I have driven past PJs for five months, I finally had the chance to stop and order some dinner. I walked in and sat at the bar. I was welcomed by Kelly. Adorable and running the show. I asked for a recommendation and she offered several options. I asked about soups and she said the chilli is a daily special. I'm a big chili fan - she said it had brisket and was a hearty option. I asked if she had fries, she said yes, so I asked if I can have chilli cheese fries with jalapeños. She said - sounds good to me! I love a person who says yes and figures it out - even when it's not on the menu. She took very good care if me and the kitchen had no problem doing my request. The chili was very tasty. The amount of meat was substantial and the taste had a sweet spicy finish. Placing them on a bed of fries was an excellent idea. I will order this again. Pj's used to be my go to place for a great burger. I went tonight and they only offer smash burgers. Got the bourbon black and blue. The patties were thick and dry. Not a very good burger. I wish they had stuck with their classic burgers. Service was very good though. read more

I had a few minor issues with this experience. I ordered the chicken caesar sandwich with fried chicken via Door Dash. First, the Door Dash app shows it as a wrap, so that is what I expected. (Ok, It was lunch and I was too hungry to read the fine print that shows the wrap under "modifiers"). It came on a sesame seed bun. That aside - it was SPECTACULAR!! The chicken - perfect, the Caesar dressing - perfect.. I don't even care what kind of bread - it was THAT good. I did order a side of Mac and cheese instead of the standard fries. It was... well.. bland. I lost interest in it after that first bite.. I think there was no upcharge for the substitution, and I appreciate their offering some other choices. OMG one of the best places I've been to for food. Even though it was the Bruins playoffs it still wasn't crazy noisy busy like a lot of places are we you can't even hear the person next to you. The food was amazing. We were there. We're supposed to meet some friends from my bike group, but unfortunately I was at the wrong restaurant but that's OK. We stayed and had a bite to eat and the food was out of this world like I will definitely go back cause it was a few other things I wanted to try, but we just wanted to get something small cause you're already there and didn't wanna like you know be rude and just walk out. It was very reasonable. John also had a beer and that was like three bucks or something. The server was amazing young man members name. I'm sorry to say, but he was friendly. He was kind explained. The menu was on top of everything when your glasses of water came partway empty right over the picture. The place was busy because of the playoffs, but that didn't stop the service from getting taken care of everyone spot on no one really had to wait unless like they were waiting for their food which obviously people have to wait for that. But this place is definitely a spot to go to, it's very unexpected. It's at the edge of a plaza that has like a pizza shop in it and a Mexican place and stuff but it really is wonderful. All the food going by looked exceptional was definitely gonna go back and try the burgers cause those out of this world and my husband's burger person.they have outside seating they are handicapped accessible. Pretty extensive menu for a small sport bar/pub. They have a nice outdoor space in the warm months and regular musical bingo, karaoke etc nights. Pub food is about average for expectations but it's a fun place to go with a group! read more

First time at PJ's was on a Thursday night. We usually go to Sol de Mexico located across the parking lot but decided to try something different. Party of six were seated outside flanked by a propane heater. We started with drinks. I ordered a glass of house Cabernet which was served in a tiny wine glass. Others in my party ordered beer and drink specials. We decided to have appetizers and ordered Buffalo wings and nachos with chili. The wings had a slight crunch which was nice. Nachos were ok. I had a bowl of chili for diner. It was chunky and had a nice spicy heat but temperature could have been a bit hotter. Others had Firecracker burgers and steak tips. Both were cooked to order and good. Overall the dining experience was ok and a couple times service was slow. Prices seemed a bit high as compared to other similar restaurants. I've eaten at PJ's several times over the past few years and have always had an excellent meal and great service. Indeed, just yesterday I went there for a quick lunch. I ordered a ribeye at PJs. I don't know what kind of steak it was, but it definitely was not what I ordered. There were just little bits of meat separated by chunks of fat and gristle. It was also the thinnest steak I've ever been served. Someone from the restaurant came over to ask about my steak--and I told him how awful it was, and showed him the terrible texture and quality of the meat. He apologized--but didn't offer to replace it, comp me a drink, and there it was on the bill. We were sitting at the bar, and the bartender didn't ask why my "steak" hadn't been touched. Great little sports bar located at the Bellingham/Franklin line. Waitstaff has always been attentive and friendly. They have a small craft beer selection, which I wish was bigger, but it's not bad. They have large portions and they do great burgers and nachos. I always go with one of their specialty sandwiches and haven't been disappointed. read more

