The service was great. Unfortunately the price was not worth it. The lady asked what my budget was, I said $50 expecting some beautiful bouquet and after receiving the bouquet I am extremely disappointed. I should've stuck to supporting a vendor I would've gotten a lot more flowers and a better looking arrangement. I'm really bummed that $50 it got me 3 roses and these filler flowers.

They were so nice and sweet. Bought some flowers for my sister there they're extremely beautiful. Had them for a week now and they still smell and look fresh. Went in and gave them a very vague description of what I wanted and they made me a beautiful bouquet more amazing than I could imagine. Definitely coming back in the future.

I'm so glad I chose April Flowers to do a corsage and boutonniere for my sons prom! I'm new to the process and Veronica was so helpful. I didn't know what to expect, but I pulled up an image online of an orchid corsage (didn't want to go with roses as we wanted something different). Come here for ALL my flower needs. Mother's Day, valentines day, birthday's, just because it's Wednesday. Lol. The flowers are always fresh and vibrant. They have pre-made bouquets but will gladly build one for you if you want to customize it. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I ordered the Pretty in Pink flower arrangement and the Ferrero Rocher Chocolate add-on as a birthday give for my mother. I paid extra for the premium version of the arrangement, and it was worth it. The arrangement my mother received was stacked with beautiful pink roses and lilies. They smelled so nice and my mother loved it. The service from April Flowers was also great. I received a courtesy call from the florist before they prepared the arrangement to check on the color preference for the flowers, which I appreciated. They were delivered within the timeframe I requested as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I am very pleased with the flowers. Highly recommend! read more

I called this place looking for casa Blanca Lilly's for delivery. They said they didn't have them but would build me what I needed for the date I needed it for and they did, this is after me call three other place's in the area. Great place I also found out that my girlfriends 100 year grandfather Marcos Rodriguez would also go here and buy flowers for grandma and other occasions. Great service and very helpful group of people. I recommend this place I keep my money with local family owed businesses. Please call them for your next flower needs. read more

This small shop is very carrying and passionate. It shows in their work, but most importantly in their customer service. Mike is always so attentive of his customers wether you are a drifter and there for a quick stop or remembers your face from being a regular you will always get the same quality customer service. I travel 10+ miles for these flowers my local florist cannot compete with the quality and customer service. Mike takes the customers consideration very seriously and offer great suggestions and alternatives. If you are in need of some beautiful quality flowers this is the best spot. These prices are astronomically high. How high? $85.95 for a bouquet of flowers in a vase high. Not only were the price is high but the service was subpar. Horrific attitude, bad odor in the building, and extremely bad service This is a perfect place if you are looking to buy overpriced, dead flowers. Sad, disappointing, and just plain wrong. OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Yay, day before Mother's Day and I was able to get this beautiful arrangement for my mom and one for my MIL too. Such a bright & pretty arrangement! The moms were super happy. I went back a couple days later to order a graduation money lei and stuffed penguin. Once again, April Flowers did a great job and such fast service. My niece loved the money lei and wore it the whole time for family pictures. No hassle ordering in person and over the phone and easy, safe pick up. Social distancing & masks inside shop. They usually have bouquets in the fridge but ORDER AHEAD of TIME for special occasions because they do get busy and can sell out. I am so incredibly grateful to Mike and April Flowers for making such a beautiful arrangement for the funeral of my best friend's mom. I live out of state and called my order in. Mike took the time to go through some of the arrangements with me on their website before I decided on an arrangement. Because you never know what you will get when ordering from out of state, I asked Mike if he would send me a picture of the arrangement before it was delivered to the church. Cruising down Whittier Blvd (thanks Johhny Chingas), I always pass April Flowers en route to In-N-Out. Long story short, I decided to stop by a few days ago on whim, call it curiosity... Entering this super unassuming store, I was warmly greeted by very polite employee (most likely owner / operator). Very kitsch and well appointed, April Flowers has everything one needs to light up a smile. The counter person helped me pick a wonderful arrangement for the wife, was super engaged and helpful, all aces in my book. Not to mention, pricing was spot-on! Besides heading home, a burger craving, or remnant errands, I have a new reason to cruise down Whittier Blvd. read more

First and foremost... THANK YOU for the beautiful arrangement today Mike, my Mother loved it. When I walked in I was greeted by Mike almost immediately asking me if I wanted to see any pre made arrangements they had that early afternoon. I saw a few that were within my budget, but not exactly what I was going for. Without hesitation, Mike offered to make a custom arrangement with the flowers of my liking or he could come up with something. He asked what the occasion was and what budget I was working with and went to work on making something custom for my mom on her bday. I asked for something colorful and fun and man... he delivered. It was full of color and really vibrant. Before he wrapped it, he made sure I was happy with it. I joking told him... "what if I said I didn't like it" Laughlin... he assured me he would change it up to make sure I was happy with it. Truth be told, I'm usually a guy that would buy flowers for 10 bucks at Walmart or some big box store. The same lady has helped me on all three of my visits, and she is very knowledgeable. I can show her an inspiration photo, and she immediately knows exactly what flowers I'm looking for. She'll even walk me through how many bunches I'll need and what to order to create the arrangement I have in mind. I really appreciate that she takes the time to explain everything and makes the whole process so easy, including tips on how to keep the flowers fresh for longer. Also, even if the flowers aren't physically at the shop, they'll do their best to bring them in for you. For example, I was recently looking for peonies, and other florists were quoting me around $28 per stem--which adds up VERY quickly! Here, they were able to quote me a much more reasonable price and help me figure out exactly what I needed. They also have ribbons, vases, and other essentials that make it convenient when you're putting together your own arrangements. However, once we got back and started working on arrangements, I was honestly disappointed. About a quarter of the white hydrangeas had noticeable browning and signs of rot. I had no choice but to cut around the damaged areas, which significantly reduced what I could use especially frustrating considering the cost. For reference, 50 hydrangeas (25 white, 25 blue) came out to $185, so I expected better quality control. Overall, the convenience and customer service were there, but the flower quality at least in my experience did not match the price. Oh and the hydrangeas started to wilt by the second day. *This was a last minute purchase as my online delivery order had a unforeseen delivery delay.

I'm not a weekly flower buying guy, so I can't comment on price - but these flowers really came in super nice. Maybe the best, freshest and among the best arranged ever. I am still, very impressed. We are on our 4th day, and they are still looking great. Still sending out the fragrance. the wife called and asked how to preserve the flowers, and they were still very nice and offered advice.
