technical difficulties? The employee was not able to provide refund and a manager had to be contacted. This was a very frustrating experience as she was only trying to pickup a steak dinner for the celebration of my(her husbands) 30th birthday. read more

If I weren't desperate for office work lunch options, I would not return. The Car-side drop off is a joke, as is the online ordering ... or even phone ordering. I ordered at 11:35 and was told to arrive at 11:50. This was for a half-salad and a small soup. I arrived after what I assumed was more than enough time to ladle pre-made soup and throw salad ingredients on top of some lettuce. Sat in my car for about 5-6 minutes waiting for the so-called "car-side delivery," got annoyed, called inside to ask what I should do given that no one had showed up, waited some more. Went inside and started giving them shit until I was finally handed the food at about 12:03. I'm on a f'ing timed lunch break, which is what I thought these stupid combos are for in the first place. This is not the first time the service has been so slow it's wasted my lunch. I think I've given it three additional tries with the exact same results. I know the definition of insanity, and I'm done now, I assure you. It takes FOREVER! Don't provide a time for someone to arrive if it is going to take upwards of 30+ minutes to make a half salad. Whatever you do, please just don't go if you require your food in ANY sort of reasonable time frame. I have to say. Worst birthday dinner ever. We waited a full forty minutes, before my boyfriend walked up to the desk and requested a server finally come to our table. Our waitress was extremely unfriendly, and did not apologize for the wait, nor did she care. W then waited fifteen minutes before we finally got our DRINKS! Our food arrived only slightly warm and the chicken in the penned pasta was dry and the. Chicken strips tasted old. The UPSIDE to our whole experience was the manager, Trevor. I was very upset at the whole ordeal, and was ready to give up. I told him how our meal had gone, the wait, the waitress, and everything in-between. He was very sincerely upset that my birthday was ruined. He comped our meal, and even gave us gift cards to return to try again with this restaurant.
