We recently had our front door kicked in and I was extremely upset and worried about getting it replaced. I had called up multiple door repair replacement companies and Jr's Works responded promptly, gave me multiple options, and even offered to pick the door up from the store for me if I decided to purchase it from Home Depot. He was also very upfront and honest with what everything would cost. We ended up going with the door he offered and it ended up being a very nice quality. I was worried it would be a wait to have it installed, but he was incredibly considerate to our concerns and everything was done very quickly - he measured the door and secured it (even added a temporary deadbolt so we could still open it if necessary), then scheduled a morning appointment as soon as the door was available for installation. Installation was fast and, I feel, very well done. Definitely better than the original door. He cleaned up after the install and immediately scheduled the stucco repair as well. I contacted them with high hopes upon seeing they had good reviews just wanting to save myself some time on a project. They were very fast to respond I will give them that. I specified what I needed I have a basics understanding of construction & what all the materials run. The quote was over three times what I was expecting. They quoted me $2000 to have a 36" door installed in a wall in my home leading to a bedroom. A prehung 36" door runs $300ish, trim on both sides of the door we'lol round up and say $40 (that's high), basic doorknob $15-30 = minimal, removing drywall = minimal. It's been a matter of hours since I messaged them and I literally have done everything myself other than paint the installed door & trim. Even if materials (tools and everything included which I'm sure the business already has, so it's not an additional expense) cost $600, that's 1,400 profit for a job that takes MAYBE 4 hours to complete and that includes drive time/ transportation of door. Jr's Works scheduled promptly, arrived on time, assessed the door would need to be removed and reset. After speaking with him I felt comfortable and had him replace (2) full light exterior doors, a house to garage door, and he installed (7) interior doors that I could not get to close properly after I attempted to DIY. He was able to install several new door frames for me, as well. He was patient, communicated very well, and didn't speak down to me for trying to do the work myself before calling him. Needed new front doors quick. Double doors. Attempted burglary destroyed the doors. EVERY other door place I called was 4-8 weeks! One said 6 weeks before they could even look at the job! THIS guy comes the next day, quotes the job, we agree. He orders the doors, says they are not quite standard. Gets the doors and installs them within the same week! THIS is what I remember Las Vegas USED to be like 25 years ago. This is the guy! He had his stucco patch guy do the finish up an Saturday the day after he got the doors in. Rock and Roll!
