We had a group of about 12 and we had an excellent waitress (Shawna) She was very attentive and helpful during our visit. Always checking if all was ok, needed refills , etc. The wait for our food was minimal and everyone was happy with the taste and quality of the food . I know. I should have believed the ratings. Upon entering the music was pretty loud, and they were playing reggae music. It felt like a club, it's either someone phone playlist was playing or a jukebox. First we were never greeted, we were seated, and then our waitress just showed up at the table "what can I get you guys?" .... No customer service whatsoever. This Applebees is NOT it. I had the chicken sandwich, I had to exchange because it tasted very weird. It also had this weird breading on it that crumbled it tasted like powder gross.... This location is close to Legoland so it gets busy and right across from the new YMCA has parking and good service. The ambiance is very chill, lots of TVs playing sports, and every so often movies. went here 5 times and they got the order wrong 3 times. first time they forgot the sauce i paid 3 for. not a big deal i guess. next time someone came into the restaurant with a similar name to my order or had a similar name. and they gave them my stuff. then i had to wait about a half hour extra. they thought it was me that took it and lied. and they still messed up the order. i had to go back. after that they started requiring my signature. next time they only gave me half the order and i didn't even notice since it usually looks small. after eating it, i got very sick with diarrhea. i'm certain it was that since it was the only thing i ate. and it must have been something at the bottom of it. since i didn't get sick until i ate the part that was at the bottom. the woman that gave it to me had dark hair and glasses. maybe slightly chubby. read more

Food and service were of a poor quality. The restaurant was empty practically at 4:30 in the afternoon. The hostess sat us next to a family of screaming wild children, and we were a party of six mature women then it took the server forever to get to us, she had to be reminder of our drinks that we had ordered. The food came out. It was so bad. Most of it was not even edible. She never came back to check that we were happy with our food. Just got a carry out and this is the worst meal I've ever had . Ordered the chicken sandwich with cheddar, bacon with fries. The bacon was burnt black and rubbery old . Besides the sandwich being cold the batter also looked old and so were the fries. Literally nothing was edible! I pulled the strange color batter off and gave to my dog. We went for the ayce riblets for 14.99, I got the oriental chicken salad. First Cathy was our server she is everything a customer wants in a server friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, and she keeps up with us needing refills. We didn't have to wait for more riblets or fries or drinks. I am impressed by the service. I think Applebee's is trying to get a better reputation. I had the oriental chicken salad it was the best ever. the bowl was full, it was what I hoped it would be. I love the bread too. It had all the parts like it should. I'd give it 5 forks. Everyone was served the same way as we were and I heard no complaints even the large party of 12 for a birthday. I hope you all give it another shot. Just came in here and it's listed as closed at 2am. I stood at the front to be seated and the bigger bartender told me they were closed. My husband came up dnt believe it and called and spoke to a manger who said we could come in as long as we ordered in 20mins. I felt rush and unwelcomed from the start and I didn't come back in. The white female bartender is rude and inconsistent. I've come here almost weekly since we moved here and never had an issue ordering half price appetizers. Today the bartender didn't want to honor it as if she was paying for it herself. Instead of honoring the price or accommodating my mom and 89 year old grandmother she allowed us to leave saying she's never seen us before. As if she remembers every single client she serves. Stopped in at this location on Saturday for a late lunch. Restaurant wasn't crowded at all which was nice, at least we thought. It took almost 10 minutes before anyone took our drink order. We also ordered an appetizer of chips and artichoke spinach dip. It took almost 20 minutes to receive it. Was very good, just took forever to get. We also ordered the Asian fried chicken salad and a pasta and chicken dish. Again both were very good, just took forever to receive. The food was okay... However, the bar is a nice place though to enjoy sports and mediocre adult drinks. If I were to visit again. it would be after 10 pm for the half- off appetizers due to the quality of the food. It actually would take me a while to re-visit this particular Applebees. They had horrible waiting staff. This one pregnant girl made me so angry about my friend and I not being able to use debit cards on the outside terrace as if we were going to risk our precious lives to go to jail for walking-out on a cheap bill. Please believe that food nor the alcoholic beverages are worth that. Her attitude was unbelievably despicable and unwarranted. We came for a late lunch after being at a kids museum all day. There were 10 of us. We were hungry. We expected it to take awhile just cause it's Friday. Anyway they were quick to seat us. Our waitress was very nice and quick to get our drinks and appetizers. We ordered our food and it quickly got to the table. I had the bourbon chicken and shrimp. It was delicious! The chicken didn't taste like rubber. They messed up one side but quickly fixed it. They sang happy Birthday to our birthday kids. We were all happy and full when we left. Tried to visit this evening. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by the super friendly hostess who let us know she was busy and would be right with us. Although there were plenty of available tables we waited as another employee stood at the podium waiting to talk to the hostess. The hostess came back to seat us. Unfortunately that was the only service we received. I can't leave a food or drink review since we never met our server. We waited over 15 minutes waiting for our server,(or anyone) to take our drink order. Which never happened. We watched as servers all around us appeared obviously frustrated and rolled their eyes as additional guest were seated in the half empty dining room. Not the worst Applebee's I've been to (that was in NJ...they served me salsa with a long string of black hair in it) but it's not the best either . The server was polite but on remarkable. The French onion soup I ordered was served cold, with cheese that hadn't melted. I posted a photo of this. I notice that there was an unusually large amount of pepper covering the fries on my child meal. Maybe some children are pepper fans , but mine really isn't.
