Ugh my hair is ruined. Not sure if it was from the thermal straightening or from the terrible dye job I received. A big chunk of my hair was melted off. Now that it's growing back, it looks like I have a shark fin on my head. I was very happy with the straightening, but my color, not so much. Not only was I late for my graduation, but even though Christine knew I was in a hurry to attend my graduation, she was busy taking pictures of my hair for more self promotion. And my professor said that it looked like clown hair. As it washed out, the color looked better. Way too overpriced for the results I received. By far one of the best stylists I've seen to date. I had the Bio Ionic straightening done to my hair and the entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Christine managed to tame to my frizzy unruly hair using Bio Ionic straightening in a matter of hours! I'm so thankful for Christine!!! I have naturally thick, curly, and very long hair that took forever to dry and no less than 45 minutes (once it was dry) to style! My hair controlled my life! Christine is adorable, takes all the time needed to make sure what are your hair routines and products, the whole history behind your hair before she does her recommendations, at a very thorough consultation taking all the time needed. I was tired of doing highlights to my hair. My hair was not in bad shape, but I wanted to give it a rest from the chemicals being absorbed with the other chemicals that may form or be released from the aluminum regularly used while doing highlights that you eventually end up absorbing. It is my opinion, maybe not shared by other, but valid for me. Regardless, I did not want to do drastic color changes either. Christine offered me many different options and, based on my profession and my lifestyle, and knowing I am not into coloring or dyeing my hair which I haven't done in my life except for the highlights, she worked her 'Magic" and the results are astonishing! My hair looks and feels much healthier, the color is subtle, yet it made the highlights "rootage" (the roots from highlights) blend in an amazing way and covered those yellow, white and brassy spots that occur after a while on highlighted hair in a spectacular way!!
