They responded to my text amazingly fast. I texted them early Sunday morning around 7 AM. Told me someone would be coming by 11-1 PM. I thought that was awesome. BTW not a fan of AI, but their AI call center is amazing. 1 PM (name withheld) shows up with his tool bag and walks in. He seemed to be in a hurry on the way in and on the way out. He pulls the refrigerator off the wall, does (something?) Pushes it back and tells me "my compressor is dead". He sends me an estimate for $1046.78. I place $100 cash down to get repairs booked so I now owe $946.78 on a "dead compressor" repair. He then scoots out the door after maybe 15 minutes. Knowing a compressor failure is a costly failure, it caused us quite a bit of stress. I decided, against the advice of my wife, to still give ProStar a try. She was ready to cancel repairs and buy a new costly refrigerator which I talked her out of because I know almost all brands are garbage except for Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid. Here comes Shawn on Tuesday. Super guy, diagnosed the problem correctly with pictures for me, got to the part that was actually malfunctioning (freezer fan assembly with faulty sensor causing a big block of ice over it) and got it back up running for way less than "a dead compressor" like "expert" (name withheld) said. $481 bill plus my $100 deposit. I'm giving you all 4-5 stars because of the initial poor customer service I got.

I have informed AHS never to send A & S Appliance to my home again. My situation is still not resolved. I spoke with AHS, and they need to find another company to address the issues. If you don't have AHS, don't waste your money on this company. They have a bad attitude, are rude, and display a sense of entitlement. I should have known something was wrong after the second visit. Hooked up the meter and checked it out. replaced the part and all was well. Timely and efficient service. unfortunately, we had them back out twice as the issued wasn't 100% resolved. But they came back both times and worked the problem until resolved. no extras, no extra fees. Works great now. 5 stars to the Refrigerator crew!! after such positive success with the fridge, we called Premier for their dishwasher team. we were able to order and replace the needed parts ourselves with LGs great website and video assistance. however, one problem remained that continues to elude repair. I guess the dishwasher guy took offense because of our initiative to do the majority of the repair. He tried quoting a repair and parts fee sight unseen that was not at all what was needed. Then hewas belligerent about coming out to do a diagnostic, quoting the fee for that. We were asking for that help, so we're already to pay for it! This the consult. When he finally comes, he doesn't do a diagnostic with the computer system at all. He runs it a few minutes, makes a few guesses, then leaves. Charged us for his "expertise." Problem not solved. 0 stars for the dishwasher guys.

I walked in and the owner is busy running around loading, fixing, verifying various appliances. The front of the store is set up with great quality products but he didn't have a receptionist so I was patient. When he came to me, I told him what I was looking for because the refrigerators in the front were too big for what I needed and out of my small budget. He walked me to the back and showed me the perfect one. He delivered it the next day (he is a one man shop-loads and delivers by himself if it is not being picked up.) I called the next day thinking there was a problem with the fridge but it was a user error and although he knew it was simple, he still came at the end of his day to come show me TWICE! (1st time was programing the fridge, 2nd was my error of plugging in the microwave and fridge in the same outlet. ‍‍ I can't imagine how tough it might be for him to have to deliver to people when they don't live close. Without staff to help, he basically is leaving his business and potentially losing customers. I am very close so it was easier, but early morning or end of day is about the only time he has to be able to deliver or service what people buy if there is an issue.
