This place is basically a front end that forwards your orders to a regional warehouse. They do provide some good videos but once they forward the order they don't seem to consider it their problem. You'll learn all you need to know by googling their location address. In my case an in-stock part they said would ship on Monday and arrive on Tuesday is at least a week late. Couldn't cancel the order on Tuesday when it hadn't arrived as promised. Couldn't cancel when I waited 20 minutes on the phone to talk to an agent who claimed it was shipping that day. Couldn't cancel on Friday (20 more minutes on hold) when it still hadn't even been shipped And as for their return policy? Have fun because you will not be refunded the original shipping AND you'll pay for shipping it back to them. And perhaps a coincidence, but I rarely provide my actual credit card number when placing an order, and the day after I called their customer service is when I had found fraud charges for over $1600 placed on the card I used for the order. EDIT: I gave one star back because the order did finally ship shortly after my second phone call. I know shipping and distribution issues happen, but giving out false information is inexcusable. I was looking for a cooling fan replacement for my refrigerator in the rental condo and guys had a part that I needed in stock. They suggested to get a better quality part so it can last longer, with more warranty on it and the value on it was pretty good compared to other sources. I just had a great experience with AppliancePartsPros. My LG dryer was broken. It started making a horrible screeching noise. I knew it would be expensive to have a repair technician come out, and it was out of warranty, so I started searching online for what might be wrong and how to fix it. I found some helpful videos online and it seemed clear that the issue was probably one of several things: bad rollers (most likely), a bad belt (less likely), or a bad idler pulley. Several of the videos recommended buying the parts aftermarket on Amazon, which would have been pretty inexpensive, but after reading some more I decided that it made sense to get OEM parts. I found AppliancePartsPros online, and ordered everything I needed, which they said were all OEM. I assume that's true. Everything arrived on time, and I was able to do the repair myself. It was a little daunting - especially when I had all the parts of my dryer laying across my living room floor - but I was able to get it put back together and now it works fine. It turned out that one of the four rollers went bad - it had gotten stuck and a large portion of the rubber was burned off. I replaced the bad roller. The others worked fine, so I left them in place. I returned the belt and the idler pulley assembly to AppliancePartsPros (I did not open the bags they came in), and I promptly received a full refund for the unused parts. I would definitely order from AppliancePartsPros again in the future. Only one minor complaint - the parts they sent had a really bad smell of moth balls. I guess that's something they need to do in their warehouse, but I was very happy to get the packaging out of my house as quickly as possible. read more

Do not recommend. Will not allow return of unused product. We ordered a shelf for our refrigerator. This part was advertised on their website to work in our refrigerator. When we tried to put it in, we found it didn't fit at all. We contacted them to return it, and were told that since it had been "installed" they wouldn't take it back. First, understand this is a plastic drawer. Nothing more. It can be "installed" a hundred times and still look like new. Second, and more importantly, how the heck would we know it didn't fit unless we tried it? It was advertised to fit by them, and when it didn't they won't take it back. I am thinking how this company get all 5 star reviews from most of its customers. I am not sure whether it is manipulated or not. I ordered two items from them which refrigerator compressor start relay each average costing around $ 125 totaling almost $250. The items purchased are not compatible with the fridge thus thinking I can return. Their policy says used one cannot be returned. Just open the plastic and placed for a minute is turned to be used and cannot be sent. They are saying once placed on our household appliances for a minute treated as used. Fast shipping. I was looking for a defrost timer and I can't get it in Canada because it would be 2 to 3 times more expensive. $10 USD vs $30 Cdn. Appliance Parts Pro will only ship to a US address. So get a US postal box. I do a lot of appliances repair myself. This includes stove, fridge, fans and etc. I order quite a bit of back up parts from Appliance Parts Pros. So far no complain. The tip here is that you need to understand the issue and what part or parts you need. My issue was the fridge defrosting cycle was off and I had removed the inside freezer backing and it was frozen icy. So right off the bat, I knew what the issue was. I have never requested a refund from Appliance Parts Pros so I don't know the refund policy very well. Ordered a part to fix a Samsung Washing Machine. After reviewing the repair video, we decided it was a job over our heads. Did not take the part out of the box, did not use. The returned was APPROVED as per their requirement with their attached shipping label I purchased . It has been over a month and no credit to my account. When I call to inquire, I am told that they are processing my return and the warehouse is behind. They credited a small item that I did not return. I have used them in the past for refrigerator parts, etc. Will not use them again or recommend. I will now have to open a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and comment on every site I can find. UPDATE: After calling Appliance Parts Pro one last time, I happen to talk to someone who cared about making the return right. I did receive a credit to my account. I've used this service several times, but it is really hit or miss with what their suggestions are for the replacement parts. I've used them for handles, doors, heating elements, control panels, heat sensors, and a magnetron. I have had a 50/50 success rate with their service. When the parts do not work, they will replace them with out charging you for shipping and pay for the return label. They will take back parts if they do not fix your problem. The prices on the parts are hit or miss too. I've ordered some items which repaired the problem and I spent less than $50. Other times I've spent up to $300 and none of it worked. I do not care for the quality of the agents who assist you either over the phone or in chat. Several of them have been rude during their communication with me. Not all of them are bad, but the ones who are rude are terrible and there should be some sort of control in place to monitor their quality of customer service. Again, it's 50/50 with the service. Sometimes it is cheaper just to buy a new appliance rather than spend $400 on parts. read more

