Well to start out, I really like this place and have had great meals here. The service is top notch, friendly and quick. So here we go. Decided to take my wife for her Birthday dinner, we ordered ribs and chicken dinners. Food tasted as usual very good. On the way home i get a small pain in my stomach, nothing big but it just keeps amping up in pain. My wife says she feels fine only to change her tune around bedtime, where she is doubled over in pain and gets sick. Im guessing it was the chicken that got us sick. We had breakfast here twice while on Hideout weekend. First time wasn't enough frankly. Great food. Fried egg sandwich, eggs over medium w all the bacon and sausage and hash browns. Omelettes just right. Bloody Mary met expectations as it appears it does for all. Everyone who is here is a local and they all know and greet each other. Super Friendly cheers bar with great food. Nice size bar for sitting and eating. Parking is pretty simple too. Four stars for a great greasy spoon bar. Not sure why all the negative reviews since it's a bar and grill. Service was fine, maybe slow but sip and go is the attitude. I think breakfast ends at 11 am so fair warning. read more

Uh, this place is gross. I went thinking it was a traditional American bar/restaurant with cooked to order, fresh food. I ordered the steak with sautéed mushrooms, baked potato soup and a salad. The baked potato soup was cold and looked like the kind of condensed soup that comes from a can for prisoners in the federal penitentiary. Honestly, pretty sure it would have been considered cruel and unusual punishment for them too. The steak (ordered medium rare) was over cooked and the mushrooms on top were canned mushrooms. 1 star for the cheese curd app, but it's Wisconsin--it's expected that they would get their cheese right. It's a non-fancy off the beaten path bar/restaurant. Exactly what we were looking for. The portions were good size and the food was tasty. We had the broasted chicken and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We enjoyed them both. The bartender was tentative and very friendly. We definitely want to come back and try out the breakfast menu. read more

Apparently I am not local enough. We ordered our food, I ordered a cheese burger and fries and my partner ordered a ham and cheese and fries. So our order comes out and he got his ham and cheese, I got a chicken sandwich, what??? So after about 3 min. Got the waitress attention and told her it was wrong, (we noticed another table sent their food back as well, we didn't see what it was). Waitress said the cook made the wrong thing and she would have them make mine, while a different waitress comes over with a burger that looks like it was touched and hardly any cheese on it, she said it didn't go out to a different table, but it had bacon on it and they had to take that off, which also took half the cheese away - you would think they would of at the very least added more cheese to a cheese burger. So the waitress simply said sorry and walked away, the next time she came back she had our bill, we had only taken like 2-3 bites, not even half way through our meal and she made me feel like they was kicking us out the door. Needless to say she will be tipped accordingly, I feel like my food was on that other table and they didn't take my health into consideration during a time needing to be cautious due to Covid. They also didn't take into consideration that my partners food had often cold waiting for them to fix their mistakes. I will never truly know the situation and what truly happened with the food, but I won't be coming back here this is the 2nd time I've been here and both times they messed up our order, if they can't get it right, I can't see spending my hard earned money there. read more

This place is awesome. Great for breakfast. Fantastic Bloody Mary's. The wings are outstanding and only 60 cents each. Every meal I have had here was great or better. Great service. Decent parking. Can't wait to try the chicken and the steaks. Might be a steak & egg Sunday coming up. read more

I came here a few months ago and I ordered a burger with fries. It took them a very long time and when I got the burger I bit into it and it was raw. My sister got chicken tenders and they dropped them on the floor. My brother got a steak he asked for medium rare but they gave him well done. I really don't recommend this place because right after I ate, I felt really sick and they didn't give us a refund. That was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant before. read more

got their famous corned beef and cabbage. the meat was almost 80% fat. good thing I don't each much for meat. If meat is your thing and you like it lean, don't get the corned beef. was ok. I had a lot better. Next time I will get their chicken. that is a definite 5. read more

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years. was my favorite place. not no more. today we went there. my daughter ordered the omelet, it was raw inside, slimy and runny and my fries were white. nasty and glandular as well as my grandson's fries. His sandwich was perfect. grilled cheese, nothing but perfection there, my burger was as dry as a hockey puck. I could not even eat it. I felt like I was chocking on every bite. read more
