I've been here once before a long time ago and wasn't pleased with the food I received, but my girlfriend wanted to try them out and like I said, it had been a while for me so maybe they improved. They didn't. We love crepes and have had some great ones through the years but this places crepes taste like thin flavorless bread. If anything they are serving you tortillas. Don't think I'm only judging on the crepe flavor alone (even though this is what their supposed to specialize in). I ordered the Hawaiian crepe and the chicken was the same they use for every chicken wrap variation. I noticed this as I watched them make a few before mine. The chicken tastes fine if I was ordering a southwestern (spiced up) crepe but I wasn't. My girlfriend ordered a pesto crepe and the same chicken was used. Does not match in flavor. Mine comes with pineapple straight from a can, and the least they could do was heat it up like a pizza place would, but no. I tried my best to enjoy the pineapples but they were ALL pretty much frozen. I wanted to say something but we couldn't wait for another since we were in the mall for a movie. The pesto crepe was flavorless as well and there was no pesto! Look up the crepe on their website and noice that you can see the pesto dripping from the crepe. This one had absolutely none... the service is nothing special. They just want your money. Their set up is not easy to deal with either. They have 4 registers available but in different sides of the shop and in the middle they place your crepes for you to pick up. What's wrong with that right? Well, when you place high chairs at what's meant to be the pick up location for people to sit this means having to ask people to move and reach over them awkwardly. Why they would sit there to begin with is another question, but I'm guessing the lack of seats is the answer. Take what you can find basically. I would not recommend this place nor will I give it a third chance. Very disappointed knowing a paid $23 for bad food and a bottle of water. read more

If you want to have a nice breakfast don't go on weekends. This place is clean and nice. But they failed in 3 things; First off, there was a young lady, she was on training on a weekend and seems very unsupported by the staff. (She was by herself). She was very clueless. When you have a new employee in a fast food place you can't just schedule him/her on weekends, because is gonna affect all the performance. 2. Anyways I placed my order and another lady helped me, I ordered a breakfast with a orange juice, arepa, black coffee and a water. The person who was helping me she was pretty busy doing other things like trying to help the new employee, taking my order and helping others places while taking my order which is not very good because she is not paying attention of what I'm ordering. 3. I waited for around 20-25 minutes for a sandwich to be ready. I went to see if they really processed my order and they forgot to called me once my sandwich was ready. I Knew it because when started to eating it, the sandwich was cold. I guess they forgot to called me. That's why I'm taking 2 stars from this place, is nice place food is good but the service and the management of people it's has to improve. read more

This place is over priced. We ordered 2 crepes (13.59 each) , 2 fries with cheese (5 each) and bacon and 1 philly steak baguette (12.49). The fries were all stuck together cause the cheese was hard and we couldn't even separate them. The crepes weren't what we ordered, they put things that belonged in my crepe on my friends crepe and vise versa. They didn't even wanna fix it after wards. Terrible service, terrible undercooked food, asked for a coke ends up being flat so we end up asking them if they could switch it for something else, they decided they had to try it before they give us something else... Terrible service again. We had the honey mustard chicken, the crepe was undercooked and the chicken had all kinds of different colors , hence I didn't end up eating it. Crepes were delicious. The menu is quite impresive, you can have anything in your crepes, savory or sweet. I tried the Chipotle chicken, it was juicy and flavorful. My friend had the steak chimichurri, which looked awesome. The beef is perfect medium, not too raw but definitely not overcooked. Be ready to wait a bit for your food, especially if there is a line. read more

After a day of shopping at the mall, something I do not enjoy in general, it was time to appease my growling stomach. My sister's boyfriend and his mother were sitting at the tables by Apropo, having ordered a crepe, and they told me they enjoyed it and was large enough to share with someone else. I decided to take their suggestion and ordered a Classic French Tuna Baguette. Why not? This place seemed to have a large clientele and it was right there, so why go elsewhere? The first thing I noticed, as someone else mentioned, was the music was a bit too loud, so I had trouble understanding the employee that was putting my order together. I quickly resolved that issue by telling her I wanted everything that the sandwich normally included. I am pretty easy when it comes to condiments and can tolerate anything. I did notice that she didn't use the Balsamic vinegar dressing that the sandwich called for, but I was not going to be bothered trying to point that out by shouting over the music. Besides, it wasn't a big deal and I could live with it. The portion size was generous, consisting of two small baguettes, and I was able to share it with my mother, who was also hungry. The sandwich was tasty and filling, and with a fountain drink, it came out to under $10.00, which isn't bad considering the amount of food we got. Sorry, fellow Yelpers -- I was too hungry to take a picture of the sandwich, but take my word that it was good and did the job! This place literally left a bad taste in my mouth. As I watched them assemble my baguette sandwich I thought I had hit the jackpot. How could have I forgotten my previous experience a few years back? I had sworn never to return. The lady behind the counter was incredibly sweet and laughed aloud when I hesitatingly ordered my Italian Lovers Sandwich on "healthy" bread rather than a croissant. She added extras and made a fantastic-looking sandwich. I hurried to the table to devour what seemed to be a very (HUGE) promising meal. After a couple of bites I began noticing a strong after taste, but thought nothing of it. Halfway though my sandwich I was pealing off bread and scooping out the pesto. When I finished I felt queazy and kept tasting the sandwich long after I reached Sports Authority. YUCK. I now have a stomach ache as I am writing this review. Soooo, this was my first and probably last time visiting Apropo. I had a craving for crepes and having never tried one from Apropo I was hoping for something tasty but didn't receive that. Again this was my first time, but I'm not picky at all when it comes to food, it just needs to have the flavor advertised on the menu. I ordered a pesto crepe and it was nothing like the photo. Very small and empty. There was such a small amount of pesto that I wouldn't have called it a pesto crepe, just a chicken crepe. I understand portioning is important to run a business but don't advertise something that looks delicious and give me the opposite. "/ The guy behind the counter was nice. The crepe cost about $9 but was definitely not worth that price. I might go back but only for the dessert crepes. They don't have too many filling options for those so I don't see how they can screw one of those up but you never know. read more

