When the sound coming from our washing machine sounded like the machine that Kramer from the Seinfeld TV Comedy series dumped cement in, I knew it was time to start shopping. With all due respect to retailers of these products, when you add the cost of a new wash machine, delivery and installation charges you are looking at a sizable investment. I also knew that my purchase of a washboard as was used many years ago would not suffice for a daughter that runs a full cycle for a handkerchief. However since we are moving in a few months with no plans on taking the washing machine, stores that sell refurbished, open box, scratch and dent appliances seemed a viable option. I located one a short distance from my home and decided to see what was available. I checked the reviews of the many outlets and ASA Appliances with all 5 star reviews was my choice. With not much of a storefront I walked in and met owner Victoria. Her customer service convinced me I made the right choice. She walked me back into the cavernous building and pointed to a machine that fit the description I had discussed with her. The honest price that included delivery, installation and removal of my non functional washer had me satisfied and signing paperwork for delivery. The final surprise was supplied by her worker Alfredo. Within less than 30 minutes of his arrival, my washer was on his truck, the new machine installed and working and he handed me my long lost pen he found when removing the old machine. I am so glad that we did because I love that you can book online for the next day and they are so communicative with their scheduling and technicians that I was always in the know. Chris C. was our technician and he came and diagnosed the bad pump and said it would take 2-3 days after ordering the part but it just took the next day for him to come back out and do the job in less than an hour and run a cycle to make sure it was working instead of just leaving. They told me how long it would take to get the parts (3 days) and how much each part would cost. They ordered both parts so they would have them with them and texted me in 2 days to set up the next day appointment. They arrived within the 3 hour appointment window and replaced the relay board in about 45 minutes. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. They were awesome and was able to come over within 1 day. They determined the issue was with a computer board inside and the the job was authorized by the warranty company. They were very easy to deal with for times of service since I work until 4pm and they came over well after that....I didn't have to take time off of work. Well, it wasn't the computer board, but the technician didn't leave the house until he figured it out...and he did! I am so happy they came over and were contracted.
