I had to wait a few days for my system to be installed (during a very hot time frame) which had nothing to do with the company, it was all on my part. I am disabled and my meds make the heat unbearable. Tim had his guys come out and put a couple of windw units in to get my family through the wait. They did not charge a single extra penny for the courtesy they provided, not even labor for the time his guys were here. As far as estimates go, I got three of them. He was almost $2,000 cheaper than the next closest estimate for the exact same unit! He also threw in a programmable thermostat for free. His crew - all I can say is they are outstanding. Signed an approval and said the tech was not to talk to the tenant. Get started and I would be there within the hour. When I got there the tech had not started and had told the tenant he was there to do the dryer vent. She was upset. He then told me the $99 was only for a dyer vent. I told him I ordered duct cleaning. He said that would be $450. I called the office, they said it was up to him. I complained and they said they would ask him to give me a discount because of the confusion. He refused and then told me, in front of the tenant because he had to wait for me he might not be able to do it all and would have to reschedule. The tenant called the prop. mgmt. company very angry. I agreed to pay the $450 and he started and then told me- in front of the tenant the ducts had mold and rust in them. This was the worst experience I have had with a duct cleaning company, and I have used several. I will NEVER use Clean Air again.
