I've been trying to find a good hair salon for awhile now (I've hated my hair for months now) and, I finally found one! I came today to get a haircut and after reading so many of the reviews, I went with Megan. She was super sweet to me, took the time to look at my hair and the picture I brought and listened to what I had to say. I got this really cute asymmetrical cut and though we both agreed it wouldn't turn out like the picture Megan really took what I had to say and created the cutest cut. My hair is so beautiful now and, I'm so happy and feel so pretty!!!! Also, I went to get my nails done after and the guy who did my nails complemented me on my hair. THANK YOU !!! Wife went in for hair color and they put her with a barber who doesn't know how to do hair color and he rubbed it in her hair like shampoo and add water to the dye aren't you not suppose to do that? And the owner still went ahead and charged her a $100 when that was a bullshit job. Smh read more

Please read EVERYTHING before deciding to go!! I came in to get a full highlight done, because my regrowth needed to be taken care of. The results came out great. There is a "however", though. I've had at least 6 full highlight sessions done in my hometown in North Carolina and in Missouri. I've never had an appointment like how this one went. The combs and brushes were plastic ones you could get from Walmart. Sectioning of the hair was nonexistent. Foils were crumpled instead of folded, which can lead to splotchy application of the bleach. My head was basically treated like a mannequin that stylists used during cosmetology school. He might as well have thrown my head across the room. The front pieces of my hair that were covered in bleach were placed, uncovered, over my forehead and eyes. I could have gotten bleach in my eye multiple times. The assistant helped me with that issue, wiping my face and eyelids with a towel, thankfully. After all of that and not knowing the result yet, I was having anxiety. What threw me off the most was that after he rinsed my hair and added detangling spray, he tossed the bottle onto my lap. Who in the world does that?! Thank god the results came out great or else I would have become a Karen in the salon. read more

Megan was great helping me out but the color in my hair faded after a day or two. The services were extremely overpriced ($170). I was told that the pastel colors don't stay long in hair but I can't see people paying a lot of money if it didn't stay. I will probably go again but just for a haircut in a pinch. read more

As a client for over 2 1/2 years I expect more. The salon has been through many stylist turnovers but Kelly who is amazing with color has stayed so I stayed. Each time I leave though I question if I should go back. Stylists talking around you to each other, being half an hour late for appointments without so much as an apology or rushing through to help another stylist color their own hair is unprofessional and discourteous. I've referred 6 other people (without so much as a thank you), all of whom have not returned for similar treatment. This was for sure my last visit and only hope this feedback offers ways to help them improve and retain the customers they do have. read more

Lowering my rating. I've been going to this salon for 3 years now and yes they do an amazing job but the last time I was in (today) I was there just shy of 6 hours. I'm aware that some coloring techniques take longer than others and that what I ask for was not a simple request (bayalage) but I feel like my time was taken advantage of. They overbook themselves and can't keep up quite frequently. So just beware that you may be sacrificing several hours of your time here. read more

My experience started by calling in Saturday morning at 9:30am just seeing if there was a possibility for an appointment, we know most great places are always booked solid. Stephanie answered the phone super sweet and told me they could get me in today. Got there an hour later was greeted by Stephanie and was sat within minutes of walking in. John was very experienced and walked me through the different options, asked me what I wanted and I literally left my hair in his hands. The outcome was perfection. One word; AMAZING! The salon is beautiful! I made an appointment same day. Alex set the appointment for me and did my blow dry. From beginning to end I felt in good hands. The lady that washed my hair gave an amazing scalp massage. And I'm not one for massages. I felt totally relaxed. The minute Alex started on my hair I knew I was in good hands. Not only did he blow dry my normally puffy curly hair, perfectly. But he gave me a much needed trim. And probably the only time someone has actually just trimmed and not chopped off my hair. I live in California and was visiting my girlfriend in the FtLauderdale area, who is a client of Alex. I was in need of a color fix and she made me a last minute appointment with him, a few hours before my return flight back home. It was an amazing experience, beginning to end. He knew right away what I needed, without me having to explain much. He fixed my botched and grown out high lites without changing the overall color and gave me the best blow dry ever. On top of that, he made a video for me, to give to my stylist here in San Diego, with all the color details and instructions needed to duplicate his work. WOW, such great service!!! Now I'm a definite forever customer. When I looked on YELP and found great reviews here and I'm proud to be another number to many more! I'm very very sensitive when it comes to my hair and who cuts it, its very thick and very long. I walked in and Sebastian greeted me by my name and has never met me before. It was very warming. the ENTIRE staff helps everyone else out. Everyone multitasks beautifully! The decor is gorgeous and everyone is professional. My color came out fine but the actual cut was nothing worth mentioning and honestly, as someone who has been doing highlights for 10 years, my hair never felt worse. One week ago, I had an appointment with Alex for color, cut, and blow out. It was a nightmare! Now, most of the colored is washed out and I am left a Strawberry Blond! NOT, my color at all. During the consult, he did not hear a thing I said. He showed me color samples, I made my selection and he did something different and had the nerve to lie about it. He chopped my hair and it no longer smoothly frames my face. The rest of my hair is now, for the first time in my life - limp and lifeless. Alex had a major attitude and was rather nasty.
