I was in search for a company to fix my MacBook screen. My fear was paying more than my laptop is worth to fix the screen and potentially being without it for weeks. I visited multiple places in the city in search for the cheapest options and quickest turnaround. I stumbled upon Appleberry and it was best option. Firstly, I visited and they were very helpful. I'm super impressed! They have 2 locations (look them up or look for Sunny) I scheduled an online appointment with them at location A to fix my IPhone because it can only do so much when you've dropped it one too many times in less than a month. Showed up early for my appointment and thought to inform them of my early arrival. Sunny called me and suggest I come by to location B (3 train stops away) because his tech guy would be running late for my appointment. So with a hint of hesitation made the trip to location B. It took his tech guy less than 5 mins to repair my damaged LCD digitizer. I wanted a new tempered screen protector as well to lessen the damage if I WERE to drop it again because things happen. Sunny gave me the screen for free and for thanking me for making the effort to come over to location B instead. They care about their customers so I care to write a positive review for Appleberry. I Have to write this review, otherwise it will be irresponsible from my part if I don't do it... My case: pretty little me dropped her right hand( iPhone 5 s)and crashed it to thousands of pieces, today, almost 10 mins before the store closing hour I called to see if I could get it fixed( originally called to the one in midtown west, near 40 st), the person who picked up was soooo nice that they arranged for me to go to the location on 57...keep in mind that when I arrived it was 6:05( they close at 6), the repair person and the store cashier were extremely nice and fixed my phone to perfection! Prior to writing this review, I did some research and realize this isn't THE Apple Berry that everyone raves about, which is actually located in the Theatre District. WELP. Anyway, I was happy with the speed and service here. Even the rates are pretty competitive...but my iPhone is out of commission after just 3 weeks. I went in with a cracked 5S screen on May 20 and within 30 minutes my phone was ready for pickup. The screen looked great, but immediately there was a vertical white line that constantly came up in the right corner of my phone...something like an old-school television set that's starting to go bad (I am an 80s baby, so bear with me)! I made note of this but didn't fret because I am behind in generations and planned to upgrade once the iPhone 7 was released anyway. But my phone doesn't work! This morning the screen completely blacked-out and although I can ask Siri questions, I cannot see or answer phone calls (calls are coming through, however); I cannot access phone numbers, my calendar, photos, or do anything that requires home screen. I cannot even turn the phone off, nor my annoying alarm since I am unable to see or swipe anything. Unfortunately, I might have to purchase the 6S which was clearly not my plan. I will also return to Apple Berry and have this temporarily fixed if possible or request a refund. Lastly, my phone isn't backed up so if it can't be repaired, I am screwed. Courteous and Professional!!! When my daughter told me she dropped her iphone 5C and shattered the screen, I wanted to cry. Without insurance, I imagined us going into a sketchy, dark place to get the screen replaced, only to have it fall off, as I read in so many other reviews. Just picked up my phone and couldn't wait to review the place. Baur and Sunny were super helpful in helping me fix my rose gold iPhone 6S. The LCD screen was no longer functioning after spilling water on it. I had went to a different repair shop prior, they had offered to fix it for 230+tax and wanted me to wait until the next day to pick it up. I called Appleberry as soon as I left the place and a nice man (I believe Sunny) quoted me $169 to fix the screen. I dropped my phone at their office and the phone was available within the same day. Great service at great prices! I dropped my macbook pro on its side which made the hinge between the screen and the body come loose and break. I dropped my laptop off at around noon, by 1:45, they called me to let me know exactly what the issue was, what options I had, and how much each option would cost and even recommended I go for the cheaper option because they didn't want me to spend money on something that wasn't completely necessary. Everything was fixed and working again by 4pm. It's nice to see such honesty from businesses. I went to their store a few months back for a different issue and was impressed with the service which is why I went back for this issue, despite having moved far away from the store. I would highly recommend this place to get your iphone fixed. Brought mine in today to have the battery replaced. Service was great. It was serviced by Bauer (sorry, not sure how it's spelled!) and he was super nice and helpful. Didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. The battery is now great, the craftsmanship was done well and efficiently. Price was great too. They offer a $10 for $20 deal through Yelp. With that offer, I only ended up paying a total of ~$42 for the battery replacement. The whole process, including getting a new tempered glass screen protector ($10 - very competitive price), took no more than 20 mins. I am telling all my iphone friends about this place!! read more

I had been having intermittent touch screen issues with my 6+ where the screen would just randomly stop responding to touch. I went to one of those screen replacement shops, no help. Took it to Tekserve, but they wouldn't touch it because it had been opened by a 3rd party. They did, however, recommend AppleBerry, and I am so pleased they did! My MacBook Pro wouldn't turn on out of nowhere - I got it diagnosed at the Apple Store and then decided to shop around for quotes. The keyboard needed to be replaced - the power button wasn't working properly. A friend recommended Appleberry - their technicians used to work for Apple and have lots of experience. The price the quoted was a bit cheaper than Apple and the turnaround was much quicker - got my laptop by the next day. They are amazing! They repaired my water damaged iphone 6s. Before coming here, two other repair stores told me there was nothing they can do to fix it. On the same day I left my phone with them, they did a quick diagnose and emailed me that they were going to check a motherboad to see if it would be possible to repair the device. Four days after that, they informed me they could repair it and it would be ready for a pick up next day. This whole process took only a week. Friendliness, honesty, integrity, and competence. A hard package to beat. I turned off an overheated older MacBook Pro with fan whirring and an hour later it refused to charge or start-up. Took it to Apple Berry's computer collection station at 205 W 57th on Wednesday. In advance they told me the expected range of typical repair if it was a motherboard problem in case I wanted to back out. Also that they'd send it down to their repair shop on 34th St for best service. Given the summer crunch they indicated they might not be able to get back to me with a diagnosis, well enough repair until Friday. Got a call on Thursday saying they were able to turn it on after a simple hard reset with no other work required. Returned it to 57th St for pick-up the same day and...no charge. Good business. Good businessmen. Won all my future business. read more

Sometimes microelectronics can be hard to repair. I smashed the screen on my iPhone 6. They replaced the screen twice, but I still had some issues. On the third try they sat down with me until the phone displayed the problem, then tried a screen from a different supplier and success! It's not always simple and straightforward. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The screen that was put on my phone was not OEM (it was a knock off apple screen). As a result, the screen that appleberry put on my phone, a little over a month ago, disintegrated- the home button stopped working, the display became fuzzy, the screen began to split into two pieces and separate from the phone. When the screen separated from the body of the phone, it was no longer protected by the case leaving the corners vulnerable to chips and cracks. I went to the store yesterday and requested a new screen (screen has 60 day warranty.) The man who originally fixed my screen (very pleasant) was there with his coworker. His coworker was overwhelmingly rude and disrespectful. He refused to honor the warranty and talked down to me. After going back and forth (I offered to pay for the labor and that offer was refused), I left the store and went to a repair shop across the street. Ray at LCD Repair showed me how the screen was inherently flawed (missing screws, not OEM, ect.) Word to the wise: Save your money and your time read more

Went there to fix by iPhone 6 display which was broken .got it fix an paid 130 $. Two weeks later one of the corner on phone display starting peeling . I went back to Apple berry to discuss the problem . The guy over their started tell me the story that my phone has bend and that he stated to me in first meeting . Which he never did. My phone does not have any bend which I showed to him and he started telling me what do u want me to do change the display . Started argument with me . I can glue it got you . I left the place .
