What a HUGE mistake I made by using this "company". I'm not even 100% sure it is a legit company. Background: way back in February, we reserved a 2022 Mercedes to take our son and his girlfriend to a concert in the city. VERY well in advance. Pickup was supposed to be 6pm and drop off was going to be 2am. The concert began at 8pm. So they wanted to get there will in advance. The day came (a few weeks ago) and 6pm came... And nothing.. 6:15pm and no one. Now I'm at work and the calls begin to come in frantically. My wife called the owner and he said he had no record of the trip and hung up on her. Then after I texted him, he said the driver had an emergency and another driver is on his way and they will get there in plenty of time. So now he already flat out lied from the get go. I finally get home from work at 7pm and my son and girlfriend are still there. Knowing traffic in the city, this isn't looking good. I text him at 7:15pm and I receive absolutely no answer. Now I'm thinking that I'm going to have to drive these kids into the city and bring them home. At 7:30, a beat up, filthy Suburban pulls up. It's not the driver's fault, so I just firmly ask that he is going to wait for them and bring them home. My son said the inside was not clean. The outside was disgusting, being VERY dirty and obviously in multiple accidents. Somehow I paid for a 2022 Mercedes and would up with a banged up, beat up 2015 (at best) Suburban. Needless to say, they were late for the concert. I paid for 6pm -2am. They got picked up at 7:30pm and was home at 12:45am. No refund. No apology. Nothing. Avoid this service at all costs. You've been warned in advance. He flat out scammed me (and others from the reviews that I have read). I had used this gentleman twice with great results. I planned with him for a third ride for Labor Day evening to JFK from upstate (knowing that would be difficult; and agreed to pay a higher price). His third party car did not show up. The third party car refused to give a location or timing. The driver never called and didn't care. I very anxiously was trying to get someone to tell me what was happening; this gentleman said find another ride and I will refund you. After being 60 minutes late I had to scramble to get a Lyft. Please nobody use this service . It's a total scam and will take your money and say oh my driver couldn't locate you. I did not care about the money that I was scammed out of but that he was aware it was for a pick up for kids and elderly people from the airport. I hired April Delilah for a recent trip out of JFK. I began my search on Yelp and received an immediate response. The price was reasonable and lower than other quotes I received. I spoke with Anthony the owner and confirmed round trip. The driver, Parnell was early. Our flight was delayed and he waited for 2 hours. Picked up our bags and brought the to the SUV. It was a 2018 Suburban which immaculate and. large enough for my family of 5 and all of our luggage. We were dropped off right at the baggage. Anthony confirmed the pick up for the return trip and again, Parnell was great. I was sent an invoice via text and was able to pay at my convenience. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so because of the AMAZING service I received from April Delilah transportation services. About last weekend my partner and I decided to do a quick "before the end of summer" getaway to the city. We decided to stay in a hotel in the city. Due to Covid we were a bit leery regarding taking public transportation and taxis; so we searched through Yelp looking for a car service. We contacted April Delilah transportation. Our driver Anthony showed up 30 minutes prior to the agreed time in the cleanest Cadillac XTS that I've ever seen and to make matters even better it had snacks! Anthony drove us around the city for about 5 to 6 hours while we literally shopped around and had an amazing lunch while he waited for us to finish. He was EXTREMELY professional, well dressed and very attentive to our needs; as well as very patient. When I called for a quote not only did I get a prompt response, but the quote was amazing! All I can say is thanks a million to April and Delilah transportation for an amazing trip! The car service we received actually made the trip even better. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! We booked a 15 passenger Mercedes sprinter van for the day and it didn't show up. We waited at the airport for over an hour and kept being told they were on their way. The owner finally told me they weren't coming. He subcontracted it out and the subcontractor didn't show. But that's not the worst of it. Received a text at 8pm confirming information for a 2:30am pickup but never received any communication. Had to scramble to get an Uber at 3:30am. So had one good experience and one awful experience. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to April Delilah Transportation. At Very last minute ( literally days before ) I was able to book with them a party bus for my sisters sweet 16 celebration. Let me just start off by saying the communication for services was really a 10 out of 10 . I was provided the best rate around , with a brand New 2021 bus which was totally unbelievable, along with every other demand I had for that day . I'm so happy they were able to accommodate my every need with all the pleasure in the world . The party bus not only came decorated it came with refreshments which was totally unexpected and so kind ! Driver was Outside on time and was also the nicest person ever . He made me feel so comfortable with anything I had asked for and believe me it was a lot lol .
