05/14/26 - I've lived in Forest Glen for about 25 years. I have been coming to Forest Glen Hand Car Wash (FGHCW) for at least 20 years. Over the years the prices have gone up but what hasn't gone up. Currently FGHCW is on their 4th owner. They still do a great job cleaning the inside & out. I came here about 2 months ago. They have an early morning special from 8-11am. I arrived @ 9:40am to a long line of cars. By the time I got in it was about 11:12am. In order to take advantage of the early morning special you have to be inside the car wash by 11am. I told the owner I was outside in line @ 9:40am waiting but it didn't matter because they charged me full price. I left but came back & spoke to the owner telling him I was outside 1 hr & 20 minutes before the 11am deadline. He mentioned that he had problems w/his full staff showing up because of their fear of ICE agents potentially raiding & detaining them. He told me he would honor this w/a free car wash the next time I came in (which was about 2 months later. He is a man of his word & gave me a car wash for free when I came back on 05/14/26. Waited in line for 35 minutes. The door opened at 11:02 and they said the early bird pricing was over. They just lost a regular customer.

This place is amazing! Everyone is super friendly and does an amazing job. If you show up early the price is amazing for the quality of work. Pro tip clean out your car and they will also clean your floor and trunk mats. read more

If you decide to come here and you are not a regular be sure to track down the guy in charge to tell him what wash you want otherwise it appears that they will just throw a little soap and water on it and charge you over $20. Once I got out of my vehicle I attempted to track the guy in charge but he was running around washing. When I tried to tell him what wash I got the index finger to wait. So impressed with this spot! Truly a noteworthy hand car wash! I don't think I could have asked for better! Great early bird special! I really tried to give this place a chance since it's in the neighborhood. Went here 3 times. It was cleaned well the first time. The second time was bizarre because they moved my shoes that was in the trunk to the front seat and made a shoe print. The 3rd time, the manager was rude while I was trying to move my car in. I recently had a lot of stains on my windshield and hood of my car due to a leaking garage ceiling. I kept going to multiple car washes, but none of them would fully clean my car. I went to Forest Glen Hand Car Wash, and at first they told me that they might not be able to get the stains out but they would try. 45 minutes later and my car looked brand new! Oh boy are these guys good and thorough. I did not plan to get my car washed yesterday but when I couldn't see out the side windows and was passing this place, I made a quick decision to stop. I am so glad that I did. This is not the cheapest car wash but you absolutely get what you pay for. Inside and out my car is like new. They even took out the heavy boxes from the back to clean the floor (the car was not ready for this event!), without any hesitation. I would go out of my way next time to go to this place! read more

So, this is my first hand-wash car wash I've ever been to. I normally wash my car own my own, but my car hadn't been washed at all this winter, and I was in the area. First of all, we ended up spending 13 dollars having our car washed. I was okay happy with the outside, but they totally left a bird poop stain on my passenger window. I would like to mention too, they were not even busy at this point, and I was not an early bird rate, so I wanted them to be very thorough. There was still debris left in the trunk, and when they replaced my mats, they didn't even put them in the proper spot! It just looked like they rushed. However, positives: they work very quickly, and I was in general happy with the condition. The best thing is being able to not have foggy/dirty rear view mirrors! WIN! :) I have very little experience with this, so maybe this is normal? But if I pay more than 10 dollars for a wash/clean, I feel like it should be clean. Next time, I'll probably go somewhere where they hand wash the outside, and I'll vacuum the inside. :) read more

This is the car wash I keep coming back to. They do a really good job not only with the exterior but also interior vacuum wash, pullout mats etc. I have never had a bad experience here usually 3-5 guys working on your car at a time depending how busy they are. During the early bird specials you might have to wait, however short of it being before a holiday or a break in really crummy weather, it is definitely worth the wait. Just be careful when waiting in line outside on the street and pulling into this building with the larger vehicles as it is a sharp right turn pulling into the driveway. read more

Took my car here after road tripping from California and was really impressed with the service. Because of COVID, they are changing a $5 sanitation fee if you would like the interior cleaned. My grand total was $19 for hand washed exterior and vacuumed and wipe down of the interior. The inside of my car felt brand new after!! read more

This place has drop in quality. I use to come here when it was wizard of wash and it was a ugly green color. Then new owners bought the place and renamed if Forest Glenn car wash and it was alright for a while. Now I think it was taken over by some employees or the owner never comes by. But man these guys suck now. I just stop by and they werent even busy and they left my car so dirty for the inside mind you I paid for the so called super wash. Horrible place. They only had two cars inside and had me and another car waiting outside for a good 6 mins , I walk out of my car to see if they are even open and see that they were approaching the door so I went back into my car. I pull up and as soon as I get out of my car some dude rudely approaches me to tell me to close the door that I had left a bit open ... so I did. Great place and they do a good job. Early bird is a great deal but even full price isn't that bad. The regular wash is good enough and not sure if the tire dressing is worth the extra $$. Always courteous and careful as I have a soft top. Good guys and just a good deal. Only rub is it takes a bit to get thru as the place only handles four cars inside in a line. So if the line outside is past three cars expect to wait 20-30 minutes just to get in. So heads up when it is busy. read more

So I always come here and they usually always do a good job. But the reason for the 3 stars is because I went there and it smelled of cigarette smoke inside so bad that it made my jacket smell and the interior of my car. I know it's cold out, but smokers still need to step outside. read more

I agree with most of the reviews here, i have been coming here back and forth for over 10 years now. After it has gone thru a few name changes also. There standard has fallen, below par it seems, while their prices have gone up. It is a hit or miss I have left 70% of the time very happy while 30% of the time I left questioning why did I even come back. There have been dirt spots and markings left undone.
