Let me explain : This place was super packed and noisy .. Our waiter was Shawn and he never introduced himself got his name from his name tag , but he act like he didn't have time to answer any questions? There special all you can eat $15.99 includes your choice of boneless chicken, shrimp, riblets, with fries and cole slaw... my husband order the shrimp. The first time his meal came out with 10 shrimp only ? and the Cole slaw was the size of a 1/4 cup why was everything so little ? and fries not much you get more at McDonald's ... I ordered bourbon steak 6 oz with mashed potatoes medium rare.. where's the beef? Or should I say chicken and shrimp? well my steak came out well done no seasoning .. no bourbon taste and one dollop of mash potatoes... I couldn't cut my steak with a knife it was so hard I did manage to get a piece off the steak and not cooked the way I asked and I couldn't chew it ... I asked the waiter to remake my steak and I did wait 15 minutes and while I'm waiting my husband ordered boneless chicken which was included in his meal 5 pieces came out? The size of nugget? WTH ‍ I thought this was unlimited all you can eat ? Not True!! It's like they are limiting you how much you can eat ? It's not unlimited at all false advertising!! later my steak was in front of me I kid you not I couldn't cut into it again and the steak was so bland no seasonings again , no bourbon sauce again ? Fixed the broken front door finally Place was not crowded and We walked in around 3 pm and had to wait. No one at the counter to greet us or seat us. This what happens when you don't read reviews. It's all on me, but for the record, here is my experience. It's been a long day so I just want to eat dinner and go to my hotel. Ok, so I'm seated pretty quickly but there is some confusion between the hostess and wait staff as to which tables are available. After a resolution I'm seated. My drink, unsweetened iced tea with Splenda. Yes I know. Yea comes with two Splenda packets. I place my order: Bourbon Steak, medium heat. Waiter is a little confused. He points to the chicken parm on the menu. After I straighten this out he's off. Quite a bit of time goes by which I should have used to read previous reviews. My meal finally comes. First, I've had their Bourbon Steak before and this is not it. Next, medium heat? More like well done. But before I cut in I ask for steak sauce. It's a no show so I start eating to find the well done piece of meat on my plate. Finally my waiter returns to ask how everything is. My first question is "what happened to the steak sauce? Then I explain the well done again medium heat. No response at all. Please bring my bill, thank you. I'm in this area a few times a year but don't expect to see me here. Applebee's is the go-to when you want to dine on a budget! Believe it or not, I have only been here a couple of times. Although I've only been here occasionally, I always enjoy my meals and experience. I came here with a few friends after church and had a great time. For my drink, I had their frozen lemonade, which was amazing! It was both sour and sweet with a smooth texture. Sometimes it's hard to find a frozen lemonade that isn't too soft or hard, too sweet or too sour - just the perfect combination. I would recommend coming especially during October to try their $5 spooky sips; you won't be disappointed. You can barely taste the alcohol (there's more juice than alcohol) unless you request more alcohol to be used. When we went, I saw on the menu that they offer a 2 for $27 deal (depending on your entree). I chose this option and decided on the spinach artichoke dip for my appetizer. It was creamy and tasty, a great starter for the table. I also tried the boneless chicken wings topped with honey garlic sauce. The sauce and wings complemented each other well; I would also recommend this appetizer. For my entree, I went for the Fiesta Lime Chicken, glazed chicken topped with lime sauce and cheddar cheese. The meal also came with a side of Spanish rice that was cooked perfectly (not too mushy or hard). I was very pleased with my meal as the chicken was tender and juicy, especially with the zesty lime sauce. I didn't have cheese on mine due to dietary restrictions, but I'm sure it tastes incredible. The service was good and fast for our group size. Everyone's order was correct and cooked to their liking. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and meal from start to end. So we stopped here before halseys concert. We got sat immediately service was impeccable. Even the manager came by a couple of times to check on each table. I thought that was very nice and his name was Julian. He's a very good attentive manager. Jessica was our server and she was on point w drinks and food. The reason I gave it 4 stars was cause our cheese sticks w our appetizer, you could tell wasn't cooked all the way. The appetizer we got was the sampler which had 4 cheese sticks, spinach dip and chips which I can't lie it was gross, chicken quesadilla and boneless Buffalo wings. For dinner my daughter and I did the 2 for $26. We both got a house salad and she got the 6oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli and I got chicken and broccoli Alfredo. It was all delicious. I've been a patron of Applebee's for years. Many others