We drove up to Naples from Miami to visit some friends & they took us to this restaurant for lunch. For a Sunday afternoon, this place was really quiet. Hardly 2 tables filled this huge indoor - outdoor restaurant. We were served by this hassled server, who warned us that he was THE only server there & that he was going to wear multiple hats!!!! ( Hopefully he did not cook!) so as you can imagine - not a very warm welcome. I felt sorry for the server, as he dropped water on the floor every time he refilled a water glass! ( he must be exhausted) Btw, the lunch menu was not very exciting either, being a seafood restaurant. Check it out in the photos below. Overall my experience at this establishment was not a pleasant one. Will not go there again. And, fyi, when we left the restaurant , we passed by another cafe on the same block and it was rocking! If you like large political signs that pretty much ruined my evening and mediocre food that was over priced then this would be your place. I don't understand why political signs are displayed when you really want to get away from everything and just enjoy a dinner without politics. The service was fine but the food was totally unforgettable and it was 40+ dollars for a fish dinner in the middle of the summer in Naples when every other restaurant has reduced prices. On the evening of February 3rd 2023 I was at aqua in Naples on 5th st. I arrived to meet friends after 8 PM. at Around 10:45 as I was going back in after spending a moment out in the cool air was asked by the manager. That I couldn't come in and to leave. I had been dancing with friends and strangers being the chivalrous gentlemen as I have done for at least 5 times this winter. Even their security guard Luis has known me for at least two years from the leaky tiki on Fort Myers Beach. The first thing that the woman manager said was she didn't want me in the restaurant and when I asked her why She said I just don't want you in here. I asked what have I done? She replied "I just don't want to you here. When I said I have done absolutely nothing She now replied, I had complaints from women." It never happened unless for some reason as in the managers case they did not like my confident demeanor. Over my 70 years as I'm sorry I'm a confident man. I'm also a dance instructor who likes to show people how to dance when and only when they're interested. I will never understand her behavior. It is very upsetting To a man who is an open book with many friends two beautiful daughters that I raised as a single parent with one wonderful grandson. Envy is the worst emotional. My close friends will never go there again and I will never give them my business or suggested anybody else to go there. Went in for happy hour and was greeted by a bartender immediately so the service is very good at the bar. The happy hour food was just mediocre . The two star rating is because the place was not especially clean...garbage on the floor just inside the entrance which nobody thought to pick up!!?? Wont go there again .. read more

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because they no longer served the dish that I wanted to order which was the Pork Belly. But I am not mad because the Ossobuco was amazing. My wife had the Branzini which was also delicious. The owner was very nice and friendly as well as the servers. We will definitely return here the next time I'm in Naples. read more

Family and I decided to drop in and try this seafood and steak place in naples while on vacation in naples florida. Food was fine and service was fast and accommodating as a NYC travel that is always important to us . But the experience went south when the bill arrived for a party of 3 and the waiter took it upon himself to add the gratitude to the bill himself. Let me note that the menu did indicate that gratuity was add to all bills nor are we not from this country where we know people work on tips . This was very distasteful on the part of this restaurant. I approached the owner about this but my husband already handed the bill in . By no means is a tip an issue it is adding this to a bill and not informing the customer so if we did not check our bill as we always do we would have also doubled tipped. It is with much regret that I am posting that my 83 year old mother who has been a loyal patron of Aqua for 10 plus years passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 17th. My siblings and I got on the first flight from New England to Naples, distraught and with uncertainty with what we were going to have to navigate through. After visiting the funeral home, going through momentos, etc, we all knew we could not wait to get to Aqua ... mom's favorite spot. As the three of us sat there with a range of mixed emotions, we were met with a gamut of staff including waitstaff, bartenders, cooks, etc. The waitstaff knew her by name, bartenders knew her grandchildren's stories, and the three of us couldn't wait to get to her seat and pay a final toast in tribute to those memories that my mother cherished in sharing with all of them. We were lastly met by the owner, expressing his condolences, handed us his business card asking for a picture to post on some type of a "wall"? We wrapped up the evening and felt so grateful to have the experience and know how much my mother was loved by all staff. But here's the hard part that I need to share... We know my mother was so loved and appreciated by the entire Aqua staff, however, it was not only a shock, surprise, but such a true disappointment when we reflected on the fact after receiving our check that the owner did not have the professional courtesy to comp us a round of drinks to honor my mother. As we sit here and reflect, we realize and understand my mother lived on a limited budget income but always made it a priority to support her local favorite restaurant spot, Aqua, and it would have been really super special to have that reciprocated. Is this just typical of Florida business owners or have I just been lucky enough to have been shown appreciation for the respect and loyalty that I provide for my local regular happy hour spots??? read more