I have completed several repairs myself, including replacing a leaking cold water reservoir in our fridge, replacing a leaking water valve solenoid on the fridge, replacing an element on an air cleaner, and I just ordered a new snubber ring and a spring kit to stop my 20-year-old Maytag washer from walking around the laundry room. The repair videos are excellent and make planning and completing the repairs very simple. I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I was looking for a grease filter to replace the old one & so I decided to use this place. When I received the filter, immediately I noticed how poorly it was packaged. The filter was bent & I couldn't use it even if I tried to make it work. I requested a second filter to replace the damaged one I originally ordered. They sent me a new one. I sent them pics of the first filter to show them how poorly it was shipped. So I thought that second one would be packaged better. Nope. Wrong! Same packaging. Same damage. Unusable. So disappointed. Even if I could make it work, the filter material is so cheaply made. It definitely wasn't worth it. By the way, didn't get my money back either. I can't really rate the switch that I purchased on quality or value because I do not know if it is a genuine Samsung part or not. The Samsung DG44-01002A switch that was advertised on GRP website was a blue Invensys switch. The broken switch in my range is the same blue Invensys switch. The switch that I received from GRP was a white Robert Shaw. It was repackaged from a bulk shipment of 50 switches and placed in an unsealed plastic bag with a generic sticker on it. There was nothing on the sticker that said Samsung. There is nothing on the part that says Samsung either. I tried to get some information from GRP that would prove that this part came from Samsung, but my request was refused. All GRP told me was to trust them. So if you really want a Samsung part with a Samsung sticker on the sealed plastic bag, then buy it from someone else. read more

Easy order verification and they fail, all they need to do is pick up the phone to verify an order and they fail at that. I waited on hold for 30 minutes (supposedly 1st in line), total waste of time. If the management at this company can't figure out how to expeditiously process new orders, just think how they fail in other areas. I placed my order with another company, who I called and they answered quickly and were very helpful. While APP did call me back for verification ( an hour or so later) and did follow up with emails, I suggest going elsewhere. To management, your emails stating that my order was possible fraud should be improved simply by allowing a phone number that is streamlined to an order processing unit. Your emails lack anything other than calling your main number, not even what option to press once a customer calls. This is a fail. Why not call the customer? Why not provide a order line just for customers who have placed orders needing verification? I applaud you for using a live help feature, that worked fine and your agent got me to the right part. But your inability to detect fraud orders effectively is making you loose money. My order was not on a VPN, it was from a static IP from my home state and even address. I used an email I have had since 1994. You need to invest in software/backend order system that allows you to analyze orders effectively, if you flagged my order I'm sure you are flagging way to many. Most companies like Stripe even have it built into their system. So there's no excuse. You are operating your Internet Business like it's 2001. read more
