I tried rinsing my car off, but I couldn't, because soap kept coming from the spray nozzle while it was on the rinse cycle. If they want to waste their soap, that's on them. Luckily, I still had plenty of clear water in my bucket. With the use of my large sponge, it was more than adequate to properly rinse my car off. I had to get to a self service car wash as my usual place wasn't cutting it. Apparently the reviews for this place are outdated - which I couldn't be more happy about! When arriving, I noticed many others giving their vehicles a good sudsin'. Everything worked wonderfully & as intended. You can pay via quarters, cash, or card. There are many options to select & a place for you to hang your floor mats to give those a spray as well. This place is a waste of your time and money. There is a reason most of the reviews here have one star - the stalls flood which means you get soaked, most of the machines don't work, expensive for what you are getting, and the wash equipment is poorly maintained. For example, the foaming brush I used was so worn down, when I finished, the car was still dirty because the brush wasn't really able to scrub any dirty off. Here is what I dealt with yesterday: first stall has no soap the next one has a non working credit card machine the one next has no soap, and the foam brush (the only way to get soap) is disconnected from the hose the next one has no soap the next one has no water pressure The phone # listed for "problems" on their sign has a " full mailbox." CC /Change/Dollar machines rarely work. Then, if you find one that works and ... you eventually determine that nothting at this car wash really works, there is "nobody" around to get your $$ back. So I have been going to this car wash for as long as I can remember and yesterday may be the last time I will be going here. I had no problem washing the car and vacuuming but when I tried to purchase towels the machine took my money and did not give me any towels. I tried calling the phone number listed for problems and the mail box was full and not accepting messages. When drying off my car I saw a person tidying up the lot and asked if he worked there and he did. I told him the problem and he said that I should call the number listed. I told him the mailbox was full and all I wanted was my $1 I lost. He said that he could not do that... He also said he did not have keys to the room where supplies were kept. Really? He works there but has no access to the facilities? I am calling BS. I texted the number and have heard nothing. A brand new car wash just opened on Oakton (Classic Car Wash) right by McCormick which look a lot nicer and also offer free vacuums so if I do not hear anything from the people who run this wash I will be bringing my business there from now on. read more

Decided to come here as I typically use self car wash. I thought people were just complaining about it because they had to do it themselves. This place is a hassle and I spent 25-30 to wash my car. First off, change machine doesn't work so I couldn't vacuum my car. Second, the knobs are off by one. So I thought I was doing pre soak turns out I was doing the tire cleaner. Third, water pressure is terrible. I had to go over the sections 5-10 times to get the soap out. Overall, I recommend people to avoid this place and find another or pay someone to do a hand car wash. This place is not worth the hassle, time, or your hard working money. I hope this helps someone. read more

Equipment isn't top of the line or anything but it worked for what I needed it to. Pressure washers don't have an accurate nozzle so it's harder to be precise with where you're spraying. For $12.50 to wash my car myself, I think this is a horrible "value" which will just have me wash up when I gas up at an automatic car wash. I used to come here, swipe my card, and just go until I was done. Now you have to buy increments of 4 minutes or so to wash your car. My car is small, and it ran out having half the car to rinse. I'm never wasting my money here again. Plus, now right next door is new construction going up, so enjoy fresh dirt on your freshly-washed car when the wind is blowing right (or wrong as the case may be). But ultimately, I paid double to do myself when I could have paid half that to have it done for me, and even have someone dry it off for me. read more

This car wash is fantastic. Everything works, lots of room. For about $10 you can really get your car washed and vacuumed very well. You do have to do all the work but it is worth it. You can also wash you car anytime between 6am and 10pm. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Let me tell you all the wonderful things you will find when attempting to wash your car here...be afraid, be very afraid!! 1) horrible, low and intermittent water pressure. AKA good luck blasting anything off your car. The pressure has to be at least 3 times as powerful for you to have any hope getting anything but dust off your car. its so bad, you can actually feel it getting low and then pulsing back on as it tries desperately to keep a solid stream of water coming out. The cause? Cheap ass pressure from cheap ass gear, from an owner that clearly isn't a car wash aficionado or they would have already known that the first time they tried washing a car. Pro tip - you should be able to power wash any kind of dirt off the car without soap if you had the right pressure, just like semi washes and even hillbilly pickup washes have. 2) Sketchy people everywhere at this wash. loud music playing from crappy cars, people yelling and fighting with each other, and all kinds of shady stuff going on. unacceptable. hire a person to man the wash to make sure everything runs smooth and is safe, period. 3) Soap from the sprayer has been out 2 times I have gone. really? you dumb lazy owner, get someone to man the place during business hours to be sure everything from soap levels, water pressure and spot free rinse is all working for each and every customer who goes here, otherwise you clearly don't give two shakes what happens to people here. I seriously think the person that runs this doesn't really care about car washing or car care, or they would spend the money to get the best gear, clean up the area, and get much better wash pressures, lighting and things like PH neutral soaps to make it more a premium service. Not all of us want to have slack jaw yokels hand wash our cars, and then scratch them, we just want a clean, premium self wash bay to get the cars clean in between thorough washes.
