Appliance Oasis is a Great place to buy an appliance! I had a great time with the salesman (sorry I forgot his name) comparing features on various models of Dishwashers, and put one on order. Dylan coordinated the delivery and installation and was Awesome at communicating everything. Then came the installation...it went Great with Jacob doing the work!!! It wasn't all that easy because we have an old place; but he got the old one out and installed the new one just fine. Then, we had to make further arrangements to have some of the kitchen tiles slightly cut so it would fit perfectly because the tiles only went up to the old dishwasher, not all the way to the wall. Best customer service I have ever had in San Luis! I bought "open box" washer and dryer units online from them for a rental house. Always a risk purchasing big ticket items sight unseen... Delivery was scheduled for the next day- they removed the old ones and installed the new. During a test run, the dryer drum was very noisy, however, Appliance Oasis returned it to their shop and replaced it with a new one. Unbelievable! They sent me a new invoice for the same amount with an updated model number. I have purchased from them in the past and am a customer for life now!! read more

I am finally getting around to this, so I do apologize for the delay. However, my roommates and I had a VERY negative experience here. They sold us an immediately faulty dryer, came once to attempt to fix it, did not fix it, and when we called back, the manager at the time accused me of being "a liar and trying to scam [them] out of money by trying to get a free repair". (I tipped them anyway because that is what I stand for.) I have NEVER been treated that way, much less by someone trying to run a business. I was nothing but professional, polite, and collected. He was also extremely condescending because he knew I was a college student, (though he couldn't have been much older). The entire experience left me shaking. It was completely uncalled for, especially considering the fact that they were the ones seeming to scam us. Again, this was awhile ago now, so hopefully the management has changed, but this review has been hanging over my head for way too long because it is not in my nature to give someone a negative review. read more

I ended up going with their refurbished models a Kenmore 700 series dryer and an 800 series washer. (Both are humming along just fine.) importantly though, they made me feel welcomed and were honest and inviting from the second I walked in. This place is a great place to purchase a new out of the box appliance that may have a cosmetic issue at a discounted price; its like the TJMaxx of appliances. For example, I was recently on the hunt for a dishwasher with the false fallacy dishwashers cost about $400. I was so wrong and quickly realized dishwashers can run much more than that. I knew which model I wanted and I was waiting for 4th of July sales to snap one up. On a random Saturday, I happened to be in SLO and stopped in just to see what they had on the floor. What do you know, there it was; the dishwasher I wanted, and at a discounted price. I had it delivered about a week later by a nice man named, Joseph. I took off one star because during instalation, it was realized there wasn't a power cord, or counter mounting hooks which come with the product. read more

Appliance Oasis is near my home. Shortly after the Covid scare was in full bloom, my refrigerator was replaced. I had no strength to move it myself. Appliance Oasis came and easily got the old, broken down refrigerator out. The men were respectful and conscious of the then new protocols for Covid awareness. I decided to again support local business by going to them to get the over the stove microwave replaced. I compared and priced units comparable with other businesses; Appliance Oasis was hands-down the lowest. Part of this is due to the appliances being damaged in transit somehow (my unit had a small scratch on the side - that doesn't even show after they mounted it!). Again, their workers were respectful and conscientious. The turntable mount didn't work properly, and it took two returns to fit it correctly. They did this without grousing at me either in the office or when the men showed up with options, one of which worked perfectly. Great team! read more

What a great experience I just had with App Oasis! Fridge died yesterday, on a Sat. afternoon - not many options at that point. Found A. O. on Yelp and bee-lined over to check out what they had on hand. I was helped immediately by Verne who asked what I was looking for, then led me to a fridge that had just come in! It was perfect! Not only was this almost new appliance just what we needed, it was priced just right, too. (I'm sure he could have sold it for more). It gets better... instead of regular delivery on Tuesday, Verne went above and beyond to deliver it to us the next day, a Sunday (AND phoned ahead - he was ready for us earlier in the day than we had planned). We called out Appliance Oasis to repair an electric dryer which had stopped heating. There was an extraordinary amount of lint, and the technician said that was the problem. He refused to clean it out of the back of the dryer to check it saying that it could start a fire if he did. So we unplugged it and cleaned it. That was not the problem, although we are grateful that we were made aware of the situation. The tech charged $189.95 for the service call to tell us there was dryer lint. Now the dryer still needs diagnosing and fixing. Worst "service" call ever. read more

We have a whirlpool Commercial Washer that was not draining. They sent a repair person out to look at and determine that it was the locking mechanism on the door. He replace it and still not draining. So far 500.00 dollars into and ask us if we would like them to conito work on it. We said no. The problem was a sock was stuck in the pump motor. I've used this Appliance Oasis before to purchase multiple washers & dryers. If you're looking for used cheap appliances then it's a decent place to find them. BUT when it comes to their service department it's a complete RIP OFF and their tech's are marginal at best. For years they have charged a $150 service fee to even come out and look at your appliance for diagnosis, any work done & parts is on top of that price. The first time my dryer broke, I explained to them exactly what was happening, when the tech came out he said "yep you're right" and told me it would be cheaper to buy a new dryer than to fix it. The whole process took under 10 minutes and he asked for the $150 check which I paid. When he drove off I stood there feeling fleeced when I already knew the info he confirmed. Fast forward, my oven is acting up, I give them a call and now their service fee is $185 (LOL) to come out and tell me my oven is not working. I'm not falling for this bs again. The guy on the phone said gas prices are up etc, also lol it's a rip off!! I called the next company on Google where I got a polite lady who said they only charge a $99 service fee and that the fee applies to the overall cost of the repair - which is not the case with Appliances Oasis - and that's how it should be. There is no reason to pay $180 to have a booger eating repair guy drive 10 miles to tell me what I already know. I won't be using this company any longer. Fool me once that's fine, but you're not going to fool me twice! read more

I would leave a 0 if I could. Don't ever buy a used appliance from Appliance Oasis. The owner Vernon is quite charming but does not honor his word nor does he have the courtesy to return phone calls. I bought a used dryer and it went out after 55 days, had to pay a service fee for them to come out to fix a dryer they could not fix. I basically spent $230 for 55 days to use a useless dryer. Wow oh wow this place is absolutely amazing. I heard about it when I was complaining to a friend I had to buy a washer and dryer for the house I'm moving into. They had a large selection and all of them are in really good condition. They always test out all the appliances first as well as clean them before going out on the floor. The guys there are very knowledgeable and very kind. I'm in love with my washer and dryer! I also went back a couple weeks after to get a refrigerator. Sears screwed me over and decided to completely cancel my order without telling me or giving a reason why. They forgot to tighten a hose under the dishwasher, now he had to rip out our kitchen again probably have to wait another 6 months before it's done. I got a fridge in September for my little barn apartment for under $200. Then it started to leak a couple months later, they came out and didn't charge me saying my freezer was too stuffed. Two months after that it starts not being cold, at this point I have a newborn so all the food people have been bringing me is going bad so I'm pissed. I call them and they come out and try to fix it but say the fridge is dying. I'm freaking out thinking I'm gonna have to go buy a brand new fridge from another store but they come back the next day with a replacement fridge no charge, and deliver it for me so I don't even lift a finger. Bought a washer for $175. Brought it to my kids rental and hooked it up. Seemed to work ok, but low and behold the dial (timer) failed to advance. Called the up and they came RIGHT out at 5:00 on a Saturday afternoon! Impressed. Brought a new part with them. Tested the washer and my diagnosis was correct...bad timer. But they professionally installed the new part and tested it to make sure it worked and it did. As a parent on a visit, it was huge that this was taken care of as it was.