My coworkers and I stumbled upon PJ's while we were drinking around after a business meeting. It looked fun so we decided to stop by to give this place a shot! It has a sporty atmosphere as soon as you walk in! I ordered a glass of the Cabernet as well as the buffalo chicken salad. The portions are BIG!!! I was not able to finish my salad because there was so much! My coworker ordered the onion rings and they were pretty good. My other coworker ordered the macaroni and cheese, which is in the picture I posted; she said it was delicious! I also ordered the Hurricane for my next drink, however, I do not recommend this drink!! It barely had any flavor! I was pretty disappointed. I did like the food though. Service was great, the atmosphere was also great, Boston sports theme with a great menu design. That's about all that was 'great' at this restaurant, my girlfriend and I had gotten the appetizer sampler, Mia's Mac and cheese for her, and I had gotten the Bostonian sandwich. It's pretty hard to mess up chicken fingers however the ones on the sampler were bland and impressively bad, the mozzarella sticks were a similar ordeal. The onion rings were actually really good, and the potato skins were also just fine. My girlfriend had enjoyed her Mac and cheese and it looked good but my Bostonian had really overcooked and over salted meat and a very strange tasting coleslaw on it. With the nearly $60 we paid for two entrees and an appetizer without the tip it's certainly not worth it if you're looking for a bargain. However the Mac n cheese, Onion rings, atmosphere, and service are all good at this location. Just be wary of practically everything else. read more

This place used to be amazing and is now sub-par at best. The food is so inconsistent and often makes you feel sick afterwards. One day it will be amazing and feel like the best place in town, and the other day it will be almost inedible. I had one dine-in experience a month ago watching NHL playoffs (it was 3pm, the place was almost empty) where the server kept forgetting my one drink order to where my drink arrived AFTER my entree (we ordered apps too). She would come by saying "your drink is almost here" and then forget again, and come back saying, "sorry I completely forgot" and be off. It was to a point where a customer seated at another table came up to ours saying how ridiculous it was, where she saw and immediately had the bartender make me it. Took 2 minutes. This used to be the best place in town and now needs serious improvements to get it back to where it used to be. read more

Good food. Good prices. Friendly service....but so slow. We came in on a random Wednesday night and service was excruciatingly slow. It took 5 min for someone to even come over, another 10 minutes after we ordered drinks and 30 min for our appetizer. Probably another 15-20 min before the main course. The friendliness of the crew wore off in our starvation state. It seems clean enough, but the music was also so loud!! Our 5yo daughter complained of a headache because of how loud the music was! Today, TUESDAY, after golf we went to PJ's to take advantage of the special advertised on the front door in HUGE LETTERS: TUESDAY ONLY - 16 oz BUD LITE AND 3 SLIDERS $5.00. When we sat down and tried to order the special the waitress told us it was not offered until after 4pm. I double checked the sign and nowhere did it say "AFTER 4PM". We asked to speak to manager - "no manager on duty" was the reply. We were also told that the supply of sliders do not arrive until "later in the afternoon". We had been there twice last year before 4pm and were given the special - which was actually very good. We will be taking our after golf lunch somewhere else from now on! read more

Stopped in for a bite, on a suggestion, after a round of 18 in Franklin. My partner and I, disputing who got the better of whom on the course, sat at the bar and gazed at some pretty well worn single-sheet menus. I opted for the Mediterranean salad. The other half must have lost appetite upon tallying up the score card and ordered nothing. Ha! The salad was fresh and well presented; a meal in itself. The dressing was especially note-worthy with flavor all its own. The place is small with only a few booths along the windows street-side; high-top tables along another; an outdoor sitting deck along parking side, and a horse-shoe bar right in the middle: well stocked with patrons and booze. Many seemed 'comfortable-regulars' with smiles abound. The place was clean. However, the true 'acid-test: the Restrooms - the window into the kitchen- we did not visit. I ordered a burger with waffle fries. The burger was ok, the fries were cold. My wife had a steak tip salad and the steak was Luke warm. Service was slow as well.