Inside of Dolphin mall, is this Crepe place. I like that it is away from the food court and gives people a healthy option than that Burger King that's down their, for people to eat while trying to navigate the colossus that is this outlet mall. The people are okay, generally speak Spanish for food orders but there has to be someone in there that speaks English. I just went for a quick pastry that was recently made and very delicious but kind of overpriced ($2.50) but it was inside the mall so whatever. My friend both got chicekn crepes, one the sweet and sour and the other a teriaki one. They looked pretty delicious but it's not my first time at the Crepe rodeo so I tried both. I feel like they could be filled with more food, but I do like the cones they put them in and that tehy have forks available if you don't want to drop sauce all over yourself while eating. You can try to find a table or a seat at the bar but it does get really full so it's kind of touch and go with seating. Pretty good, but not great. read more

Usually I like this place, but when your hours of operation say 10:00 PM and you stop service before 9:30 PM, I say that's bad customer service. What's worse, the person working had to issue taking an order from a single, fit woman in tight clothing, but was quick to dismiss a mother with a 1 year old child. Zero regard for the fact that maybe the food was for the child. So owner take note: either your hours of operation are wrong on yelp and google, or your employees are shutting down early. Now if the person taking the orders is the owner, shame on you for being lazy and not updating your hours, or even worse, closing early. The only one losing is the business. Maybe a few more sales could've been made. You definitely lost several, as despite the mall stores slowly closing around you, the food court business were still serving and taking advantage of every sale. read more

I passed by this place so many times while shopping at Dolphin Mall and never stopped to check this place out. The fact that in that area of the mall there is barely no place to sit and there's always a ton of people walking and trampling over you, took the desire of giving this place a try. Until one day that curiosity that hits me every now and then... hit me. I'm so glad it did because this crowded area of the mall has one of the best salads in Miami, crepes are pretty delicious as well. One thing I can't forget to mention is how good the strawberry and nutella crepe is and you can add ice cream if your heart desires to as well. The only thing I find extremely annoying about this place is how loud they play the music here on the weekends... have they ever come to think that some people don't want to hear their annoying music and especially so load. But hey, maybe that's just me. For now though, I'll just deal with the loud music and eat the yummy crepes. read more

This review is strictly for their Cuban coffee. I haven't ate the food from here in a while so I would be lying if I reviewed it but it looked and smelled amazing. However, the Cuban coffee (colada) was sugar with coffee..instead of coffee with sugar. We went to the Dolphin Mall location. We ordered three crepes. Two were the chivito crepes and one strawberry, banana, and Nutella. First off, the crepes are not fresh. They make a huge batch and let them sit there in bulk on top of each other. The chivito crepe was so bland that we had to ask for salt and pepper to add. There was NO seasoning on the steak other than the mustard drizzled within. For nearly $15.00, the least they could've done is add a side of garlic sauce or something, but that is an extra charge. The Nutella, banana, and strawberry crepe was better, but the strawberries weren't fresh. It was a real disappointment. We also had the rancheritos fries which were the best thing we ordered. Those were at least freshly fried when we ordered, but for $5.00 a pop, we got a teeny little bowl. I understand this is Miami but get real. Totally not worth the money! read more

Everyone was really nice and helpful except for one lady who swimmer to be in charge but was very rude and didn't even want to give me a spoon when I asked for one. She continued to give me dirty looks, therefore I went to another employee for a spoon. He was about to give it to me until she came up to him and whispered something at him. Apropo has the some absolutely amazing food! I had a crepe entree called 'Veggie Party'! It was stuffed with freshly sautéed vegetables, lightly drizzled in pesto sauce, blanketed with mozzarella cheese and topped with avocado! It was a great experience to watch as my food was being cooked on the grill in front of me! Super enticing and exciting! All of the staff were very kind, friendly, and smiling! Located in Dolphin Mall, this place offers a pretty filling alternative to the food court. They are located next to Journeys & Hot Topic, in a corner store front. You can literally order anything in your crepe. They offer both salty and sweet creations. Its messy, so I dont recommend walking around with it, but its good and fast. The clear windows allow you to watch the staff prepare your order. Its prepared to order (except for the crepes) so its really tasty. I recommend the Mexicano or the Philly cheese steak (the most bang for your buck). Both are so good in different ways. I have never tried the sweet offerings but they look just as delicious. read more

