Ive always had some love for Hurricane Grill, i came to this to enjoy some wings and watch some playoff baseball and my food did not disappoint. I knew i have always enjoyed their boneless wings but I want to give the traditional a shot as well. Safe to say I still prefer the boneless from here. I would say you can tell the location has been there for a bit as it wasnt the most pleasing to the eye, but it was made up for with very good and very service who made sure to help with anything we needed in a timely manner. We stopped visiting a couple of years ago after several visits with poor service and poor quality food. Decided to see if anything has changed so we stopped in for lunch this week. Was craving some wings after our recent visit to Texas where we always get great wings. Well, was I surprised! The service was great and the food was even better. I had wings, fries and slaw. Came from out of town and when we saw there was a Hurricane we knew we needed to go. We used to live next to one when we were college and loved it then. We had the kettle chips with queso which were delish. We also had wings to share with 3 different sauces. We had garlic parm which wasn't very good. Kinda oily and not much flavor. We also had gold rush and bbq which were both great. The problem was only 1 flavor seemed super hot and fresh. The other flavors were kinda lukewarm and seemed to sit around for a while. Been here twice. Place is clean and staff are on top of things. Our server Amanda was excellent. We noticed another group came in and asked for her by name. Food was very good. No issues with quality. The only disappointment was that the street corn side as tiny and was a 4.99 upcharge. They used to use actual corn on the cobb but this is just mixed in a bowl. Well opt for a different side next time. They need to bring cobbs back or get rid of the up charge. This is the second hurricanes ive been to and the best out of the two so far. read more

There was one table outside and two tables leaving from inside as we got there so it's safe to say we were the only people inside being serviced. Our waitress was not on her game. She forgot to get give our straws for the waters and coke. She never came back to check on us for a second round of beers. Food- I ordered the four-piece chicken tender meal with two sides so I went with fries and slaw. It set me back nine bucks. It was out quickly and looked great. The slaw was just fine and tasted fresh. The fries were forgettable. They were hot but tasted old. I'd try another side next time and there were plenty to choose from. OMG the tenders! They were huge and moist and incredibly flavorful and there were five instead of four! My server explained that the cook thought one was a little small, so he added an extra one. They were awesome. It did take a bit longer than expected to get our food, but they did have a good number of customers. The outdoor covered seating area is really nice for mild weather day. TVs with various sports programs all around. The appetizer chili nachos were huge; certainly a meal, not an appetizer. And it was loaded with good stuff. Kept eating after I was full because it was so good. My gf said her burger was outstanding. She gobbled it down with no complaints, so I know she was happy. We love to come to hurricanes. It's our family favorite. We go at least once a week. We all feel so at home there. We have a normal server charity and she is wonderful. She stays on top of it. She always makes sure the food is good and correct and if we need anything. It's always just a really good time we go. We have tried almost everything on the menu and love it all.