before this one opened a few years ago. It was great, with a new layout and the same menu. I was there with my spouse recently. It was 7 PM or so on a weekday. My review of two star is in remembrance of a well run restaurant. One star had the salad not been good. This will be short and I hope management is watching. Personnel exhibited a total lack of professionalism. Sloppiness was the order of the evening. It was worse than making it up as they went. They just didn't seen to care out the restaurant, themselves of the customers. Competent staff training is in order. Success in this area is badly needed. I'll not return in the near future. The wife and I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday and we were not disappointed. They have 9 combinations of a "buy 2 entrees, get 1 appetizer" deals. We got a combination of "Bourbon chicken and shrimp" and the 8oz top sirloin. Appetizer was the spinach dip. Dip came out promptly and was proper temp and the chips were also nice. They also added a small side of a tangy salsa, which we appreciated. Kimberly asked for her steak to be cooked rare and it was cooked to perfection - go figure. Let me just express how disappointed I am with Applebees on todays visit. I first also want to say, I am a huge Applebee's fan.. Yet, this visit was by far the worst. The Applebees servers were incompetent and disrespectful. The server Darius and Nyla were simply horrible. Their behavior and attitude was so nasty and rude during our visit, landing us never to return to this location ever! When I rose my hand to signal a different server, Nyla yelled across the restaurant stating " someone is coming" which was rude and uncalled for, as she was not assisting us in anyway. Darius completely disregarded our entire table request, as he snapped at us after not bringing our drink order after sitting for greater than 30 minutes. Management was supposedly fixing the issue by dismissing the server that was rude to our party, yet Darius was not dismissed nor was he asked to leave the restaurant, as promised by management. Manager Kerri, Richard and Charline was rather helpful and kind after the fact , but their team-members were quite disgusting. The other female manger was unhelpful and dismissive as well. On top of that they screwed up our bill and tried to overcharge us. The food was completely horrible and I will never recommend coming to this location. They just lost a true fan! I should have used Yelp to check this Okeechobee and Military trail Applebee's. The food was mediocre but the issue for me was a request I made upon being seated. The waitress kindly said I'll tell the manager who has to let the shield down. I inquired a total of 4 times. My waitress asked if I was ok and I responded NO, I've asked several times to have the shield let down and you nor your manager acknowledged that it was still up and why. So Julian and Laura two managers on duty are poor management and why this restaurant rates at 2 stars very sad that my husband and I passed lots of restaurants to pick this sad excuse of a restaurant! We went there on a Sunday afternoon while visiting Palm Beach. We couldn't check into our condo yet so we really just wanted to have lunch and watch football for a while to kill time. Christy P. at the bar was efficient and helpful without being pushy to get us out. She was fine with us just watching tv and having a leisurely lunch and dessert. She remained cheerful and helpful with coke refills and using our bonus card and gift card. Naturally we left a really good tip for her being so accommodating - but it deserves an extra mention here. My experience at This Applebees was terrible. I went in with a party of five while the store was not too busy. There was young kid working as a host who was extremely rude and have no idea how they hired him. He told us we will be seated in 2 mins then let's a personal group of friends get seated ahead, then after waiting for 20 mins he comes back and says we can sit you in 5 minutes but we are busy so we won't get to you in while, do you still want to be seated? We proceeded to head out of the restaurant and found a more hospitable environment at the Cheesecake Factory, more pricey but at least you are treated like a paying customer and not the homie from the block who owes ppl money. Really disappointed :( The Applebee's by my house is great! This one was just bleh. I ordered the Fajita Rollup and when it arrived it was pretty much all cheese and lettuce and a few crumbled cubes (yes you read that right CUBES-as in really tiny, already cooked fake meat) of chicken. Nothing more. Was not appetizing at all. I sent it back and asked to cancel it but to have another menu sent over so I could order something else. Did I ever order somethings else? Nope. They completely ignored my request for a menu so I could at least find something to eat. I'm a fan of Applebee's, but this location was such a let down :( Edit: I decided that since the waitress and manager didn't care enough to actually grab me a menu, I would look it up on my phone and then call the waitress over since she disappeared. Wow. I'd rather just go home then eat here now because I really don't feel like getting a fly "accidentally" dropped in my food. Not comfortable at all at this location.