Located inside Dolphin Mall which I frequent because of ......... I often stop in to Apropo. They have an extensive menu with freshly made crepes sandwiches crepes deserts and salad. My favorite is the Hawiian Crepe with steak or the Honeymusteard steak. The servings are more than enough to fill this belly! PROBLEM! They use the same cooking spatula for chicken and steak. I have explained this to them everytime I visit. They give me attitude and reluctanly redue my crepes. I don't do this to be picky, I have allergies to chicken (i know weird) and they often flair up after having the crepes. It's so confusing going to the counter there. You can order from both sides but can only pay on one side so when you go to pay, someone can be standing there in your way, ordering a crepe. I went with a friend, ordered a caprese wrap. For some reason, they were out of basil. Also, they drowned the wrap in pesto sauce. It was so soggy that the wrap fell apart and I had to eat the contents with a fork. Needless to say, I wasn't happy. The wrap tasted good though the lack of basil was a shame and the whole not eating the soaked tortilla thing was pretty disheartening too. read more

The service in this place is great, the food is delicious even tho their specialties are crepes everything else on the menu is really good! I personally go for the apropobowl which is a bowl that has jasmine rice, steak, salad, pico de Gallo and sour cream in it, is really good since all the ingredients are super fresh and the steak is cook to perfection! You can finish your meal off with a colada which is an expresso and by the way they know how to hit the spot with those. read more

I ordered a chicken crepe....don't remember which,(first one on the menu)...it was made in heaven!!!! the taste, the sauce, the melted cheese....almost as good as sex!!!! I ate there the first time back in 2002, then later in 2010(portion was smaller if not mistaken)....now in 2013...they brought the portions up to the original size, I guess many people complained back in 2010..... now in 2013, the food was just amazing!!!!!! I can't describe how good it was.....don't even get me started on the sweet crepes...The nutella, dulce de leche,the banana, strawberries....OMG mouth orgasm!!!!!!!!!!!! both portions will fill up your belly really good, so it's either the salty crepe or the sweet crepe, you won't be able to eat both!!!! you guys have to try this place out!!!! read more

Me and my daughter was coming for lunch but we decided to go to auntie Annie's first. Literally one second after I sat down my daughter not even seated yet we were harassed by the owner saying we could not sit here. I asked why and he said your not buying our food. I stated sir you didn't give me a second ((reminder there are manyy empty tables around us). We wanted to place our things down while we decided what we wanted. He kept going on saying he's going to call someone etc. he eventually left and as were sitting eating and we loOk around and see several hispanic families sitting down at the same tables with Burger King, churros, etc. nO Apropo at all and no one has said a thing to them. I never know if i should address someone in spanish only because they are hispanic. Here is what i learned, once you walk into Dolphin Mall you speak Spanish. I made the mistake of ordering in english, so i paid the price. She didn't hear that i said Greek salad and instead of a peach crepe my bf ended up with a cheese cake crepe. I tend to be very lucky and she got my order the veggie crepe right. My crepe was delicious. I was obsessed, if only i can figure out how to eat it without looking like a toddler. It was piping hot- and i saw the chefs make it while i sat on the stools provided. They have a large stove top (like the ones at benihana) and they had chopped onions, mushrooms, peppers, and melted mozzarella cheese. I convinced myself this was healthy since it was veggies but i doubt it was. it tasted like it was bad for you. So basically they make the crepes and the filling at the same time- and they fold the crepe into the shape of a cone and fill it with, in my case the it was veggies and melted cheese and then they put the crepe inside those tiny paper cone shaped cups (the ones you see in any latin cafe). Take as many napkins as you can your going to need them. The spanish lady that got her crepe before i did asked for picante' aka hot sauce, i love hot sauce so i did the same and it was awesome! once you take your first bite, the mess begins...the juices from the oils and veggies start leaking thru the sides of the crepe. I suggest you come here with someone you feel 100% comfortable with because you are going to look like a slob! read more

Mmmhee my experience there was interesting. The mall was so busy and making the line at this spot is somewhat awkward with the crowd passing by. There were three cashiers open at the time and the lines were kind of all over the place. After all that I ordered picked up on the other side where the cooks are preparing right there in front of you, everything looked so free and delicious!!!! So they call your name and you HOPE there is a table around. So I spotted a table - guess I got lucky. I'm glad I did get a table because my steak crepe was messy but so delicious. Fresh and tasty! The crepe that I ate ran me like 9.75 so two of those a drink and Cuban coffee ended up belong like almost 25 bucks a little pricey but really in actuality your paying for the freshness and quality.
