Special order - chili cheese fries with jalapeños. It's a gotta try.

I have driven past PJs for five months, I finally had the chance to stop and order some dinner. I walked in and sat at the bar. I was welcomed by Kelly. Adorable and running the show. I asked for a recommendation and she offered several options. I asked about soups and she said the chilli is a daily special. I'm a big chili fan - she said it had brisket and was a hearty option. I asked if she had fries, she said yes, so I asked if I can have chilli cheese fries with jalapeños. She said - sounds good to me! I love a person who says yes and figures it out - even when it's not on the menu. She took very good care if me and the kitchen had no problem doing my request. The chili was very tasty. The amount of meat was substantial and the taste had a sweet spicy finish. Placing them on a bed of fries was an excellent idea. I will order this again. Many thanks to Kelly and the boys in the kitchen. I appreciate your effort.

OMG one of the best places I've been to for food. Even though it was the Bruins playoffs it still wasn't crazy noisy busy like a lot of places are we you can't even hear the person next to you. The food was amazing. We were there. We're supposed to meet some friends from my bike group, but unfortunately I was at the wrong restaurant but that's OK. We stayed and had a bite to eat and the food was out of this world like I will definitely go back cause it was a few other things I wanted to try, but we just wanted to get something small cause you're already there and didn't wanna like you know be rude and just walk out. It was very reasonable. John also had a beer and that was like three bucks or something. The server was amazing young man members name. I'm sorry to say, but he was friendly. He was kind explained. The menu was on top of everything when your glasses of water came partway empty right over the picture. The place was busy because of the playoffs, but that didn't stop the service from getting taken care of everyone spot on no one really had to wait unless like they were waiting for their food which obviously people have to wait for that. But this place is definitely a spot to go to, it's very unexpected. It's at the edge of a plaza that has like a pizza shop in it and a Mexican place and stuff but it really is wonderful. All the food going by looked exceptional was definitely gonna go back and try the burgers cause those out of this world and my husband's burger person.they have outside seating they are handicapped accessible. I don't know about the bathrooms, but the restaurant has a ramp to it so it's perfect. Parking is very close so that's good and it's right off of 495 not even a mile. On 140.

Great bar food!! The service was great and fast. I didn't get to take a photo of out apps but we got the nachos. The meals were chicken bacon ranch quesadilla and chicken tender platter with a Buffalo BBQ dipping sauce

First time at PJ's was on a Thursday night. We usually go to Sol de Mexico located across the parking lot but decided to try something different. Party of six were seated outside flanked by a propane heater. We started with drinks. I ordered a glass of house Cabernet which was served in a tiny wine glass. Others in my party ordered beer and drink specials. We decided to have appetizers and ordered Buffalo wings and nachos with chili. The wings had a slight crunch which was nice. Nachos were ok. I had a bowl of chili for diner. It was chunky and had a nice spicy heat but temperature could have been a bit hotter. Others had Firecracker burgers and steak tips. Both were cooked to order and good. Overall the dining experience was ok and a couple times service was slow. Prices seemed a bit high as compared to other similar restaurants. It was ok to try a different restaurant but next time we'll stick with Sol de Mexico

The prosciutto and fig flatbread was decent but nothing to rave about. The hostess was bubbly and sweet, however the waiter seemed unimpressed himself. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a couple of chipper teenage hostesses and we were even able to pick our table. Our server seemed a little off at first but he warmed up after a little banter; perhaps he was just feeling us out. Beer menu was great but did not necessarily contain anything rare. I had a foam ipa and a stout from dorchester brewing to follow. I had the smash burger. It seemed like a true smash as it was crispy on the outside and had the right amount of grease. The house made chips were a nice addition as I'm not a huge French fry fan. My wife had the fig and prosciutto flatbread and she liked it. The fig paste was tasty, arugula was fresh and there was even some cheese pull. Overall, it was a nice visit and I wouldn't hesitate to go back based on how this visit went.

I had the grilled octopus which was delicious and tender with a Mediterranean flair. I took a side of garlic broccoli which could have been cooked just a little bit more but was delicious. My wife had the fish and chips which I stole. A little bit of the chips were the best I've had. The fish was delicious. Of course we had to have a traditional old fashioned smoked which was quite a treat. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Funny and welcoming.. but what really killed it was the ambiance and Old Stone building with beautifully appointed decorations. It was a place that I would love to spend more time in. If you're ever in the area, we highly recommend it.

We've visited here several times since its opening. Love the build out in the old mill building…read more It's interesting that they distill their own liquors, but it's not the main attraction as they are all variations of things you easily find a ton of, either at most liquor stores or even from other area distilleries like Bully Boy. We've had fantastic food there in the past. Also some great drinks. There are a few reasons for the three though. One is that food can be hit or miss and I think prices are far too high for both the area and what you get. Example shown in my pic was a $35 "Steak Frites" entree, which was you can see is basically steak tips with tater tots and some random veggies and sauce put together in what was not the most appetizing manner. Unless the tots were handmade with exotic ingredients, this is not how a Steak Frites should be done, and even then Tots are a pretty low end alternative. Cocktails also on the high side, though the presentation of the smoked ones was really nice, even if the taste didn't warrant the price. Inside the place gets very noisy and the seating is too compacted, probably because they use a large part of the original building for the distillery operation. Also we went on a weekday, and their entire lot was filled, forcing us to find a grass strip to drive onto and park on. I think the reason was they had a private party on the second floor - I think perhaps they allowed too many guests there which took up most of their parking. Last thing about the menu .. we like that it changes, but this week there were not one but several dishes featuring Gochujang - an unusual flavor for sure, which I do like, but when I see something like that peppered across a menu it speaks to cost cutting in terms of trying to stretch one key ingredient. Just not that thrilled with where the menu is at the moment. The outside seating area is great and eliminates the interior noise problems. And I'll add we had a fantastic server! We will definitely come back, but if the prices remain as high and the food and drinks continue to be a mixed bag, that may not remain the case. And please don't overbook private parties unless you can take over the industrial business next door and expand the parking significantly.

The sweet, smoky flavor, mustardy goodness isn't something I've found done as well anywhere else. And the fish itself was cooked perfectly. They paired the fish with the heartiness of the harvest grain side dish you see pictured. It was a huge serving, and I ate the whole thing because it was amaaaazing. My waitress was lovely and efficient, and I also didn't feel rushed. What made it a four star experience rather than 5 stars for me was the ambiance. The music was horrible--like 1980's big hair band type music. It was such a bizarre contrast to the rest of the upscale ambiance, which looked & felt more like a steakhouse. To my chagrin, it wasn't just one "off" song either...the awful selections kept coming throughout the meal. The music gave it more of a dive bar vibe, and it was so completely offputting that I left sooner than I otherwise would have. It honestly gives me pause when I think about coming again. And that's a real shame because I'd like to bring others here to share the amazing eats. I may try it again on another day. But if the music is the same, I'll be walking right back out the door.
