They really do not speak any type of English. Had a problem with the customer coming in to complain when I was there it cost me $90 just for me and one of the person plus a $10 tip not worth it. They don't take your time on you or make you feel comfortable. read more

I've never done a yelp review before. In fact, I think yelp is terrible, but my experience at April's Nails goes beyond my disdain for this app. I went in for a fill, and to replace one gel overlay that came off. The lady decided all of them needed to come off, and I said okay, you're the professional. Next, she violently pried each one off with an acrylic tip, cutting right into three of my nail beds, causing two to bleed. It hurt terribly. I sat there and tried not to react because she's the professional, right? Had soaking them in acetone not crossed her mind? Not too add too much personal fire to the flame, but I was getting my nails done for my mother's upcoming funeral. She said, come back in two weeks and I'll do your nails. I'll be damned if I walk in there again. I'm all about supporting small businesses in my neighborhood, but buyer beware. I guess if you sit still and don't scream when blood is coming out of your nails, they just keep going. read more

This place charged me $70 for a regular mani pedi. On their menu, it is $50 and up, but I didn't even ask for any extra service, I didn't even get color on my fingers or toes. Just wanted a simple clean up. She said it's 70 because of a pedicure massage but I didn't ask for it, I just thought she was doing it because pedicures usually come with a quick massage. worst service ever! so unprofessional! extremely rude. i asked for a fill and she completely took my nails off!!!! cut me and burned me with the drill may I add. proceeded to give me a new set I showed her a picture of what I wanted done, and she did a complete different shape and design not all what I asked for. My mom and I DID NOT have a good experience here. I brought her here for a Mother's day treat thinking she'd love getting her nails done at this salon today. We've been here in the past and the times before were alright. Going in I didn't have super high expectations because I know it's not a high class place. I expected a little more hospitality and decent nails. I am super upset because of the awful experience we had this time. New staff here is super rude, aggressive with your hands and don't know how to properly do acrylic nails. The staff here constantly try to pressure you into getting extra services that cost more and they get mad when you say no. I included pictures to show the bumps, air bubbles, uneven painting, crookedness, thickness of the nails, and lengths that don't match up. They align your fingers when cutting to make them even length so I'm not sure why none of my nails match the length to the one on the other hand. Before they did my mom's nails they told her how much it would be for the length she asked for and afterwards they charged her extra for "long length" when they gave her nails that are super short like way shorter than the ones I got!!! They argued with us about the price so we just paid for the overpriced rush jobs we had received and left. I won't be back here ever again!!! read more

I'm giving them two stars with hopes that the one male who can do nails at this location stays employed there. I haven't been going to this nail shop but one time on a Sunday I went and saw a male who did my SNS manicure. He did a technique I hadn't had before and did a great job! I went again yesterday but saw another male who did a poor job. My nails look like they have at least a week of growing out. They are not consistent and have rough spots and spots missing with the SNS powder. I expressed to him while he was doing my nails how I wasn't happy. He tried fixing but spent so much time tying to fix and www angry that I wasn't happy with the sloppy job he started to buff them out too much and caused more dents and uneven areas in my nails. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could give 0 I would. I usually get my toes done here and I never have a problem. Today my boyfriend took me to her mine and his done. They sat us down and gave my boyfriend cold water for his feet. I asked the lady that was doing my toes to give him hot water, she proceeded to give him cold water and ignored what I had asked... moments later she finished filing and cutting my toes and got up to grab the hot stones, before she continued I asked if she could clean the old nail polish off my toes, even them out and clean the ingrown toe nails. The filed them a little bit but didn't take the left over nail polish off and I still had ingrown toe nails but continued to put hot stones on my dry skin. I asked her if she was going to put oil or lotion and she said no.... it actually really hurt ... This was within an hour of being there and my boyfriend still wasn't being serviced. I asked my boyfriend if we should go and he said yes, I let the lady know we weren't pleased but insisted that we stay to fix my toes. I let them know that I wouldn't be paying for a service that was incomplete and done wrong. The lady that was servicing me went to block the door as the owner approached me and demanded me to pay for a massage that never happened. We walked away and as we approached the door the lady who serviced me block us and said we couldn't leave. They let two other customers out so we followed. I went here today to get a pedicure with a gift certificate that was purchased for me as a birthday gift. When I walked in I said I have a gift certificate and I pulled out the flyer which the gift certificate was enclosed in the girl said OK no problem and had me sit down. As far as the pedicure itself went it was perfect. The place I normally go to get my nails done closed early today (4pm) & I was in desperate need of a gel polish change. My daughter also wanted a full acrylic set. Her friend told her about this place. I'm skeptical about going other that where I'm comfortable but, I decided to give it a shot since my ready peeling gel polish wasn't going to make it til my next availability. I went in & it was very clean, not crowded, & the lady who helped us was very sweet. I would like to take the time to express how every time I come to this shop I notice a true passion for miss Kim and how she greets each customer. She takes the time to provide what you like, and is really good communicating those wants. She is honest and very kind. And to be honest Arizona doesn't have any really good nail techs I've been to quite a few.....none of which compare to the quality and longevity of Kim's acrylic sets. Very pleased. They're not welcoming at all! I have been going here several times for about 2 years. Every single time I go in there has never been a time where I have truly felt welcomed but that didn't matter as much just as long as they did my nails right TILL about 3 months ago when I started noticing new people. They're sooooo pricey for the shitty job they do. My nails look as if I have at least a week with them but in reality it's not been a day. The lady boss is rude which you will know who that is the moment you walk in or 10 minutes after without even knowing her name. They have left my nails horrible in the past but I never paid much attention to it till now so I didn't think of leaving a review but this will now have to be my last time going there. April's husband did my fill and April polished my nails after her husband completed the fill. Both of them were rushing to go to church. The polish ended up being a rough texture and very dull in appearance. That very same day my nails began chipping. I returned to the shop within two days and explained my concern. April was very rude and failed to take ownership in the less than professional job. Her response was "I didn't make the polish". Granted, she may not have made the polish but she had it in her shop for customers to select from and they (she and her husband) did the less than professional job. They refused to correct the poor job that they had done without charging me again. I am not sure why they felt a person in their correct mind would pay again when they didn't do the first job right. I asked both of them what type of God do they serve if they know that the fault is with them and their product and they still don't want to do the right thing? April's exact response was " don't go bringing no God up in here!" I am so disappointed with this shop on so many different levels that I will not ever return. A 5 or 6 year old child could do the job that they are doing in that shop!! If there was a negative rating I could give, I would rate them a negative 1. The worst place I have ever been too! I got a gel manicure Sunday afternoon and I had told the old man (April husband) that had done my nails.. Usually gel nails only last about four days.. His wife April was shocked and said that the place that I had been to did not know what they were doing.. As of today the The white French tip started to peel. I called April early morning to see what time they close and she had told me they closed at seven. I left work early just to make it before 7.. I got there at 6:30 and April tells me that they are closed so I had advised her of my situation she looked at my nail and peeled the tip off and her recommendations to me was to come back tomorrow because it's going to take long time to get the tip fixed and she had to leave.. told April that I had specifically called and was told that her closing time was at seven not 6:30 and informed her that I had left work early for this purpose.. she had no sympathy whatsoever and I promised her that I would not step foot in her store again..
