My cooktop shorted out and I ordered a new one off Amazon. I've never worked with gas appliances so I looked into getting a professional to install it. I jumped on yelp and used the request a quote option. I was able to send the request to several appliance installers at the same time. He arrived early (gave me early notice too) and finished promptly. He was professional and kept the work area clean. Additionally, he peeked at the other appliances in the house and made some recommendations, including not to fix my refrigerator but rather the repair would be half the cost of a new one so it wasn't worth it. Tad came out to diagnosis a broken LG dryer. Even though he was 99% sure it was a failed control board, he still took the time to take apart the whole thing to be sure there wasn't an easier or cheaper fix. The dryer wasn't worth fixing, but he still put his time in to be 100% sure. He even fixed a clog in my washer as he was packing up even though that wasn't why I called. Honest, knowledgeable, timely--everything you could ask for in a repair person. I will definitely be calling him again. read more

Tad is the best appliance service man I ever met. I have previous service man at different company to fix my dryer. That guy only replaced the broken wheel roller where there is a set of 4 wheels. I asked him to replace the other three but he refused to do it. Couple months later, my dryer broke again due to the other wheels broken. I don't trust that company anymore, so I called Appliance Solutions. Tad came and fixed my dryer with replace all the wheels. Couple weeks later, my dryer was making weird sound, and I asked Tad came back to check it out. He came and found out that the parts he used had quality issue. The part quality is out of his control. Our Kitchenaid oven would not turn off. Since we don't have a regular appliance repair person we went to Yelp for help. Appliance Solutions has a great rating so I requested a quote. Tad from Appliance Solutions responded quickly and was able to come to my house that very day to see what the problem was. He arrived at the promised time and was able to determine that we needed a new circuit board. He ordered the part, but didn't want to schedule another date until he could verify it was the correct part. He asked if any other appliances needed anything. He was genuinely concerned since all the appliances are the same age. He gave us advise on what to do and what not to do to care for our appliances as well as which ones were worth fixing and which weren't.
