Made two phone calls to different numbers associated with the salon. Got a call back at 9:45 with "so sorry, salon doesn't open till much later, I don't have a key. But I was next door, looking out for you." Well, if you were next door, you would have seen me, standing there for 10 mins. With the morning traffic took me nearly a hour to get back home. This is a common practice that every stylist I've been to over the past several years is familiar with. Every time I would remind her to add it. Every time she would ask me what color she used previously. 3 times in a row this happened. I asked why she didn't keep records which is also a very common practice. 2 appointments ago she said she would start doing that. The last time I came in for a root touch up again she asked about the color. Luckily, I wrote the color number on a picture of my hair from a previous appointment because I had a feeling the promise of record keeping wouldn't be fulfilled. She then informed me that I was "lucky" that there was one application left of that color. I reminded her to add the Sweet 'n Low. As she put the color in, she sang non stop in my ear, every single song that played over the speakers. It was beyond irritating. I was there to relax and receive a service. Not be serenaded. After the color was applied, my scalp started itching and burning. I got up to go look for her, found her with her face in her phone and asked if she remembered to put the Sweet 'n Low in. She said she did. Pretty sure that wasn't true as this dye never gave me a reaction before. I spent 2 weeks with blisters and itching on my scalp. After the 3rd week the color faded so much that I had to spend another $200 at a different salon to fix this mess. I'm fairly certain that she used the wrong color because they were out of what she used previously. Needless to say they've lost my business forever.

I'm surprised it took me 16 years to stumble on this place. I will definitely be back. I did try to go back this May on a Saturday before 5pm, but they were apparently closed. The door was open and there were people inside, but when I walked in the lady yelled at me what do you want. I guess I caught them at the wrong time. I'll have to try again.

I understand the hair type is slightly different but they didn't even attempt to get similar results because the length is so off in the picture the side is 1-2 inches what they gave me 1cm of length. Plus they cut the side way high I look like a pin head. The back is inexcusable clearly a mullet, mine is faded all the way up. Plus when I brought it they kept on giving excuse and if you're unable to cut it consult me first. The excuse is that my hair is thick and sticks out I know that but I also know I can push it down by styling. Plus they kept saying it looks good. Like what?