I had heard from a friend how nice Aqua was and what a Great Happy Hour they had. I checked out their website and looked at their Happy Hour Menu and the selections of food and drink were both extensive and reasonably priced. There is a long description of how the Happy Hour works...BUT, there is NO Mention that the Happy Hour is Only available at The Bar. I have a very good friend visiting me here and Naples and we decided to give Aqua a try and made a reservation online for 6 PM (Happy Hour there is 4 - 7 PM), We were seated by a very friendly hostess on a table right next to the very busy bar. When the server came and brought us a dinner menu and asked for the Happy Hour Menu he laughed and told us Happy Hour is ONLY at the Bar. Pricing and drink prices are almost Double on the dinner menu. The server said he had heard from other diners that there was No Mention of Happy Hour only at the Bar and would let Management know. Doubtful! We decided to eat here anyway since it is unseasonably cold outside and didn't want to search 5th Avenue for another restaurant. The table was so close to the bar that standing bar patrons kept bumping into my chair. We for all intents were eating in The Bar. The food was good. The service was subpar. I have never written a yelp review but people have to know about this place.... The new dance club attached to Aqua COULD be amazing. Unfortunately the blond women who claims to be the owner (I can't imagine she really is) is ABRASIVE, CONFRONTATIONAL, UNPROFESSIONAL and actually PHYSICAL to her clientele. Perhaps last night she was having a bad night or perhaps she was under the influence, but to PUSH and YELL at a CUSTOMER is outrageous behavior. Last night after dancing a song or two at Aqua I opened the slider doors (to the pleasure of all customers nearby ) I was concerned about Covid and airflow. This Woman came up to me and shoved me with a punch to my shoulder. Certainly it was not my place to open doors but my concern about Covid and feedback from other customers led me to believe additional airflow would be welcome and helpful. I am a mild mannered, middle aged housewife who had a happy buzz and was thrilled to be dancing after months of Covid. This "OWNER's" physical/AGRESSIVE behavior shocked me and left me shaken. Food was pretty good, atmosphere outside was nice, but 3 out of our 4 person party ended up sick and we seem to think it was their water/ice they give you. It smelled off and the person who drank the most got the most sick. Called to let them know and they couldn't be less concerned. We have been to Aqua several times before and had great experiences. The food is not that great but the drinks and entertainment have always been the draw for us. Tonight we showed up with no reservation...no biggie...guy at door said it was $50 per person to get in...no problem. Got 6 seats at the bar. Perfect timing. I kid you not, Within 3 minutes of sitting down the OWNER is bumping into and picking a fight with our friend and kicking us out!! Unhinged is the best word to describe this guy. I have never witnessed such unprofessional behavior in my life. With that kind of approach, Aqua will probably be under new ownership soon. My fiancé and I were visiting from Minnesota and first stopped in randomly for lunch on a Wednesday and then brought our friend who joined us in town again Saturday night. Both times we had the pleasure of Miguel taking care of us. He is so welcoming, knowledgeable, professional and prompt. He offered amazing recommendations and made our meal experience top notch. We also had a great time Saturday with the live music and dancing. Miguel and our dining experience at Aqua and quality overall has been our favorite memory of our week in Naples. My fiancée and I came to this place for a couple of refreshing drinks. We first questioned why there is political signage all over the place and the staff from bartenders and waiters carry that same messaging. We had two drinks a piece and were charged $64.00. The drinks were not anything close to top shelf. We complained to the bartender who was rude and told us, "conservatives like it here". We are neither a liberal nor a conservative; we are simply patrons looking for a good drink, in a nice atmosphere, at a reasonable price. The staff at Aqua was far from nice and $16.00 drinks are outrageously priced. We were also rudely treated by the manager when we spoke to her about our issues. When questioning the high price of the drinks, the manager stated, "we have to pay for the high rent for this place!" I was astounded by this response. I did ask for the owner. However, was never given the name nor an opportunity to speak to that individual. Upon our exit from this place, the bartender made faces at us and continued to antagonize us. I pointed it out to the manager and she indicated she would address it. I doubt that occurred. Since the ownership has labeled and messaged this place as a conservative bar, one would like to believe their political messaging would carry over to the offering of a nice place to enjoy conservatively priced drinks and food. This is far from the brand they are trying to emulate. I did tell the manager that we are well connected in the Naples community and would pass the erroneous messaging this establishment is trying to portray and recommend they no longer patronize Aqua. My prediction is this place will not last very long with their attitude, poor service and overly priced drinks/food. I would highly recommend avoiding this place. It is one of the best food we had on 5th Ave. me and my husband tried few restaurants during our stay and Aqua was the top of our list. I got the pineapple salmon and I was so happy with my choice. The server was very nice and welcoming. The food prices are reasonable comparing to the other restaurants and comparing to the quality of food. We enjoyed the music and the relaxing atmosphere. PLEASE SHARE!!!!! We went to this restaurant with our children, Aqua in Naples, FL. We placed our order and my daughter needed to use the restroom, on our way there, we passed by the kitchen only to see the ENTIRE kitchen staff -about 10 people- cooking without masks. NOT ONE person in the kitchen was wearing a mask. We came back to the table and politely asked to cancel our order but the food had already been served. This woman in the picture the "Manager & Part Owner" -as she put it- proceeded to attack us verbally, call us thieves, insisted they are not obliged to wear masks and will not wear them, called the police on us and continued insulting us in front of our kids. Not once did she sympathize or try to make the situation better. Not once did she try to understand our point and discomfort. She heard us speaking Spanish and we immediately became "thieves." The cops were extremely nice and just mediated the situation. In the end we were forced to pay for food we did not eat and leave the restaurant. A restaurant in our humble opinion completely irresponsible in its conduct during a time so complex and faced with a world pandemia. Please share the terrible actions of this woman. Food arrives within 40 minutes, I got a salmon for $38 and omg it was so fucking worth it. The salmon was roasted and came in a honey and pineapple risotto and the food was 11/10 like never had food this good in a long long time. I also tried the steak and mashed potato's which I normally hate those foods but omg they were incredible too. We sat at the bar around 5pm for Happy Hour. We had a great time and the bartenders were excellent and we never had to wait more than a minute or two for our drinks even though the bar was packed. Also, the Happy Hour food was really good and again it was served within 5-10 minutes of our order. I highly recommend this place for the Happy Hour and it goes from 4-8pm which is a lot longer than the other places on 5th. read more
