The gate they installed is "child-proof" and honestly, mostly adult-proof too. Unless you know how to open it is pretty difficult, which is great for keeping people out of the pool unless they have permission. The installation was quick and easy and it actually enhances how our pool area looks. I just had to call them again, because after five years my kids have managed to rip one area of the fence (it took them a year to do it) by continually riding their bikes into the same section over and over (yes, I probably should have been more attentive, but I am not looking for a mother of the year award). When I called to see if someone could come out and fix it, the receptionist was very friendly and still had us in her computer system so there was no hassle on my part to try and explain what type of fence I had, the colors, etc. It was all there and someone will be out shortly to fix it. Awesome customer service and everyone is so friendly! I highly recommend them.

When we looked into it, we found that the…read moretop hinge on the door was held on by just one maybe 1.5" screw, and the hinges were misaligned with the pre-drilled holes in the frame. The metal threshold under the door was also bent out of shape and missing the wooden or rubber part that actually seals against the door sweep, so this door was DRAFTY and definitely wouldn't keep any bugs out. I'm pretty handy, but with how much work the door needed, I didn't feel comfortable fixing it myself. I messaged Dave on Yelp and we were able to do a video estimate a few days later. When my partner and I decided to hire him, he was able to come out the next day for the repair, and he did an awesome job. The door works great, all the hinges are anchored in properly, and besides some paint, the threshold looks like nothing was ever wrong. After some other contractors blew us off and dismissed our concerns with their work, we were worried we wouldn't be able to find someone who would actually seal the door and make it look good. Dave was awesome and worked hard to get the repair looking and working perfect. Thanks Dave!

It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Without going into minute details, we only wish to say that from the initial contact, we were met with friendly professionalism and a desire to make our dreams come true. Crystal was able to take our conceptual design and come up with exactly what it was we wanted and answer any questions we had regarding any aspect of this proposal project. Her communication was always cordial and without delay. Ultimately, the one stop shop approach turned to a contractor/builder situation to save costs for another project. Had funds been unlimited, it would be another story. We know that Crystal did a good amount of work for us and we wanted everyone to know that they are an amazing representative for BYOP so for anyone reading this review, please do consider BYOP of Nevada for your pool project.
