Was so excited since I had a wonderful experience a week ago at a different location but oh my god. I ordered the French onion soup and the loaded waffle fries. I received a soup not even half full and the side order of regular waffle fries. Didn't realize till my husband paid that we were charged for the loaded ones! My friend's 'medium rare' burger was so well done there was absolutely no pink in it. Overall the portions were not up to par with what I've received at other locations. My husband goes to the one in Coventry every Friday and has never had an issue like this. Our server was fine. All I had to do was place my order online, wait in the parking, and boom - on my way home to feast. Pictured is my entree: 8 oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Had burger from burger challenge and a appetizer of chips and cheese. Definitely a good deal for the $. Also had drink of the month. Perfect. Would go again if in the area. Located across from Diamond hill plaza in woonsocket. Couple things were a turn off. 1 server had his pants hanging to low for me. I dont want to see what u r wearing under your clothes no matter your size Ty. Also another customer across from us was eating w bare feet"like no shoes or socks on". At 1 point a server started cleaning the carpet with like a sweeper while we and others were eating. I have been to this Applebees in the past and only had great things to share. Today, I cannot say the same. Upon waitress arrival we had ordered a drink and it did not come to our table after seeing it sitting out for over 10 minutes. When our food came, we had to remind the waitress about the drink, so we had waited easily 20 minutes for one drink. The food was extremely mediocre. The serving of fries was very underwhelming, and tasted as though they were sitting out for quite some time. The service was extremely slow, and the food very mediocre. The drink was good, once I got it. The wait staff only attending every so often towards the end of our visit while paying. Dinner with the family to celebrate a chess club championship for the 10 year old boy. Have been to this place in the past and service and food was great. This time, the food was a little disappointing, service was ok. Parking lot could have been shoveled better. Lost many spaces to the snow piles, when the Walmart behind the Applebee's is closed and a huge empty parking lot. Place was pretty busy, probably due to the fact that there are hardly any family restaurants in that area of Woonsocket. We started with some chili nachos, which for $10 we expected more than some stale chips and chili. Son asked where the cheese was, and after careful inspection we determined that this white sauce was cheese and not melted sour cream. Daughter had a steak, which had been tenderized too much - at 12 yrs of age, she said the steak tasted funny and would not eat more. I swapped my Fiesta Chicken Salad for her steak - and it was over-tenderized. The Fiesta Salad was okay, just a little meager. We have had this dish at the Applebee's in Milford, and it was so much better. My 10 yr old son had a chicken fingers and mac and cheese dish, which seemed fine. My dear wife had the best dish - chicken and portable mushroom burger/sandwich - tasted and looked good. Little disappointed. THE CHICKEN SANDWICH WAS COMPLETELY RAW. If were able to review this hellscape of a restaurant with no stars I would. My sister and I were sat quickly. When he arrived, our waiter rudely asked "What do you want." When he returned my sister (F31) ordered a margarita, and the waiter turned to me and asked if I would like one (I am a minor), I rejected the offer and he ID'd neither of us. When I explained I was a minor, he proceeded to make an inappropriate comment about how I looked older than I was. When we got our food we noticed how quickly it had arrived. We both ordered a chicken sandwich and noticed a yellowy-orange liquid on top. Thinking it was a sauce, we both started to eat. When I got to the center, I noticed it was soft and rubbery. THE CHICKEN WAS RAW. My sister's sandwich was almost completely raw. When we got the manager, he was unsympathetic and only compensated for the sandwiches (not including the sides they came with.) Looking for a decent, clean, dine-in restaurant on the Diamond Hill side of the Wooney Bin (Woonsocket). Look no further than Applebee's. Luckily, this location's got is going on. They are the last full service restaurant located on Diamond Hill Road (unless you consider McDonald's or the Chinese buffet full service), and a very popular stop for the locals in the area. Nickie is very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The current menu (early September 2016) has some great values, specifically the 2 for $20 and 2 for $25 meals are a great value, and seem competitive throughout Applebee's, Chili's and few other similar chains. What makes Applebee's differ from other chains, is that each restaurant is a tad different, dependent upon the location. The difference between this specific Applebee's is the Woonsocket motif (as noted in a picture I posted), and the vast, spacious design of the restaurant. Everything is open, and from anywhere inside the restaurant you can see the entire rest of the seating. No walls between different seating areas or the bar like at Applebee's in Walpole. Burgers, chicken tenders, 4 cheese mac and cheese are some of the best options here. Delicious and perfect size for the price. Definitely very filling, and while some find it nice to be able to find it nice to be able to take a good portion of their meal home, I sort of like how I can finish my food here and not have to worry about finishing it the next day. How many times do you want the same thing two days in a row. Good service from this location, and convenient location right on Diamond Hill Road. 4 stars for the Woonsocket Applebee's. read more

Applebee's is one of my favorites because my girlfriend and I can usually never decide kind of food we want, so we pick a restaurant that offers everything. Although I usually get their fish and chips (delicious by the way), She has tried almost the whole menu over the years. I have never once had a bad, undercooked or overcooked meal; and they have good pricing. (Especially if you get a "2 for $20 meal") There is always a game on the big screen TVs, and if you sit in the center area (not the bar), you can change the volume of which TV you want to watch with a little box on your table so only you can hear it. With the corner seating, it is easy to bring and seat a part of 8-10+ too. read more

Good location, clean establishment and good food. While the waitress was nice, she's not attentive at all. It was easier to go without the items we needed than to track her down to request. While this could be an assumption, I must point out that when someone is waving just to the side of your vision with a credit card, it normally would catch your attention. It appeared that she was intentionally avoiding and all I wanted to do was pay the bill. I had to leave the table to go find her to give her my credit card. Other tables in our vicinity had the same problem with the same waitress. Because we took up a substantial amount of time at our table visiting with family even though there were PLENTY of tables available the entire time, I was prepared to give her a substantial tip well more than the standard 20% of the bill. Our food came about 10 minutes apart so I had to sit and wait and he food even came out cold after waiting about an hour. Even after everything we went home, 1 of our party of 3 got food poisoning over 24 hours. Gross Went in for a quick bite tonight and sat at the bar. No one acknowledged us for the first 10 minutes. The food was "ok" but what really turned us off was the staff arguing right in front of us. The bathrooms and restaurant in general were simply gross..... trash on floors, fingerprints and smudges all over everything. Even touching the menus gave me pause thinking I'd catch something. At one point the bartender told staff they were out of clean glasses. Each time a dirty glass was returned, I watched the bartender dip it in the sinks quickly and put them back on the bar as "clean". There were no brushes used at all. I had lipstick on and no care was used to wipe it off before it was recycled and reused for another patron! I took the time to call the "manager" on staff who seemed indifferent and almost bothered by my complaints. I found her almost rude and by the end of the conversation determined I would never go there again. If you have germ phobias or want a stress free experience, this is not the place for you! If you expect the management to CARE about your concerns, go somewhere else. read more

This is one of my favorite places in Woonsocket, always had a good experience here. Whenever we had a problem, manager would take care of it right away, server up to date are great, great ambience, family crowd. On Monday they have the $5.99 burger and fries special, GREAT BURGERS, also try the brownie bites with hot fudge and ice cream for $1.00. Hope they keep up the good work! read more
