We went to Churchill & Beers on a Saturday night with a party of 7. They were able to make us a table in the back. The restaurant is kind of a like a combination diner and sports bar. There were TVs everywhere and they were showing hockey, baseball, and basketball. For the food, I really enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Salad. It was nicely seared on the outside while still being raw on the inside. The greens with sliced ginger and dressing bring it all together. Mozzarella Sticks come with 4 large pieces. If you eat them while they're hot, you can get a pretty awesome cheese pull. These were served with marinara sauce and the appetizer was tasty. My son ordered a Chicken Pesto pizza that I was able to issue a dad tax on. I thought the pizza was solid, not spectacular. A nice chill place to hang out and watch a game. read more

Lots of TVs and folks watching baseball games when we there, British brew pub vibes. We were immediately tended to even though one gentleman was taking care of everyone. At least 15 parties, but this gentleman was on it, filling everyone's drinks, asking for next round of alcoholic drinks, serving food, bussing tables! Fish and chips - fish was cut into smaller bite size portions rather than entire fillets (mixed opinion). It tasted good, well seasoned and crispy. Chips are the real deal -medium cut, lightly battered (Black country style), crispy, well seasoned with paprika mix. These tend to stay crisp for a long time thus providing nice accompaniment with multiple rounds of drinks. Welcoming local casual bar/restaurant... We came 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, and, instead of the usual reluctance you can find near closing time at some places, we were told they would be happy to make our food. The bartender was really friendly and nice and so were the other customers. The cooks were on top of things and got our order exactly right. The kitchen looked very tidy and clean. The staff were super welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. The vibe is funky and fun with cool decor celebrating all the Bay Area teams -- SF 49ers, SF Giants, and Golden State Warriors -- so it feels very local and laid-back. Food-wise, everything we ordered was delicious. The Western Burger was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The chili and cornbread were standout -- all meat chili (no beans!) with great seasoning, and the cornbread was moist and just a little sweet. Always have such a good experience here! Been here a couple of times and no complaints. From the food to the service, everything is always very good! I've tried their Caesar, chicken strips and fries. No complaints! Their quesadilla and nachos are also very good! We recently ordered their wings with all dressings on the side, so good! Parking can be a bit limited, but we've never had any trouble. The service has always been amazing! Went with a pretty big party once and were seated and helped immediately. Went to Churchill and Beers for the first time a couple days ago, the food was very good, wood fired pizza had a nice taste to it with a sauce that tasted good. Very cheesy and everything was fresh. The service was great, our server was the perfect balance of attentive but not over doing it. The place is really clean and well laid out with a bar and nice tables and booths. I do wish the volume on the music was lower, and there were some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity that were jarring, but that is my only complaint. We will definitely go back to check out some of the other items, the fries were very good, and we look forward to trying some other stuff as well. read more

I hate leaving 1-star reviews. It usually means the business went above and beyond to earn it. My burger was COLD. The fries on two orders were also cold. It looks like the food sat out while the rest of our order was being prepared. Sandwich had onions despite asking for no onions. Yes, you can manually remove the onions but it does leave a residual onion taste. Our order took over an hour while the restaurant & bar weren't even half full. I ordered at 5:20 PM (before dinner peak) and ordered standard items (burger, sandwhich, pepperoni pizza) with an ETA of 30 mins. I got there exactly at the ETA and waited another 35 minutes. If the wait was this delayed before dinner peak, imagine the wait during peak. At least update your Door Dash ETA to show 1+ hour wait time to be transparent I had a similar long wait time my previous visit (also shortly after 5pm on a weekday before dinner peak) when I ordered in person for takeout. My friend and I were working in the area craving some pizza. There was no little Cesar's in the area and this spot was the closest to us that had pizza. We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and some garlic twists. Boy were they good! The sauce was amazing not too sweet or salty. The pizza was my favorite!
