Went for the recreation swimming, complete waste of time & money, thankfully it was only $5, so not much money wasted. Swimming facilities are ok, nothing special. But if your young child can't swim yet, don't even bother wasting your time. They micromanage you with a bunch of rules. No life jackets allowed which is INSANE. Front desk lady tried to gaslight me & say that's a normal policy in most places which it is NOT. She needs to get out more. I've been all across the country & not one other places I've been to has ever had that rule, in fact it's the opposite in most places--non-swimmers are REQUIRED to wear them. So basically my kid couldn't do anything but sit there hanging on the edge of the pool. I tried to walk around the pool with her on my back, again, like I do everywhere else & they said I can't do that either. I couldn't swim cuz I had to watch my child at all times just hanging on the edge of the pool. Not fun at all. Locked rooms are only 18+, so couldn't use that either cuz my kid is with me. Just a bunch of pointless weird rules & micromanaging that doesn't exist anywhere else I've ever seen. Save your money & time & go somewhere else. We ended up just going to raging waters where we have season passes, she can wear life jackets allowed, & we have way more fun.

They have been coming here since they were all 9months old. Throughout the years my older boys joined the San Dimas swim team which is so awesome and a great team. Now my last little Liam, is finally ready to be in a competitive team all thanks to the LA county life guards at San Dimas.

I always walk by it when going to the wellness center but haven't been inside the pool area until today. The pool facility is really well kept and nice! It's an Olympic size pool with electronic touch pads at the end, and lots of stadium seating on both sides of the pool as well as a huge scoreboard. I can see why this facility was being used for this event! I was attending as a volunteer with LA28 and Para Pan Pacific Championships where para-athletes from all over the world were competing for a chance to become an Paraolympic 2028 hopeful. These elite athletes were either physically or intellectually challenged and it just blew my mind watching them compete and timing their laps (so fast)! If you are looking for a local place to do some lap swimming, you can sign up for open fitness swim passes through Mt. SAC by month or by term!

I have attended the stadium for sectionals and CIF Sports swimming events. There is an adjacent parking lot and there's also a structure for parking which makes it easy. There is covered Stadium style seating. They also have a great sound system and scoreboards. This is one of the better aquatic centers that I have been to and always enjoy coming.

I brought my daughter who is in her teen years. She and I visited 2x within a week and she then went another time with her friend from the valley, Burbank area. Let's dive in to the facts , what is, what is not, and why do some of the rules and regs " need to be revisited, revised, and applied. I will start with my usual 5 stars given and go from there. I read 20 reviews, lets hit a bullet list; - There is an aquatic center in La Puente - 5 - Its kept up very well - 5 - Young staff needs grooming, they need an Aqua Pro to come in for a mandatory meeting. In other words, all employees must follow the Aqua pro or pros instructions, " NO CANON BALLS OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE FACILITY," AS AN EXAMPLE. Staff, either your 100% listening to the guests with kindness, I know that can be a test, but I aam 30 years in global hospitality, I love helping people. - Plenty of space 5 - Classes available 5 ( at every ctr, you will find limitations) - food and bevs comped - 6+ ( i assume on certain days?) - we lost our goggles, they loaned us 2 pairs 6 - I as a single father need safety everywhere I take my daughters, they , they kind females checked on my daughter in the locker rooms 5 - water was clean 5, though they do need to hold the chlorine to accurate levels, it can be damaging to the eyes. - Overall experience swimming my laps, wall to wall in the public time zone, excellent. Go over to the 5 ft level if you need more space. -International guests I met from south america to mainland china , thats LA 5 Star awarded.
